Which college in Europe for easiest access

I took a test with erasmus for applying to their creative arts departments and the contents were vague and multiple choice with multiple answers that were very similar and unfair.

So I am looking for a college in Europe or Scandinavja where they have strong equality policies and also allow people who have have HSP autism or twice-exceptional.

A college in sweden for example.

Where are they most advanced in providing programmes for neurodivergent people that may not do well on tests designed for neurotypical students.

I've been wondering about mundus. Is the selection procedure very hard? And are their quota limited to low amount of people?

Erasmus for country of citizenship.

I am an international student who studies in Poland, however for various reasons such as visa, especially homesickness (I have been away since very long time) I'd like to go to Erasmus on my home country, Turkey.

Does anybody know about the possibility of it? If possible can I have grant too (since its my country of citizenship I wonder)

Erasmus Traineeship Thesis opportunities in the Pharmaceutical area

Hello, I am a Italian master student and I recently discovered I can do a thesis in Erasmus with the traineeship scholarship (which is usually dedicated to post laureates). The issue is that my universit “Chemistry and pharmaceutical technology” has no connections, and I’d have to find on my own the laboratory (private or university) willing to accept me. Of course I have to find my own area of interest , but the main ones in my course are: pharmaceutical chemistry, advanced medications, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry and analytical chemistry. The announcement notice is on February so I have the whole month to find a desirable place.

I have a few friends that did post-degree Erasmus, but nobody who did a Thesis abroad. At the moment I just want to know if any of you did something similar and what was your experience. My English is luckily very good so I don’t have problems in communicating.

Hello everyone,

My name is Abdifatah, and I am from Somalia. I hold a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, and I am very passionate about advancing my knowledge in renewable energy systems. I am currently planning to apply for the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Dynamics of Renewables-based Power Systems.

I would greatly appreciate it if anyone who has experience with Erasmus Mundus scholarships or has studied a similar course could guide me through the application process. Specifically, I need help with:

Writing a strong motivation letter.

Understanding what makes a competitive application.

Any tips or advice for increasing my chances of being selected.

If you have any resources, personal experiences, or suggestions, I’d be so grateful for your help.

Can I work in the same place that offers me the ERASMUS internship?

Hello, I am doing a postgraduate internship using the ERASMUS program. The company where I'm doing it has now offered me employment in the same position. Legally, can I sign the employment contract while still technically being in the mobility period? The employer will sign all my necessary documents for the completion of the internship.

Volunteering & Job

Hello! I’m 26 years old. Because of my indecisiveness, I still haven’t found my true profession. Right now, I’ve started a job that I don’t really like anymore, but I’ve made some progress in it. However, I want to join a volunteering project. Do you think I could find a job in the country I go to after the project ends? Of course, the goal is not to find a job there, but to do meaningful work and gain experience. However, if I come back with nothing again, it would be even worse for me, and my family would be furious with me :)

Couldn't go to Erasmus due to non-English language requirements, what to do?

Hello, I am a pharmacy student from Vilnius. The only opportunities we had for Erasmus student exchange was one university in Portugal(required to know B1 Portuguese alongside English) and one university in Poland(required to know B1 Polish alongside English). I did not want to risk burnout by learning either Polish or Portuguese while studying at my home university, and then applying for exchange to MAYBE be accepted into these universities I mentioned above. So, I decided not to go to Erasmus.

However, I'm now in my 5th year and regretting my decision, thinking that maybe burnout would have been the right choice because I might not have missed out on studying abroad.

What to do about this? Are there any other opportunities(apart from internships) that would allow me to spend 1-2 years abroad, preferably funded by a university? Or should I just prepare to fund everything using my own savings?

I'm also considering doing a PhD just so I could go abroad, but maybe that's not a good idea?

Am I Wasting My Time?

I'm very interested in a master's degree as it really aligns with my career goals and academic background, but I'm unsure if I'm qualified.

  • GPA: Translates to 3.8, in a prestigious university rate with a 6% acceptance rate.
  • IELTS: Score is 7.0, which meets the requirements but feels low.
  • Current Status: In my last semester of my bachelor’s degree and all my classes are related to the degree.
  • Experience:
    • Developed startups during my degree.
    • Volunteered at an incubator giving advice to entrepreneurs.
    • Participated with nonprofit organizations that share the programme’s goal from a young age.
    • Worked at a large and globally known company and contributed to significant growth.
  • Thesis: I have a solid idea for my thesis, it is a topic I’m very passionate about and relates to the university’s specializations.
  • Publications and Awards: Have not been published or won any major prizes, as I have focused on working on projects.

Retaking the IELTS and translating my grades would be expensive. I don’t want to be pessimistic. I just want to be realistic. This master seems like the next natural step in my journey but perhaps I’m not ready for it, yet.

Job and salary expectations after Erasmus Mundus Journalism?

Hi everyone. I have a bit of a nasty question. I understand that it's difficult to talk about money.

So... As you may know, EMJ no longer offers full scholarships, and the master's degree costs a total of 18.000 euros. Making the decision to study (if you are accepted) and pay that amount is a bit difficult.

To make that decision, I would like to ask those who have already graduated from this master's degree what their economic and work situation is like once they graduate. Do they have good job opportunities? Do the salaries of the jobs compensate for the investment? What are the jobs that can be accessed and how much do they pay approximately?

I understand that it's not a nice subject. I apologize, I'm from Argentina and I KNOW that the work situation of journalists is unsustainable. I don't understand (and my family asks me) if the investment is really something that will serve me in the future or if I'll continue to be the same economically and professionally.

I hope you can answer me... Thank you.

Erasmus in Gdansk or Wroclaw Poland?

Hello everyone, in the beggining of next year I'm going on erasmus for a semester and I can't decide if I should go to Gdansk or Wroclaw (I'm studying business), the universities are the following:

- Gdansk University of Technology

- Wroclaw University of Economics and Business

Also there are some aspects that matter to me on making this decision. Are there a lot of students in the city? How good are the dormitories in general? How is night life? Can you travel cheaply to other countries and do these cities have an active ESN group?

Finally I heard that all the subjects have mandatory presential classes at the Gdansk University of Technology, is it really like that or does it depend on the teacher?

Erasmus in Lisbon

Hello! I will be soon moving to Lisbon for my Erasmus internship and the only thing left for me is to find an apartment to stay. I have been searching through Idealista and platforms like Spot a Home, Uni Places, Inlife, Erasmus Housing etc. One thing I don't really like about these platforms (except Idealista) is that I first have to book the apartment and pay, without talking with someone first. That makes me kinda sceptical ,if I am being honest, I would rather avoid being scammed. Has anyone booked an apartment through these sites and can share their experience? (Especially if it was on Lisbon)

Does anyone have any good agency to recommend? Or any other good site to use? And any neighbourhoods to stay? They have told me about Benfica, Arroios, Intendente, Alameda, Saldanha, Anjos etc.

Thank you in advance for any help and tips.

Help Needed: Filling Out Erasmus Mundus Journalism Application Form

Hey everyone,

I’m currently in the process of applying for the Erasmus Mundus Journalism program (super excited about it!). While going through the application requirements, I came across the application form, which is provided as a PDF.

Here’s my question:

  • Should I convert the PDF to a Word document and fill it out digitally?
  • Or should I print it, fill it out by hand, and then scan it back into a PDF?

I want to make sure I submit it in the correct format and avoid any issues. If anyone here has gone through the process or has any insights, I’d really appreciate your advice!

Thanks in advance, and good luck to everyone else applying this year. 😊

My Poland National Visa got rejected for reason no: 10

I need your suggestions regarding an Issue.
I am currently studying in Turkey and I have been selected for fully funded Erasmus+ Exchange program for a Semester in Poland. Currently I am in my 4th semester and got selected for 5th semester. I applied for the Poland National Visa by submitting every supporting documents, including Erasmus+ grant letter, Erasmus+ Learning agreement etc. But the decision came out negative and Visa got refused, with the following reason

  1. "There are reasonable doubts regarding the reliability of the statements you made about the purpose of your stay in the territory of the Republic of Poland due to the evidence that is available to the authority or due to objective circumstances indicating that the purpose of the stay could be different than declared."

To be honest, I don't have any idea about the exact reason of this refusal as I submitted every possible supporting Erasmus+ Document. But one reason could be the "Cover Letter" which I didn't submit because it was not a requirement.

Or, the other reason could be the revocation of my previous Lithuanian Schengen visa, which was also for Erasmus, but I attached the photocopy of that Visa with my original Application and also contacted the Embassy but the Consular office said, the lithuanian revocation has nothing to do with Poland. (BTW that visa got revoked because I sent an Email to Embassy inquiring if I can book a new connecting flight instead of the direct fllght, which I submitted at the time of application)

Well, now I have right to appeal, and I am thinking of doing that. I need your suggestion what additional supporting documents should I attach with my Appeal Cover letter. I have already asked my Host University and they sent me a letter of confirmation ( to the Embassy) which I'll submit with my Appeal Letter.

Please suggest.

House hunting in Madrid

Hi everyone! I’ll be moving to Madrid in early January for a semester, and I’ve been searching for accommodation. I came across a really nice apartment that I like. It’s about 30-40 minutes from my university by public transport, but the neighborhood looks great, so I’m considering it.

I started chatting with the landlord on Idealista, and everything seemed fine—until she asked if we could move the conversation to WhatsApp. That raised a red flag for me, especially considering some of the scams I’ve heard about on Idealista.

I told her I’m uncomfortable switching to WhatsApp, but she replied that “everyone here chats on WhatsApp.” I haven’t responded yet, and I’m feeling a bit unsure about how to proceed.

Is this a normal practice in Spain, or should I stick to communicating through Idealista for safety?

META 4.0 - Should I apply?, No manufacturing related experience.,

I am mainly interested in asking those who have successfully scored the EMJM scholarship in META 4.0 program. I am a Metallurgy and Materials Engineer with research mainly focused on Advance Ceramic Materials, and apart from one 6-week internship, I have very limited experience with manufacturing, However, I am interested in Manufacturing Sector.

I feel like I shouldn't.
