Hey guys, did some of you applied to this year’s application for the IMATEC program? Please leave a comment so we can support each other for the upcoming interviews!
Hi everyone,
I recently got invited for an interview for the EMMIE master’s program, and I’d love to hear from anyone who has gone through it before.
What is the interview process like, and what kind of questions do they usually ask? Any tips on how to prepare and make a good impression?
I’d really appreciate any insights or advice. Thanks in advance!
Hello! I have some questions. First of all, if I spend a semester in a different university does those credits translate to NY transcript in my own university? Do I have to pick similar and/or same subjects to my own uni? Second of all, do I need to pay for my semester that I missed out on in my own uni?
Thank you for your help
I want to understand, do we only need to submit our application at the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship portal? Do we need to also submit our application to study at one of the host universities???
Can someone help me with this? I am really anxious and confused about
Hi everyone,
I’m a student in Iceland, and I’ve been accepted for an Erasmus+ internship in Italy. However, I’m not a citizen of any EU country. I’ve contacted my University and the Erasmus coordinator, but I still haven’t received a concrete answer regarding whether I need a residence permit to stay in Italy during my internship.
I’m a little bit worried because I really want to do this Erasmus internship, and I’m not sure what the next steps should be. If anyone has experience with this or can point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate your advice!
Thanks in advance!
Hi everybody!
I'm thinking about applying for the Erasmus Mundus program as a self-funding student, and I wanted ask if anyone knows how competitive it is. I graduated with honors in International Relations and I have a couple of months of experience working for NGOs in the field of humanitarian action. This is literally my dream master's degree, and I wanted to see how good were my chances to get in, before getting my hopes up!!
Hi everyone! I'm gathering information about a possible exchange in New York City. I'm a Business Master's student in Copenhagen, Denmark, and I'm really interested in living and studying in the Big Apple for six months.
Has anyone here moved from a European university to New York for this experience?
I'm looking for insights on expenses and how you managed to secure funding. My main focus is understanding how much money I would need to live a typical student life in New York.
Thank you in advance!
I’m (f23) applying for erasmus in Valencia and Barcelona. I don’t know which school in Barcelona to put first. I can choose between ESCI UPF and Universitat de Barcelona. I’m taking a bachelor degree in business administration. Any thoughts?
I’m only going for the first semester in the fall this year.
I have to decide tonight✌🏼
So uhh only 1 month left to my interview (KA1 for Denmark) need tips for interview
Has anyone attempted the test for EMJMD for EACH. Can you please guide me on what kind of questions are in it?
Anyone going on Erasmus to Poland/Gliwice next semester?
Hi!! I’ve just been accepted to study at the Autonomous University of Madrid, starting in August of this year. Im so so excited but honestly know nothing about Madrid or anyone that has been, and have never been to Spain!! For context I am a F21 a law/economics student from Melbourne, and my current concerns/queries are:
where should I live so that I am able to integrate myself with the culture of the city, but also have some fellow exchange students around me and be able to make friends? UAM is quite far from the city centre so I’m wanting so sort of live in between so the commute isn’t too bad
has anyone else been/struggked with finding subjects that are taught in English?
how should I go about finding roommates/should I do student accommodation? What’s the best thing to do living wise?
Any other advice would be amazing as well, and let me know if you’re also going to Madrid same time!!
Me and my roomate are looking for two rooms in Lisbon because the one we ranted it's unlivable. We have a budget of 550 each, can you recomend us some websites or places to look into. We are desperate.
Hi everyone, I arrived recently in Barcelona for my Erasmus. Feel free to contact me to connect!
Hi, so I want to be an Erasmus scholar. The thing is due to certain reasons I cannot go for the 2025 cohort. I can only go for the 2026 cohort. So here are my questions.
Kindly let me know.
Hey, so I'm supposed to be going on erasmus in exactly 4 days and I don't feel excited at all. I was feeling enthusiastic one year before, during the application process, but now I just feel empty and without any motive. I've even made a list of things to do on my semester abroad to hype myself up and I still feel completely unmotivated.
Can anyone else relate to this? People that did go to erasmus, how were you feeling before leaving? Did you end up having a good time? I'm not even anxious or scared, I just feel like... meh?
Hi everyone,
I’m applying for the EMABG program and could really use some advice on writing my motivation letter. I’m feeling a bit stuck because my profile isn’t super strong, and I’m not sure how to present it effectively.
Here’s my situation:
I’m passionate about this field and really want to pursue this program, but I’m struggling to highlight my strengths and connect my background to the program’s requirements. How can I frame my motivation letter to show my potential despite these limitations?
Any tips, examples, or suggestions would be incredibly helpful! Thanks in advance!
I’m from the Philippines and apparently Filipinos have trouble applying to German MA programs because we only do 10 years of pre-university, as opposed to 12.
Thing is: I did 12 years, and most of the people my age (and younger) did too. I’ve tried to write to both Uni-Assist and the program I’m applying too but I have not gotten anything back.
Any ideas?
Hello! I (21F) am gonna be next year in my final year of uni (majoring in computer science). I have always wanted to go in erasmus, but something always came to mess it up. I have a change to go next year but a lot of people discourage me because there may be trouble with equalization of exams. Also no classmate want to go because they want to focus on their thesis project so i would alone in a new country.
I have a friend a year older than me that went to Finland in the same situation that i would be next year, so i’m waiting on updates from her when it comes to exams.
My options that i would like to try for Erasmus are Gavle(Sweden), Geel(Belgium) and Hameenlinna(Finland), so if anybody went there for an exchange or studies there, i would love to hear your thoughts about them.
I really need to hear a objective opinion about my situation and what would be the best thing to do.:)
Hey everyone. So I've got my interview within 1 month so I'm just open to every advice that will help me improve for interview.
Hey everyone,
I’m a final-year mechanical engineering student at Turkey, and I’m planning to do a multi-month Erasmus+ internship in Italy. I want to gain experience in machining and manufacturing, including areas like production and machine maintenance.
I was considering applying to Ferrari, but I’d like to explore other options as well. Does anyone have insights into high-profile companies in the automotive, aerospace, defense or just machine companies (like breton) that focus on machining and manufacturing?
If anyone has done an internship or worked in this field in Italy, I’d love to hear about your experiences and any advice you have.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Hello all,
My deadline for submitting my preference for a semester abroad is nearing and I am indecisive. I seem to not be able to choose between two cities. These cities are: Lisbon and Helsinki. Both cities and universities that I can choose from have their positives but also their negatives. Lisbon has a great climate and cost of living while Helsinki has the opposite. Also, the university in Helsinki, where I want to go to, has courses that align well with my educational goals, while the one in Lisbon doesn't. Furthermore, I have more affinity for the Portuguese culture than the Finnish culture. On top of this, the coordinator of my university and other students say that the university in Lisbon is bad with its communication towards (potential) exchange students and that all secondary essentials are better to organize when going to Finland, like housing etc.
I am kind of in a split. Do I want to follow course that I like, but not in a country that I (for now) am not fond of, or should I just go to Portugal, a country I am more sure of being able to have a good time in, even though my educational goals will not be met.
What are your recommendations? Do you have any experiences with choosing your Erasmus exchange based on education or other reasons like culture and how did it unfold? Do you have any positives or negatives aspects about Lisbon or Helsinki I am missing? I am looking forward to your comments.
anyone experiencing this too? i have reached out through the website's "Contact" tab but have not heard anything back
Hello,
I am finishing up my bachelors degree in the USA and would like to do one of these programs. The 3 i’m eyeing have deadlines of February 21st to March 16th.
Would it be too late to apply now? I need to be considered for financial aid/scholarships so I don’t know if they view applications on a rolling basis or what.
Also, is it advisable to apply straight out of undergrad? I’m not sure. I have experience in studying abroad (Barcelona, Spain) through a prestigious government funded scholarship that paid all expenses, working as a social media manager for my university, and working for an ivy league university at their research center as a communications intern. I have 3 publications, and i’m bilingual 3.5 GPA.
Is this enough experience? I’m worried about the competition honestly :,(… 21 and don’t really know what i’m doing but I love university and I need to figure it out soon!! I’m applying to programs that focus on higher education and public policy
Hi, I study economics and I am choosing between st.Gallen and TUM in Munich. Since I am an introvert and I never lived alone, would you recommend me a provincial city like st.Gallen or a bigger one like Munich?
Hello, I'm a Brazilian student and I'm finishing my undergraduate degree in Letras (literature), and even though I haven't finished yet, I'm pondering about applying for erasmus and I was wondering if there's any Brazilian student here who could help with some tips and etc. That would be very helpful, thanks.
Hello, im a student from Germany (Im Polish) and i would really love to go on a student exchange to Czechia. The problem is, by that time i would be on hormones and fully present as a man, while my documents data still says female. Its really hard to change your gender in documents in Poland and im scared i wouldn't be able to go on erasmus because of that. Like they won't believe me that the documents belong to me or even arrest me to make sure im not lying about my Id card. Does anyone know if its safe to still go on erasmus while being in such a situation?
