Does anybody happen to know where do get additional information about the tour being conducted by Andrea Morricone?
https://www.morriconeofficialconcert.com/
I've been waiting to see if other concert dates might pop up, but haven't seen anything. Very curious about plans for the tour going forward.
From the soundtrack to ‘Danger: Diabolic’
i’m playing a blindest game and we were doing the “netflix shows” category and we’re down to one show and the song was Alla luce del giorno by Ennio Morricone but i can’t find the show that used this song if anyone can help me it would be amazing
My wife and I both truly enjoy the music of Ennio Morricone. We know that he has passed away but are there any options for hearing his music performed live? We are based in the Midwest but travel to Europe occasionally.
Hi everyone,
Someone told me a long time ago there was some oriental inspiration in western movies, and he made listen to these kind of inspiration.
I was looking after it, but can't find it.
Do you guys have any idea or is it just completely wrong ?
Thank you
i’m surprised this reddit doesn’t discuss more about the music from the Mission ; to me it’s so good
The documentary on Ennio is finally going to be released in the States with a first theatrical run in February and March 2024. More information -- https://www.musicboxfilms.com/film/ennio/
There's a lovely track on the Mondo Morricone comp CD (https://www.discogs.com/master/620938-Ennio-Morricone-Mondo-Morricone) called Doricamente. Anyone knows where it comes from? According to the info available on Discogs, the earliest sighting is on Ideato, Scritto E Diretto Da Ennio Morricone (https://www.discogs.com/release/2689218-Ennio-Morricone-Ideato-Scritto-E-Diretto-Da-Ennio-Morricone) from 1970 but that's a comp as well, so did it maybe come from a 7"?
Please extend your very long hand to help me out of this rabbit hole!
HI! I just watched Ennio documentary movie and have been searching for soundtracks inserted in the movie.
Does anyone happen to remember orchestra musics inserted in the movie, other than those shown with movie clips?
Hey! There's some melodies in this song sampled. Those who sounds like it was played the servants of the king before the important decorations. Weird description, but I'd like to know their names or how to find it. Is anyone can help?
I can't find it anywhere unfortunately ...
... why on earth wasn't Lolita's soundtrack mentionned?
The documentary is called "the glance of music" (2021) and I really enjoyed it but I'm surprised and a little annoyed Lolita wasn't mentionned at all. That soundtrack, especially "love in the morning", is phenomenal.
