1. Only Images or Videos

• No articles or links to full websites.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Don't type out gibberish trying to pass it off as engrish.
• No Google translate screenshots.
• No transcriptions from AI. We want our Engrish the old fashioned way.
• No mistakes made by children, or people who are trying to learn English. (Don’t post a student’s English classwork).

• Breaking this rule could result in a ban.

• A "repost" is NOT a non-unique image, but a non-unique instance of Engrish or translation. In other words, the same Engrish phrase could be printed on many different products, but they would all count as 1 instance of Engrish.
• Don't submit posts that have already appeared in r/Engrish in the last 6 months, or posts that have appeared in the Top Posts Category.
• Please report any violations.

• Off-topic content will be removed.

• No Low-effort content, including low quality and irrelevant titles.

• This includes any type of self-promotion, referrals, affiliate links, gofundme, etc

• Friendly reminder to be kind and respectful to one another.

• You will be permanently banned.

• No typos or very minor accidental mistakes
• No mistakes caused by auto-correct.
