Hi,
My 3ds is slowly dying and I want to still be able to play FE Fates when it happens. But FE Fates technically being 3 games, I don't really know how I should proceed.
I have a conquest cartridge and I bought birthright and revelation later on the eShop (accessible through the cartridge, not separate games but more like a dlc) and I would like to know how it works and if it's possible to create a copy of the 3 games in one (and to keep my save files too).
I have a 7950x and normally run balanced.
but some games turn it up to max performance, which I don't want.
I don't want anything to mess with my power scheme
Is this a known issue? A setting I can change in emulationstation, retroarch, or whatever?
For example, playing Dangun Feveron, a Cave game.
I'm a retro gaming noob
Thanks
I'm trying to use a wired RetroBit six-button Sega controller with Fusion 3.64, but the emulator doesn't seem to be able to recognize it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Solved: Unplugged Bluetooth mouse from USB port, restarted with controller in that USB port, and it was recognized by the emulator.
Hey guys, I just ordered a mini pc (beelink) to make a retro console with it using batocera. With all the help from YouTube I think it will work. I have used emulators for like 15 years on my main pc. Mostly GBA, SNES, N64 and PS1. This time I wanna put all the consoles in it and with all games on it. I know I will probably never play all of them.
Is there a way to download all the roms and isos for the consoles at one time, so I dont have to do like a trillion downloads? Best way would be like: all n64 roms download here and so on.
I found an archived thread, but the links didnt work.
Google couldnt help me either.
Maybe I am just dumb. If so I am sorry, but I am so hyped doing this!
Are there any advices you have for me? Another Operation system or tips in general?
Thanks in advance!
I installed the PCSX2 2.0 a few weeks ago and I’ve been trying to run Black on it, but it’s very low on fps, especially when rendering long distances, I tried looking online and different configurations, but haven’t been able to solve it. My notebook has a Ryzen 7 4800h, GTX1650 and 16gb of RAM
I'm trying to figure out a way to import some cheat codes into Duckstation. The list of cheats I want to copy from is on PSX Emulation Cheater (PEC). They are custom codes and there are many and I am trying to figure out a way to copy the entire list somehow, and not have to manually type them into Duckstation one by one. PEC's formatting is different than Duckstation's in terms of the text files that the cheats are stored on, so I can't just copy and paste them between text files. Duckstation's cheat manager has an option that says "import" and if you select that you then have an option to select "from file" or "from text". I've tried to fiddle around with it to import my cheats but I can't get it to work and I don't really know the extent of this "import" function. If someone could help me with this I would appreciate it. Thanks
I have 5 gamecube games, can't play any of them with a controller. With the dolphin you install in retrobat, my ps5 controller (wired) won't play once the game starts. On the actual dolphin application it works great. Even in the retrobat menu the ps5 controller works. Just when I load into marimario cart it doesn't. I can't even use my keyboard in the game.
I'm trying to update mGBA. Everything seems to download fine, but when it says "press ok to restart mGBA and install update" I click "ok" and it closes but doesn't open back up. When I go to open it again, it says "update available" and has me repeat the process as if the update didn't install. So I'm guessing that it didn't for some reason.
I can cancel out of the update if I want to play something, so the emulator still works. But I'd really like to keep it up to date. Can someone please help? I don't know if this is important, but I'm on Win11.
What emulators can I download for a laptop
There is currently anyy way to play Pokemon battles via emulator? I don't care in what game, SV, BW, SM...
I have a copy of "Hajime No Ippo: The Fighting" (Japan) on my PC Files. I added my game to the RPCS3 Emulator and it says it "Booting Failed: No Bootable Content Was Found".. im not too sure if its my BIOS firmware (Firmware 4.91), or my game in general. I've tried so many methods based off of youtube videos but i still haven't been able to Solve it.
I just got a computer to get into nintendo switch emulation and its been running alright except for the fact the game just stops with music playing every time a pokemon evolves is there anyway to fix this?
This is the computer im currently using right now
I recently set up mupen64plus on my pc and I am having an issue with game save files. I save in one file and it saves in all 4 at the same time. If I can fix it I would but if I can't I can live with it. I use zorin os as my operating system and mupen64plus as is with no gui add-ons.
When I try to install rpcs3 on my pc(windows 11) it shows application error 0xc0000142 does anyone knows how to fix it😕😕
My dad retired two months ago, and my mom will retire in about eight months. They don’t use computers or phones much—they mostly watch TV. To keep their retirement from being boring, I’m planning to turn an acemagic 5700U mini PC at home into an emulator. What games would you recommend for them? Ideally, nothing too complicated. Thanks in advance!
Hello, sorry for the inconvenience, I don’t really know a lot about emulation or PCSX2 but I was trying to play a copy of mine of Katamari Damacy on this emulator because my PS2 broke; however, this glitch or problem keeps happening, where the sound is fine but the Image is always glitching. Do you know how to solve this? Thanks a lot for your time and for my clumsiness if it’s just an easy problem.
So, I couldn't find nothing specific about it, but I've got an itch to play some hack & slash titles from gameboy advance (most specifically Lord of the Rings Return of the King, but Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance and LOTR The Two Towers aswell).
Do someone here have any recommends for emulator and configs for running this with nicer graphics in a HD/Full HD monitor? I've seen some tutorials around tuned for more cartoonish graphics like in Pokemon, but I'd like to know if there are more specific stuff I could do for the aforementioned games.
[HELP] what can i emulate with my PC
I recently acquired a HP ProDesk 400 G2 and wanted to ask what I could emulate with it.
A Few details:
Planning to use some kind of Linux distribution on the lines of Garuda, Arch or Debian. (open for recommendations)
What emulators can i expect to work on the PC/ how well would they run. (would love to play some game cube)
I have no prior experience with emulation on linux
The specs: i5-6500T | 8 GB | 256 GB SSD | iHD-Graphics 530 | 2.50 GHz
Thanks for every comment and helpful reply!🙏🥲

Can I use a windows 10 or just a regular kinda good quality gaming pc in order for a ps2 emulator to run smoothly.
Also can any of you give any suggestions of any pc's whether it's cheap or expensive for me to run the emulator on?
So ive been looking everywhere on how i can get my hands on The Simpsons Game (2007) and i don't think paying $60 for a 17 year old game is the move so ive resorted to emulation. The thing is i have no clue where to start, i just want to play this game one last time on PC
I just bought a new gaming PC to get into switch emulation and i just downloaded suyu and even though my PC has decent specs The game's still a little glitchy/laggy Is there anyway I could optimize the performance?
No Menu's come up and I don't know what to do to fix it
I need help on getting majors mask I have no clue what I'm doing can someone give advice and tell me how to get majors mask please , thank you
I started Pokémon Crystal on my Miyoo Mini Plus, no I wanna put my savegame on the PC to trade with myself and evolve Graveler. Sadly, MGBA can't handle the .srm file the MM+ created as a savegame. Which Emulator can handle my file?
I know there was a similar post 8 months ago, but all of the resources labelled in the threads have been shut down like yuzu and citra. Would love a proper guide on what I need and how to get them. maybe a yt video link would help. Please help me out, i am so lost.
PS1 had a thing where 3D parts or gameplay was running at 240p while menus were running at a higher resolution. I like playing on original resolutions but with enhancements.
But because 240p is such a low resolution, menus that were meant for 480p tend to look horrible and kinda unreadable. I can kind of make due but it sucks all round.
I can clearly see in the resolution display that the internal resolution changes depending on content. Is there a way to change your exclusive fullscreen to that resolution? Or set a high and low resolution?
Someone recommended using Beetle PSX on retro arch but that didn't have any option for this.
Just want to open up by saying I’ve been trying only one game, Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith
Today has been a nightmare. I started with CXBX, found out I had to make the ISOs into XBE. Downloaded XDVD and it’s surprisingly easy and simple process. But it creates a lot of files just for one game, and the dashboard too. I get all that set up just for the game to black screen me. Hours gone
I go to this subreddit and someone mentions XEMU so I try that instead. Thought it took ISOs like a majority of emulators. Nope! it adds a letter in the beginning and makes it a new file! The process to make an ISO into an XISO do much more tedious to achieve. Granted I used Extract XISO program, and it’s just refusing to work after I opened the PowerShell.
Even then I have to MANUALLY convert every individual game into a different file no matter the emulation method. Is there just no way I can just download an XISO file so I don’t have to want to bash my head in?
I have to either, A.) fine a reputable website that has non-ISO files of Xbox games, or B.) download ISO from the largest database and manually convert each game
At this point I’ll just stick to PCSX2 and just get the PS2 version of the game because Xbox is stupidly difficult to emulate.
