I have always loved to become cabin crew at Emirates. Do they employ Tanzanias? Do you know anybody working there? I just want to know.........
Hello i'm about to claim my emirates id on Emirates headquarters terminal 3, HGHQ. however i don't know their schedule right now, if i can claim it. does anyone know the HGHQ schedule this day? no one answer the email or tel. huhu pleassssse thank you so much!!!!
Hello everyone.
I’m (26F) a newly qualified lawyer in Australia and I have an Australian visa which expires in two years. My plan was to go to Australia to work as a lawyer. However, I’m quite keen in being a cabin crew as well. Love the thought of being able to travel around the world.
I applied online and got an invitation to go to the assessment day. But im kind of in a dilemma at the moment. I only plan to work as a cabin crew for two years as I don’t see myself doing this when I’m old. I heard it’s not good for your body. But if I work for two years as a cabin crew, I will lose the opportunity to look for jobs and to work in Australia as a lawyer as it is very hard to get a visa in Australia. It is also very hard to find jobs in Australia.
What would you guys do in my position?
TIA
Hi I'm 15 and I'm going from mel to delhi I was wondering If I could do this route alone and what I would expect at my layover alone. Thanks.
I’m going to book now and just wanna make sure I’m eligible to get the email to upgrade, knowing that they told me I can get it, its flex fare.
This is my 1st time travelling in emirates im not sure of which seats shall I book, prem economy or business, how much difference is there in its comfort & meals! My travel is just 3 hours flight so i was inclined towards prem economy!
hello guys if you work for emirates I can get you best credit cards from Dib mashreq and cbd your company is listed with all banks and you can get your card in 2 days msg me for more help
Flying with Emirates soon and have a 3 year old with allergies (dairy and egg). Is it better to order a vegan meal or a child meal? Hoping the child meal will be chips and chicken or something uncomplicated
So this week will be my first time on board Emirates. I thought we'd be seated in economy, but my parents revealed that they upgraded the seats to Premium Econ. As mentioned, I've never flown Emirates but I am a sucker for watching aviation reviews during studying or free time. I've seen mixed reviews about Premium Economy. I'm especially worried about the recline. The seat will recline back dangerously close to the passenger behind me and also other people can confine me if they decide to recline fully. What are your experience(s) with Premium Economy?
I’ve been comparing the prices of Emirates tickets across different platforms and see that I get some additional cash back if I book via Amazon.in.. is it reliable to book using that?
Can anyone here who is well connected with HR help me in getting interviews for any role? i need to get this job.
Does someone know the measurement of a tray table in economic class?
Hi all,
I attended an Emirates assessment day yesterday.
There were 3 rounds, introduction, group exercise and an english test. I passed all 3 successfully and I made it all the way to the final interview, which was actually on a Teams call.
This morning, less than 24 hours later, I received an e-mail rejecting me. (After careful consideration, we regret to inform you that your application will not be progressed further at this time. Etc…)
Honestly, I’m currently wondering what could have been the reason for the rejection…. Now, I worked a lot on my CV and cover letter and I feel like they were great. I think I also gave brilliant answers to all of their questions and did the best I could. I also tried to look the part and put a lot of effort into my apperence such as clothes, hair and make-up.
I know that you guys won’t be able to tell my why I was rejected either but I was wondering - if any of you went through the same thing - What did you do? Did you re-apply?
I am a bit sad and dissapointed however I am thinking of trying again in the next few months, since even the recruiter herself (ex-Emirates cabin crew) said that she applied 4 times to get the job.
If any of have experience with Emirates feel free to share!
I upgraded to business class as I’m 7 months pregnant. I was shocked at how rude & cold the Emirates staff are in Dubai airport. I’m Indian and maybe that contributes. I could never imagine British Airways staff being so rude to my face.
I had been in Dubai for 4 weeks from Mumbai. I had a medical letter from Mumbai that I was fit to fly as I’m pregnant until such date and what weeks I was.
Emirates last minute said I can’t board as I have to be re-examined by a local doctor for a new certificate. I had called Emirates to check if everything would be fine before my flight and they had said yes. On their website none of this is clear that a local doctor letter is needed.
I had to go to a Dubai hospital, wait and pay £300 for this examination, stay in Dubai another night and pay for another upgrade and a ‘no show fee’ - even though I showed up.
I’ve never been in this situation. It was distressing. I always fly on BA but this time I thought I’d experience Emirates as I heard great things about the new business class. I ended up on the old business class as well.
They had no vegetarian main course…even though I requested this in business class prior…& I had to go straight for a hospital appointment when I landed.
My midwife said I was malnourished after she did some tests.
I’m completely put off Emirates and I just wanted to share my story. This happened just a month ago.
I complained to Emirates and they give zero Fs. At least British airways may throw in AVIOS or apologise. Nothing from Emirates. I was literally crying in the business class terminal from the stress of being denied boarding and they were soooo rude.
I'm a student travelling internationally from US. I have applied the student promo, am a student and have my valid student Id with me. I bought the ticket with 10% discount using the promo.
It is shown in my ticket that I'm allowed 2 checked-ins with 23Kg or 50lb each. Will I be able to bring an extra check-in of 10kg ? I have applied the student promo, am a student and have my valid student Id with me.
Hi just wondering if this route (3am flight) has a newer 777 or the older non lay flat 777 config. I believe this flight is two class. Thanks
Hello
I was wondering as a flight attendant, if you are obligated to stay in a shared house that Emirates provides. Or is it possible to find your own place where they or yourself pay for?
Hello!
I booked the Emirates Bus from Abu Dhabi (ZVJ) to Dubai: https://www.emirates.com/de/english/...service-dubai/
Pick up: In front of Emirates Down Town office ‑ Khalidiya ‑ Corniche. Is that the correct place: https://maps.app.goo.gl/BCqdnpJJgXGxXPrA7 ?
Did someone use the Bus before and can tell me how it works? Do I have to check-in somewhere? Is it enough to be there 30 minutes before departure? Thanks!
I got offered a customer service position at DBX with Emirates but my goal is to eventually become cabin crew. Also, I’m based in Australia and the salary is very low compared to the average salary here. And I’ve heard career progression from ground staff to cabin crew almost never happens. Should I go for it for the experience of working for a big airline or should I keep trying to apply for cabin crew?
Hi all. As the title says. I have a long haul 14 hour flight later tonight. Upgrade is available to Business for USD 1700 (AED 5900 actually). I already booked an exit seat on Economy for extra leg room. The upgrade looks tempting considering it's overnight. Thoughts?
Looking to book Barcelona round trip flights.

Hello - I am interested in buying someone’s Emirates Skywards points, up to 100,000 or more works for me. Lmk!
How often does EK update ground staff to cabin crew? Got an offer for a customer service job but my goal is to eventually become cabin crew and I don’t know if I should take it or not. Besides that, the salary is low compared to what I already get paid for in the country I live in. I appreciate some honest answers.
Hello, today I tried to make a booking through the Emirates app. First, I tried to book a flight by using Paypal's 'Pay in 4' installment plan, but it didn't go through, so I cancelled the booking. Then, I booked again, but this time I paid in full and it went though and the booking confirmation got sent to my email. I checked the app's bookings again and saw that I made two bookings. When I clicked on the other booking that I made the first time, it said something along the line of it not yet being authorized, so I'm worried it might charge me again. Eventually, I deleted that booking in the app. Will I be charged again or they can only charge me if they send a confirmation email?
