Submit a link to the announcement of a new 3/$30 promotion. Maybe write a two page dissertation about what makes the Seattle in a Seattle hot dog. Or reminisce in a self post about the foie gras you had at Rover's that changed the way that you see food. As long as it's about food and Seattle, this is the home for it.

Anyone else a fan of Sisters and Brothers on Elliott Ave? Their fried chicken and Mai Tais are great!
When we lived on First Hill we used to always walk over to Mike's Noodle House for their wonton brisket soup and this amazing dish they called "Spicy Pork Noodle" - it had a dark red sauce that was porky, a bit spicy, and just incredibly good; if you've ever smelled lao gan ma chili crisp, it tastes very similar to that. The noodles were springy fettuccine-style noodles.
Help - is there any way to replicate it? I found a Taiwanese pork noodle recipe that looks a little similar, but isn't saucy enough.
Also, the broth...how in the world do I replicate that soup broth? I live 2000 miles away now.
I mean obviously it closed years ago, but anyone know what happened to its chef? Or the bartender, Funk?
Looking for must-haves when I visit Seattle this year. Any suggestions?
Hi, I've read a lot of 'maybes' for being able to find fresh ostrich eggs in Pike Place and other places locally, but nothing confirmed. Does anyone know for sure where I can buy a fresh ostrich egg? thanks!
I want to buy some custom decorated sugar cookies for a kid's birthday party, but all I can seem to find are cakes and cupcakes, or regular cookies. Specifically I would like to order some dinosaur cookies. I know I can DIY but I don't want to.
Local small bakeries preferred but chains would be considered as well. I'm located near Bothell but am willing to drive pretty much anywhere in the greater Seattle-ish area for the right bakery.
I’ve had it at Zeitoon in Kirkland but want to buy some to take home. Anybody know and grocers that carry it?
Looking to hire a personal chef on retainer in the Bellevue area for an executive with a constantly changing travel schedule. Will need to be able to accommodate same day requests for meals delivered (i.e., call in the morning, have a prepared meal delivered by evening, call in evening, have meals delivered next day). Cooking will need to be done elsewhere and chef will need to follow some dietary restrictions and work with exec's nutritionist. A duo or team of chefs would also work to make sure someone is always available to accommodate last minute requests. I haven't found any services like this advertised in my search for personal chefs, so trying my old standby for all things out of the ordinary - Reddit!
Referrals/recommendations also welcome - thank you!
I like to think I make a pretty great Italian sandwich, certainly better than most sandwiches you can find here in Seattle. I hit up the Ballard Market deli for my meats, usually going for mortadella, genoa salami, and capicola. (Also, I get the imported provolone, it's so much better than the domestic.)
However, I still haven't found a great hoagie bread.
I'm looking for a roll that's got real density to it, but doesn't have a crispy crust. Does anyone know where I might find a sub roll like that?
My manfriend and I are visiting your gorgeous city in September. As sortof a weird tradition, I always research whatever city we're visiting and make a reservation somewhere that has a reputation for having fantastic duck (typically duck breast but he also loves Peking duck type dishes as well). Do any of you have a favorite restaurant in mind? Much appreciated!
A group of students and I from UW Seattle are creating an app which aims to reduce food waste. Could you please take some time out of your day to fill out this survey? https://goo.gl/forms/3PKzUap7vussWnCt1 Your responses will really help guide our thinking. Thank you and have a nice day.
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/77BB9NP Hello Everyone! Doing a project and seeing the way people use restaurant reservation tools (Yelp/Opentable etc), and how people go about finding new restaurants to try. Thanks in Advance!
I'm headed to Seattle this weekend for Geek Bowl and I'm looking for your city's best donuts. I googled and a few options came up but they all had similar ratings so I thought I'd ask the professionals:
Where can I find the best donuts in Seattle?
