Some Screenshots from our fanmade Music Video "The Farewell of Aewenial" – (Music by Mornienna)

A fanmade music video to the composition of the Artist Mornienna.

Link: https://youtu.be/w9gfzGV_yak?si=s_jNKoD6p_PrCtDJ

This video was brought to life by a group of incredibly creative and passionate people, under the direction of Elisabeth Kringe, as part of her scenography project for her university FH Dortmund. The video theme is inspired by Middle-earth and Tolkien's work.

I’m excited to share the final result, so that more people can appreciate the amazing work that was put into it. A lot of heart and dedication went into this project, and it wouldn't have been possible without the contributions of many friends who helped with filming, acting, creating the sets, and crafting costumes.

As I have been involved in the making, I am sharing this video on behalf of the entire team. If you watch until the credits you can see the incredible people who made this possible. Please check out Mornienna's YouTube channel. He pours his heart and soul into his music projects and definitely deserves more attention.

Thank you all so much for watching!

Lembas-Inspired Energy Ball Recipe

Doubling the Lembas-Inspired Energy Ball Recipe Here's the doubled recipe: Ingredients: 2 cups rolled oats 1/2 cup honey 1/2 cup dried cranberries 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 cup chia seeds 1/2 cup powdered lion's mane mushrooms 1/2 cup powdered reishi mushrooms 2 tablespoons goji berries 2 tablespoons spirulina powder 2 tablespoons maca powder 2 tablespoons bee pollen Instructions: Combine dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the oats, cranberries, walnuts, chia seeds, lion's mane mushrooms, reishi mushrooms, goji berries, spirulina powder, maca powder, and bee pollen. Add wet ingredients: Stir in the honey and vanilla extract. Form balls: Roll the mixture into small balls. Dehydrate: Place the balls on a dehydrator tray and dehydrate at a low temperature until dry (this may take several hours). Store: Once dehydrated, store the balls in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. This doubled recipe will yield approximately twice the number of energy balls as the original recipe and should be enough to share at a party for 5-10 people along with all your other fun dishes! Enjoy and tell us how it went and if you ended up changing anything in the recipe!

Artistic Outlet Amateur Question

I've done a lot of home DIY and fixes - the typical kind of drywall patching and repair, even entire kitchen and room remodels of ripping down to the studs, new drywall, taping, mud work, etc. Now I have a crazy idea I want to know if it's possible and/or how to do it. I've tried Google Searches and I'm just not getting what I'm looking for.

Our house has cheap wood stair banisters/railings that were severely scratched and gouged by cat claws from past owners 1/4 - 1/2" deep in places. Original idea fastest and cheapest idea was just to Bondo the gouges and paint.

Crazy idea= is there a material similar to Bondo that could be added all around the spindles and railings and then carved to make it look Tolkien inspired Elvish? Carving in branch and leaf like designs? So it would need to be something that could harden around the current spindles and cover them without needing to be baked like most clays, but soft enough to carve/shape (ideally be able to sculpt into the overall shapes and just carve in the details but that may be asking way too much, lol). I know it's probably completely off the wall but figured if anyone out there has done this, Reddit would be the place to find them.

Tree of life pendant

I wanted to share my latest piece of wearable art with everyone! Made from black onyx, moonstone, and a tiny Herkimer diamond that I mined this summer.

Intricately hand woven in antiqued copper wire depicting a framed magical tree. I hope you like it! 🌲🪞
