So with an impending opening, I just wanted to know: does anyone have a read or inside info on what exactly is happening here? The decor looks significantly upgraded. Much more in line with what I see at more traditional/chain Brazilian Steakhouses. Before it was a much more casual vibe.

I know that the Cafe next door bought out what used to be a sort of market space? Then after that I stopped seeing the head chef at all. Then came the shutdown.

I hope they use a lot of the same recipes and especially keep similar prices. Although it could add up, it really was some of the most affordable of its kind in the city, and the ONLY place I could sate my picanha craving without trimming and cooking it myself.

To the two angels this morning who blessed us more than words could say. Because of your extreme generosity my little one is over the moon. This year has been hard to say the least and we had already talked about how this year wouldn’t be like years past. I’ve been doing everything I can just to get groceries so Christmas was on the back burner. My little one who 100% believes in Santa is convinced you were his helpers bringing an early Christmas and hasn’t stopped talking about it since we got home. It’s lifted stress off of me since now Santa isn’t expected to bring anything Christmas morning. Thank you isn’t enough but it’s all I can do. Hopefully you see this and I pray you are blessed 10x over.

I have an insurance claim in for my home (possible damage to roof during the heavy rains last week) but I need to find a roofer to get an inspection/estimate from for my insurance company. Yes, I shouldn't have to do this, they should, but they cannot find anyone in the area.

Any fully legit roofer recommendations? Not your brother, cousin or your kid that put a roof on your doghouse. A fully licensed and bonded roofer or roofing company. They need to work with my insurance company, so I need someone legit.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a gynecologist in the area? Health insurance is TriCare Select so we’re not really limited.

Sry for the potentially dumb question lol. I went to the new Safeway on Bruceville for the first time and was surprised by the brightness of the overhead lights. My eyes are super sensitive, so it might just be me. Wondering if anyone else noticed this?

All this rain is making the insects going nuts. We are seeing piles of dead "German" cockroaches around the perimeter of our house. Those are the worst kinds of roaches, the disease carrying one. So glad we had pest control company come out to spray just couple weeks ago.

I tried Orange Theory and while I enjoyed it, it's not within my budget. Looking for gym studios that offer cardio and strength group classes with morning (5AM-ish) and evening schedules (7PM-ish). Hopefully not more than $80/month with month-to-month contract.

Why do people go extra lengths to steal mail?

Are they looking for checks? I assume it’s such a small number of checks that are actually on paper. A lot of time it’s junk mail. Moved from the bay where they were extremely brazen.. now it’s happening here! Just honestly curious about what they are looking for.

On that note, everyone should get their mail everyday and sign up for informed delivery so you know if anything important is coming.
