i've been playing the game for months and i haven't beat it not because of difficulty, but because i keep making a new build. i've been playing on one specifically to finish the game, using the stuff i thought was cool. i was using moonveil/glinblade, but it got boring for me. i already used 2 silver tears for rebirth and i don't wanna keep doing that. but i saw a tiktok and i decided to make a basic build with basic talismans like green turtle and dragoncrest shield, no cheese or op weapons, just the basics i need to get the job done. i don't know what weapons to use but i like katanas and greatswords.
Does anyone know which armor sets/weapons/stats are good for making a faithful Jon Snow build? I've been obsessing over GOT lately and want to make a character based on him
This is probably going to be a very vague/subjective question, but here it goes. This is my first Souls game and I’m loving it so far. I love the open world and exploration aspect of it. My question is, which build would be the most fun to play?
I have a lvl 50ish Int build using a Meteorite staff and I also have a strength build around the same level using the claymore. Both are pretty fun in their own aspect mage goes pew pew and warrior goes bonk bonk. I’m just wondering if there is something that would be more fun to play other than running a pure stat build. Anyways, I’m open to suggestions of what builds I should/could try.
Any contributions welcome, my level is max for max amount of variety in builds
I have around 60 str 60 dex for my two handed quality milady. Which other weapons work well with these stats? (Minimal dlc weapons spoilers pls, I’m only on scadu Altus)
I’ve burned through quite a few Laval tears through the base game and start of dlc - spent most of it as a dragon communion build. I want to stick to these stats for a bit - I just don’t know the weapons!
This build will be for PvP/P/vE/Invasions
Level 150 build. Need at least 72 faith for light of miqula incantation
The thing I’m trying to figure out is if 76 faith is enough or do I need to be at 80? The difference in scaling is 337 to 353 is it worth going to 80?
56 vigor. 25 mind. 20 endurance. 20 strength. 13 dexterity. 9 intelligence. 79 faith. 7 arcane.
This is with the circlet of light increasing faith to 80. Milicents prostethis for 18 dex and the Erdtree favor 2 which I’m thinking is going to be necessary for this build anyways bc of the low endurance this will also bring my hp to 1907.
So it’s either 80 faith with 56 vigor or 60 vigor and 76 faith and I wanted to ask people’s opinions.
I’m wanting to be able to one hand marikas hammer omen cleaver and sword or damnation so I can still cast spells quickly and not needing to two hand the given weapon.
I finally tried a magic build for the first time with the intent to do a tank mage (heavy armor, high VIT/END). Originally I was gunning for the DMGS and my offhand staff as ranged, but after seeing some of the magic melee spells I'm wondering if I should forgo physical weapons entirely and do pure INT? Or is DMGS/INT melee weapon worth having?
using the great katana with flame spear for my first dlc run. i already use the 2h sword, 2headed turtle and dragoncrest greatshield talismans but im confused as to what to use for the 4th slot. dont really wanna go with shard of alexander as every single build uses it and i rely on my skill mostly for the fire buff. was considering maybe the lord of bloods exultation cuz i get atleast 1 bleed proc per boss fight or the axe talisman as i like using the charged heavy.
or should i keep it as a flex spot and change depending on situation?
appreciate the help!
Feel free to delete if not allowed, but I have to brag. I’m new to souls games and on my 2nd play through. I wanted to cap myself at 200 in NG+ to not be too OP. I finally beat Malenia after hours of trying and I’m pumped. My first time through, I used the blasphemous blade and thought it was tough. This time I did wing of Astel with the carian regal scepter and some spells, but it didn’t work so I added a bandits curved sword with crag blade. Full build attached.
I’ve beaten the Queen Bee and rebirthed to 40 vigor, min str and dex to use my bloodhound fang, and min faith arc to use the Bloodblade incantation. Feeling great and while I know it’s early game, I’m just wondering if at this point I should be spreading points between any specific stats over others. My gut tells me base damage is enough yo ignore dex for now and beefing up endurance and even a few to mind makes sense but wondering if that is a trap that many builds fall into an early game pre-100.
Hi, Is there anything like a double shield build. Preferably with a skill I can throw one or something like that
Hey friends,
I’m really bad at understanding builds, so yeah.
My first playthrough was purely strength-based.
For my second playthrough, I respec’d into a Blasphemous Blade build.
Now I want to try something new and fun. I have all the katanas (some of them twice) and Rellana's Twinblades. I really love the combination of fire and ice.
Any tips for a new build? Any YouTube recommendations?
I just got it at level 118 and im wondering which talismans i could use to max out its potential, could anyone please give me some recommendations
I'm building a guts build mainly focused on strength and endurance, can you recommend some talismans, I'm having trouble finding good talismans, so far I'm only using Radagon's Soreseal, can you help me?
Hello everyone! I’ve been playing Elden Ring for a while, but don’t really have much knowledge or understanding of how to put builds together. I was wondering if some could share their builds and how they work, and how to start experimenting with putting some together? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!
I want to make a frenzy build that looks like my character is crazy, and for that I want like a ragged armor set? Or something of the style, the point is that is looks like my character is crazy and lost to frenzy
can some one pls tell me how to make asmongold face pls is there a way or is some one did it before?
Just want build ideas for each run ima try and use a different type of build per run if possible

Hey guys,
What is the best OP build for the sword of Astel?
Thanks for any advice
I'm doing a blood boorene build using a catalyst the 3 shot crossbow and a grave scythe
Looking to deal damage, but not fat roll 🥲 I do like to use summons (mimic tear when needed)
