Rizz vrouwen versieren in Eindhoven

Good car tire dealer

Hey guys, I’m looking for a fresh pair of front tires for my car cause they’re worn out at the moment.

But I have no idea where to get those tires, their quality nor the dealer’s reputation.

Where do you guys usually buy tires? And how do you put them to the car (through the dealer or by yourself)?

Question about vestide housing

Hello everyone, I managed lately to secure housing via vestide in Lombokpad and i was wondering if I’m allowed to have visitors, my long distance girlfriend is planning to come and see me soon and I have been told by some colleagues who lived there that it is allowed but I am still skeptical 😅.

Online Tutor For Speaking Dutch

I would like to find an online tutor in the Brabant area to help me speak Dutch. I was using a tutor in the Groningen area but her pronunciation wasn't helpful to communicate locally. Currently between A2-B1 speaking level with B1 level comprehension.

Hoi allemaal,

Ik heb binnenkort mijn intake bij de psychologenpraktijk iPractice in Eindhoven. Misschien een long shot, maar ik vroeg me af of er mensen zijn die hier ook geweest zijn en hun ervaringen zouden willen delen?

Buyout Protection and Renting (to a flatmate)

Hi everybody,

I had a question about the scope of the buyout protection and whether I was eligible for applying for a renting permit. I've already sent a question form to the municipality but since there was no response yet, I thought I could get an answer here first.

My flat is buyout protected as the WOZ value when it was bought was less than 355k EUR, and I've stayed in it for almost 2.5 years now. A friend of mine has to move out from his flat, and is going to be staying with me for couple of months before we move cities for our masters. Obviously in that timeframe, he has to have a new address and the only way to do this I'm assuming would be to have him under an official rental contract.

Does anyone know if you are allowed to rent your flat (that is under buyout protection) to a friend, if you are also living in the property? Amsterdam municipality has explicitly stated in their regulation that it is allowed, but I didn't see the same clause in the Eindhoven one, so I wasn't sure.

Venting

Yesterday (Monday, January 27th), I was at Eindhoven Airport catching a flight to Varna in Bulgaria where I live.
I was on the WizzAir priority line, which was messy as usual. So my friend who was travelling with me and I approached a guy to ask what the correct line was since we were a bit lost. He told us that was the correct line, but it was messy (mildly small talk).

I don't know how to explain it, but our eyes locked a bit. And I think whatever it was, it was mutual. Pretty mutual.
He was gentle, and we talked a little. I noticed he looking at me and checking me out when I wasn't looking (we always know)... but I am stupidly shy, and I think because it's been a while since I actively flirted, so I guess I don't know how to give a clear indication that I am interested too.

The line finally moved, and he made a small joke and looked at me in a way that girl knows what it is. He seemed shy too. I laughed, and we got onto the plane (packed, fully booked). We didn't sit close :(
When the plane landed at Varna Airport (Bulgaria), I saw him standing a few seats ahead. I can say he looked back and looked for me, but the plane was incredibly full, and he didn't see me.

When I finally made it to the airport hall and exited (which took several minutes since I had to wait an extra amount of time for my friends. I was on a group trip), he had already left. At least I couldn't find him.

Anyway, I don't know why I am typing this story that happened last night, but blue coat guy with rounded glasses, grey hair and an amazing pair of eyes who caught the flight from Eindhoven Airport to Varna last night and was in the priority line... if you read this, I liked you too. I should have given a clear indication and retributed your smiles and looks. I am a shy person, and you looked shy, too.

Venting and wishing.

(probably this post will be deleted by me - once my blue feeling and thoughts fade away - or by the mods. If this post is not allowed I deeply apologise)

Moving from a house with registration to one without

Hi everyone,

I've been living in Eindhoven (actually Best) for the last few months, as I'm doing a study exchange at TU/e. I will soon be done with the exchange, but I'll stay here because I have found a job.

Obviously in order to work you need to be registered and have a BSN number. My situation would be like this: I'm currently living in a house which allows registration, and I'll register as soon as possible. I'm also looking to move to a cheaper, closer place, and I might have found one, but they do not allow to register. If I'm registered in a place, then move, am I still allowed to work, since I'd already have a BSN number, or must I register also in the new place, otherwise I'd not be able to work?

If I've not been clear, please let me know, I can explain better in the comment. I know it's kind of a weird, niche situation.

Thanks in advance!

I want to buy miniature drinks

I came to Eindhoven as a tourist. When I return, I want to take miniature drink(alcohol) with me to add to my collection. Can you recommend a place where I can find these? Additionally, maybe if there are drinks specific to Netherlands they will mean more to me. I can also get your suggestions outside the city if it is not too far away.

Scooter tried to make me fall from my bike in the bikelane

Hi all,

Today while I was biking from work in Eindhoven to my home in Geldrop, something very infuriating happened.

I was riding an ebike, going 25km/h. I was overtaking another bike, when a scooter started beeping behind me. After I finished the overtake, the scooter came next to me and started cursing me, and then proceeded to throw the scooter on me to try to make me fall. It hit my bike and I lost control for a sec, but luckily I was able to keep it controlled

I got shocked and didnt know what to do... The person who was biking behind me, which I had just overtaken, asked if I was ok and that that guy was "crazy", and for me not to worry because I was right and did nothing wrong.

Still, I still got that stuck in my head... Why would someone so that? I'm so mad at myself that I didn't think about trying to check his plate to report him to the police (although he was going very fast, don't know if I would have had the time)

I can't find a good car wash in Eindhoven

I can't seem to find a good car wash in Eindhoven.. I've tried all I can see on google maps.. but maybe I missed something or I'm just plain re****ed. I am here at uni and I come by car because it's cheaper. I tried to look on forums, but idk why nobody seems to complain about this.

Every car wash I tried has 2 issues: 1. soap is very diluted + it has a way shorter timer than the plain water and so it is not very effective. 2. There is barely any water pressure. The second one is more the big problem for me.

Idk why this is.. are they just greedy and want from you to spend a fortune cleaning a car or is it some Dutch law that prevents them to use more powerful streams of water?? In my home country, if you put your hand in front of the waterjet it literally takes your skin off after a couple seconds.. (I was born in Romania) this is super nice because i can stay really far away from my car and with only water all the grime will come off.. and then the soap just to ensure everything it's clean. But here, with water alone I can barely get bird poops from that day, let alone if I let the car sit outside for a week... and it's not like I have a show car or anything.. but for example I just made a really long trip on the highway with the asphalt wet.. and so my car was full of salt, debris and mud. I spent 14 euros and it is still not clean.. you can see dirt on the car and I don t want to imagine the underside of the car.. and this is after like 3 rounds of soap. Even if I get the pressure gun 0.5cm away from the car it still does not clean it and mud remains on the paint. I don t understand how this is possible..

It seems they want u to use that brush thing, but that scratches the s**t out of your car and even the automatic car washes do scratch the paint.. and in a couple of months the scratches will show, especially on black paint like I have.

And so, I am unable to clean my car here... I have tried ANAC car wash (in the winter they have a lot of problems with even getting water out of the nozzle, not even talking of how much pressure), there is a car wash on Broekakkerseweg 32 (but it's closed during the night and still low water pressure), car wash from AH on Limburglaan and one from Bayeuxlaan also have the same problem.

Also idk why people are ok with this.. I couldn't find people complaining about it here and it is really a weird thing.. in my home country we have a lot of quality self car washes and they are very cheap and people really seem to like using them (you can wash your car probably for 4 euros- if it's really dirty-, keeping in mind that an automatic car wash is as expensive as in NL - between 10-20 euros).

I am ready to go a little outside of the city (for example Best/Nuenen/Geldrop etc.) if that's what it takes to clean my car.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

EDIT 29/01/2025: Seem like Washing 7 is the best deal that I found yet. 7 euros/wash and 6 euros with top up bonus. Pressure is better, but not amazing. You pay for UNLIMITED TIME so you can stay and wash it until everything is clean. Thanks for the people that helped me!

Eindhoven to Nijmegen

What is the best way to commute to Nijmegen for work? I am a student studying in Eindhoven and I got an internship in a company in Nijmegen, I wanted to know if it's realistic to commute to work atleast 3 times a week from Eindhoven to Nijmegen by train. If not, should I start looking for housing in Nijmegen as well?

Looking for advice: best areas for families in/near Eindhoven

Hi everyone!

We are a family with two kids (ages 7 and 9) planning to move to Eindhoven soon. We’re currently living in Haarlem, so we’re not very familiar with the Eindhoven area yet. We know the rental market is quite competitive, but we’re trying to figure out which neighborhoods would be best for families with kids.

We’ve been checking out neighborhoods and noticed that Doornakkers seems to have quite a few families with kids. Does anyone have experience living there? Would you recommend it?

https://preview.redd.it/wl5mcx09gcfe1.png?width=1691&format=png&auto=webp&s=600e45fda79a63305c99648a72e9e910ad49c5a7

We’d also love suggestions for other family-friendly neighborhoods in or around Eindhoven. Good schools, safe play areas, and a nice community vibe are our top priorities. Any tips or insights would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance! 😊

Burnout

After discussing with my psychiatrist, I believe I am on the verge of a burnout and have been for some time. Not strictly because of work but also related to my personal life and general mental health status.

I have a stable career with good relationships with my colleagues and manager. My psychiatrist advised that I should raise this with my work before my condition deteriorates but what will happen? I want to approach this in an open way, I’m not worried about not being treated fairly. But when I say to my manager that I am having a burnout will this trigger any specific process? Obvs arbodienst and HR should be notified but what happens then? I would like for this to be the smallest burden possible on my team, not just here one day gone the next. But I would also like to know what will happen practically in order to help me recover?
