I think I have this, but want to double check. :)
So close, but yet so far I think itās Rameses, something to do with Ramesea - one of the Rameses - the bottom right hieroglyph is a heart not a face. This is off at Scarab bottom. Thanks for any assistance you may be able to offer and any ideas and on those two grains of sand, and the small basket, in relation to how it puts everything together would also be of interest to me as well thank you in advance.
Thought Iād start the process of sharing some of the beautiful hieroglyph examples I managed to snap on my visit this month. As you can see with the cartouche, this example comes from Tetiās Pyramid texts š
Hello everyone, apologies for my quick copy job off my scarab here out of the gate. Itās laid out like it is on the bottom of the scarab in the pic. I believe this is Horemheb/hab name saying but itās missing the pluralā¦the three dashes but there is a proverb in there as wellā¦ which says God and I believe itās a sky and a bun which means: Lord of the sky? In your expert opinion out there, why would they have missed the plural here? The dashes.. Itās on a scarab. ā¦ maybe that is that is why they took out the plural. or does the pronoun give up that it is plural and there is no need to add the 3 lines?
Maybe it isnāt even Horemhebās name/sayingā¦just a long proverb/saying something instead possibly, but having the Sun at the top really brings it in to being Horemheb.
Just very curious why there is no dashed lines (the plural) and if I have the proverb correct (pennant, bun and sky). Or is it something else l?
Thanks š in advance
Hi everyone! Friend of mine just got back from vacation in Egypt and now he claims that he saw some legit proof of ancient alien race capable of flying planes, helicopters and UFOs.
Can someone please help me identify the hieroglyphs in the picture? Thanks!
Recently, someone posted a tourist souvenir ring on this sub. It inspired me to post this: a solid gold ring, fresh out of the sand at a dig in the West Kingās Valley in 2018. Placed from the artifacts cleaning tray by none other than the dig director Dr Hawass on the finger of my friend Basia. She could not keep it though!!
