Hi.. I've just started playing, I've got an XBox controller but I just don't understand how to trigger the floating orbs of light. I've done one by chance but I've been dicking about trying to trigger the next one for about 10 minutes now, and I don't understand what I'm meant to do. When I google it, everyone else seems to be tilting their controller but that's not what the screen is telling me to do - it's highlighting the LT and RSB buttons. Could someone give me a clue please?

Lyrics to the choir in Aurora

Does anybody know what the words to the vocal portion of the soundtrack song Aurora are? I looked online and couldn't find it. Thanks in advance.

Clouds and Starlight

Started listening to the soundtrack. Just got to Clouds and Starlight, and now I'm crying at work. People already think I'm weird, and now this. Jeez.

Saving System

Greetings!

I have but one question for this sub about this game, at least for the time being...

How does saving work in this game?

That's (seemingly) all; thank you in advance.

PC Performance issues

My PC has Ryzen 7 5800X/RTX 3060 and can't get a stable framerate even at the lowest settings and 30fps cap. None of my other games have issues, including cyberpunk on high settings. I've played around with all the graphics settings and just can't get it to work. Won't even reach 30fps, constant major framerate drops. Nothing online I've seen seems to have a solution so this is my last resort. Any thoughts would be much appreciated (Steam version if that makes a difference) Thanks : )

Xbox?

Probably been asked before but i see there are PC releases and obviously Ps releases.

I played this game years ago on PlayStation but now I have an Xbox and would love to revisit the game, is there an Xbox version I have missed?

This game feels lost

So context, I originally played it way back at launch on PS4 and loved it.

Playing it again on pc and wow I am lost. Got to the end of Stephens chapter and there's no further guiding. Saw the train station scene and now, nothing. No guiding lights, just, aimless wandering trying to figure out what to do next.

Anyone able to remind me what I'm meant to do now?

EGTTR has a decent sale for the first time in years! I finally bought it.

https://isthereanydeal.com/game/everybodysgonetorapture/info/

The current best of 58-63% discount doesn't quite match the all-time best of 75% off from November 2017, but it's the first time in a long time there's been any discount more than 10%.

I've completed the game, and spent about 8 hours playing so far. Working my way through collecting the achievements now.

The game was everything I'd hoped for!

Operation Blue Star 6 June 1984

I played the game for my first time today (yeah im really late).

There is a recording in a treehouse during maybe the 1st or 2nd chapter that says that every computer and clocks have been stuck on 6 June 1984, so i was wondering what that date could be.

When googling the only event that showed up was the "Operation Blue Star" a weird Indian millitary operation. I haven't seen anyone talk about it here, so i was wondering if that made sense for someone, or it was just pure coincidence.

Also, close to this treehouse, there is a bench behind the house, with a book called "The voice of the stars", didn't saw that book in another place...

does anyone else have a newer rtx 3060?

im only getting about 18 fps and the game is unplayable. on my old video card the only time it chugged even a little was the beginning of wendys part. the really odd thing is that it says the gpu is only running 15% and cpu 25%. does anyone else have a 3060 (with the limited hash rate i assume) that can see if its happening to them? i was really looking forward to seeing egttr more better

So, I've been wondering...

I was watching Jacob Geller's video titled; "Why Do Horror Games Sound So Beautiful?" Where he talks about the "Safe Room" themes from certain games, and other beautiful pieces. In this review, he talks about the game "Everybody's Gone To the Rapture" and he talks about how beautiful the music is. The internet has all joined together and said that yes, this is a good soundtrack. But I want to know what song was the MOST beautiful. The MOST amazing. My question is:

What Is the Most Beautiful Song from Everybody's Gone To the Rapture?

Kinda disappointed...

Ok so I tried this game today for the first time and I'm pretty disappointed. The glowing orbs are a little frustrating to figure out. I spent 5 minutes trying to yank my mouse around trying to get it to work, and trust me it wasn't user error, I literally tried everything before it finally just decided it wanted to work. Lol.

Anyway, one of my pet peeves is when a game decides to overwhelm you with a wide open area to explore that just all of a sudden without warning will unlock a piece of the story out of order and you're like wait, wtf just happened, what did so-and-so just do to whom? I'm missing something in the story! Now I'm all lost and kerfuffled and pissed off and basically just quit the game because I'm a stickler for stories being ruined. For me it's akin to someone ruining the end of a book or a movie.

I know that there is the zipping blob of light that leads you around but it just zips around everywhere kind of mindlessly without being kind of linear itself I noticed. And also maybe multiples of them? Idk I didn't get but maybe an hour into it.

Either make your game linear for your story line, or don't just randomly unlock your story on people like that. It ruins the game. Let us choose when to unlock the story.

End rant. LOL
