I mean he beat 'em up kinda bad, but he still thought the kids still had beef with the Eds. And yet they didn't take any time to try to reason and explain to him that now they had accepted the Eds.

We usually feel bad for DD for having the other Eds, especially Eddy as friends, but when you really think about it, there’s nothing stopping him from unfriending Eddy, it’s not like there’s an evil witch that cursed him to never be able to leave the group, he’s bringing his reputation as an outcast on himself, you can’t feel bad for someone who can easily fix their problem by their self but choose not to, it’s a known fact that the other kids except him(and Ed too to a lesser extent) when he’s not around Eddy yet he still chooses to stay friends with them, so honestly shouldn’t we stop feeling bad for him, what’s your opinion on it ?

Earlier today I thought about anvils in cartoons and skimmed through an article about the history of this gag. I also browsed tv tropes, too. Anyway, it made me think of this scene.

I looked up internet archive to see if there were any, but I was having a lot of trouble. Either the episodes weren't there or they were very low quality. If anyone can find a website where I can watch these episodes for free, I would greatly appreciate it!

Some of the most satisfying moments of the show to me, even as a kid, were always the scenes where each of the Eds got angry and yelled at Sarah. From Eddy in Oath to an Ed, to Ed during Little Blue Ed, to Double D in Is There an Ed in the House. I always hated Sarah as a kid, and felt a lot of catharsis from each of those moments alone. Any others?

I've been watching a lot of Ed, Edd, n Eddy and Watcher (ghost hunting show on Youtube) so my brain merged the two. Think Scooby-Doo but with the Eds. Here is my mock comic cover for the idea.

In my concept this would take place a few years after the movie so they are about 16-17. They don't do "scams" anymore but Eddy is always looking for a get-rich-quick scheme so they start a youtube channel. After trying different types of content without any success, they try paranormal investigation. Here is how I see the dynamic between the Eds: Eddy: still the leader. With his knowledge of scams, he can tell whether or not the ghost/monster/urban legend is real. Edd (Double D): Researcher and inventor. He does the research and develops weapons/traps/whatever they need. Ed: The muscle. Obviously he still does the heavy lifting Noire (cat): Animal sidekick. Scooby-Doo is a loveable talking great dane so I thought a wise-cracking talking stray cat might fit nicely with the boys.

With all of us finding out in Every Which Way But Ed that Double D isn’t originally from Peach Creek, what would you imagine his old home being like ?

Ed is still the dimwit of the trio, but he's not nearly as stupid as he is later in the show. He's capable of forming coherent sentences. He's also capable of talking back to his sister, Sarah, and his friends. Later-series Ed is borderline-retarded, routinely blurts out these nonsensical non-sequiturs, and is a complete doormat who wouldn't hurt a fly (lol unless he gets a pebble stuck in his shoe).

Double-D is way more laid back and willing to go along with Eddy's schemes. Later-series Double-D is a neurotic neat freak and is constantly trying (emphasis on trying) to be the moral compass of the group. Double-D was also more of a creepy nerd in the early episodes.

And then there's Eddy.

I swear, this guy is a like a completely different character. He's shown to be the most socially adept of the three Eds and would often have to get Ed and Double-D under control. Later seasons would transplant this role to Double-D. Eddy is also capable of doing these rad things like fishing quarters out of sewers and building giant stink bombs. Later-series Eddy is just a noisy blowhard and a total failure at just about everything. Eddy can even be nice and treats his friends way better than he does later in the series. Compare the Eddy who rushed to Ed's rescue in Nagged to Ed (the episode that introduced The Kanker sisters) to the Eddy in the later seasons, an abusive, manipulative jerk who would have abandoned Ed without a second thought. Early-series Eddy is actually an okay guy when he's not fleecing the other kids. The Eddy in the later seasons is basically Eric Cartman Lite.
