Hi All!
Recently closed on a home in the area in my subject line and looking for recommendations on best internet service providers in the area. I work from home and video conferencing is a daily requirement.
So far my findings:
Are there any other solutions out there?
Hi!
My name is Janine and I'm a producer for a new cable series where we're looking for real Bigfoot stories.
I'd love to hear about your sightings, encounters, etc. The show we're making is a very serious and professional investigation series and it is in no way a joke. I'd be happy to talk to anyone personally in a DM if you'd rather not post it on the thread. I'd eventually also chat with you folks on the phone to maybe see if your encounter could be a great fit for the series! Because of the journalistic and documentarian nature we're taking with the show, we technically can't offer any monetary compensation in case it affects the integrity of the story. That being said, though, we will reimburse for any travel or expenses that may happen if we'd like to have you telling your story in the show. I just want great stories and can work out all other details so everybody is happy/feels safe sharing!
Let me know any questions you have. Thanks in advance.
Janine
I don't know exactly what I'm asking here, but one of the biggest problems in my life is I don't do anything that scares me, or puts me in discomfort. I want to experience things others are passionate about.
Do you love your life? Do you have a hobby you love? Do you have a unique life?
Invite me over, show me.. I want to experience it. This is for a film project as I document myself getting out of this mental funk.
Let's make something happen.
My husband got a job at INL and we'll be moving into the area next month. I'm a little overwhelmed with everything we need to figure out in this short amount of time. If anyone had any pointers I'd love some advice.
We're buying our first house (yay!) but can't be approved for a loan until we have a few paychecks to show them (boo!). So we need to find temporary housing for that awkward in between time. Preferably not too expensive so we can save as much as possible for our down payment.
We're looking for an awesome realtor that services both IF and Pocatello. We haven't decided which city we want to live in, and st this point we're pretty much going to just go with whichever one we find our perfect house in.
On that note, IF or Pocatello? What are the pros and cons?
Do people carpool to the INL bus stops? We only have one car and I would love to be able to have it during the day.
I feel like I had more questions but can't think of them atm.
Was in a minor accident (rear ended someone) and now my hood won't close all the way. Any recommendations on body shops in town?

My girlfriend and I lost contact with our friend in Seattle. Last we heard, she's homeless now. We found out that she was spotted in Boise, Idaho last week near the Shilo on Broadway. Reddish/pinkish cap, dark colored hoodie, tarnish colored boots.
Here is a picture of her: http://imgur.com/a/iUtWf
If you have seen her, please private message us and we'll give you some contact information.
According to Reddit rules, we're not allowed to post personal information about her, but if you are interested in helping, please private msg us and we'll tell you the details.
EDIT: If anyone wants to help out, we've made a missing poster for her. You can hang it up around town or even sharing it on facebook would be a great help. Private msg us for a link.
The Idaho Falls Civitans throw a great Alive After Five every Wednesday evening in downtown Idaho Falls. It’s held at The Civitan Plaza on the corner of Park Ave and ‘B’ Street.
Compassionate Idaho will be out there with a table set up (hopefully inside the area this week, if not look for us close by). We’ll be collecting signatures, helping those that need to register to vote, and happily accepting donations.
So if you’re in the area please stop by to say ‘HIGH’. We’d love to share our vision with you. And we’re always looking for more volunteers.
We look forward to seeing you there.

Anyone into Starcraft2? this weekend the sweedish tournament Dreamhack will be taking place and I was wondering if anyone knew of any bars in the ID/Pokie area that would let us watch the broadcast and drink a beer and just have a good time with a "E-Sport" we enjoy.
I'm more then willing to help setup and run the meetup. I will also offer my tower if need be. I'm just gauging for intrest and to see if there are any nerd baller bars that would let us do this.
Post here to see if we have enough people to have one. I'm thinking saturday September 4th. Any ideas?
So I get to move from good old boise to IF in a week or two. I've barely been to IF and am not sure what to expect. Can anyone fill me in on the place? any advice?
