Longtime RPer here. Played D&D for years, and ESO has been my go-to during quarantine (and really enjoying the game).

I play on PS4, and I'm looking for other players who RP and invest in their characters: aesthetics, name, backstory, goals, etc...

I enjoy taking my time with the game, and don't want to rush around the world, but instead create our own stories and adventures in the game world.

Ideally, if we could get a full party of 4 together, that would be great -- but I'm open to different adventures with various people.

I'm still somewhat new. I have a Nightblade at level 48 (not my favourite character) -- and just restarted with a Templar DPS who I've gotten to level 20 so far. If you're interested in creating a story together, drop me a line.

Chapter I: The Privateers

Pirate Haven is a new endeavour to spark an engaging and active pirate community on the ESO NA server. We are a heavy RP guild with plot-based development.

We are starting off as a group of privateers that have come from desperate situations, whose personal problems and pitfalls have led them to their last resort: join this unsavoury endeavour or sink! The unsavoury endeavour in question consists of taking up suicidal missions the Daggerfall Covenant deems either too dangerous or too immoral for its troops, but missions that must be undertaken nonetheless.

There is little pay. There is no glory, no dental coverage, nor retirement plan. Every trip may be the last. However, the Daggerfall Covenant promises to clear all debt and void every privateer's criminal record upon completion of the one-year contract! For that reason, please consider: what dead-end situation has your character ended up in to join this crew of hopeless desperados? How have they hit rock bottom? Why is it their last resort?

Im looking for more people to play with my buddies have kinda stepped away from eso. And i like the rp of the game personally. I was hoping to find some people who are willing to play with meh lol or give me some tips on how to find some others to play with.

I hope this question is not inappropriate for this sub.

But I'd love to find an ESO RP guild that welcomes and encourages ERP among its members. I've found some that tolerate it as long as it's discreetly never mentioned, but I'm hoping to find one that's more open about its focus.

Also, being a gay male IRL, I'd very strongly prefer one where LGBTQ erotic content is fine. I've sometimes run into some surprising homophobia among RP communities in other games (allthough to be fair, I haven't encountered it in ESO--one of the reasons I love this game).

BACKGROUND (From Sweden.) I've been playing ESO on and off (more on) since the BETA. At first I played and on the EU server up until around the release of Orsinium. Been on NA ever since. There were two main reasons for my migration; I worked night shifts which better synced up with non-EU players and I had for a while felt that community had thinned or segregated leading to just less RP in general. Found a lot of fun on NA too and when I switched back to day shifts this didn't impact the amount of RP I found or attended.

For the last ~18 months I've struggled to roleplay. Both locating it or attending events, but also performing the act. Most scenarios I've encountered during that time (not hosted by myself) have been shallow and casual hangouts in various taverns that sadly led to no other platonic adventures. To add on that I've suffered from occupational burnout with severe sleeping disruptions for the last ~9 months which restricts the hours I can allow myself to play somewhat but mostly the mental exhaustion just made it hard to stay focused on a swiftly scrolling chatbox or any scenario for a longer period of time. I'm feeling better now and don't expect it to be as hard as it was a few months ago but still expect to have to stick to shorter (under 4 hours) sessions.

TL;DR - Avid ESO RPer wanna get back into the game after some time of lackluster RP and mental fatigue. Tips appreciated.
