I'm attempting a pretty complicated cosplay, where I'm going to be doing a lot of leather work and tooling with actual leather that goes over a custom long jacket.
Unfortunately my usual seamstress is not able to help this time, and I'm in need of someone who sews in the south king area willing to take a commission for the jacket part. Some of the patterning has already been worked out (bodice) but we still need to do the arms, the bottom of it, the collar. Primary fabric will likely be something like bull denim.
Anyone know anyone who might be interested?
Denise Richards, Casper Van Dien, Michael Ironside, and Dina Meyer will also be at C2E2 next year - full announcement
I’m planing in going to Sakura Con for my second year but haven’t been to emerald city’s Comic-Con at all and was wondering if it’s worth the money to go for a few days?
Hey folks! First time attendee and I'm curious, has anyone used to payment plan option for their tickets? If so, do you know if it is credit based, etc? Have a friend wanting to try for it but their credit maybe isn't ideal.
I will be buying my tickets later this week and will share my findings if need be. :)
I met this mom/daughter duo in 2012 and DREAMED of doing this with my mom. She’s the biggest starwars fan and remembers meeting these ladies with me but says she doesn’t want to go. I thought it would be fun to contact them and help convince her LOL.
I attended the Anime Washington in Spokane last weekend and I was wondering if any of the other attendees could share videos and photos of the Hazbin Hotel panel that happened on Sunday, September 15th at 3:30pm. Videos/Pictures were allowed, I was just in the back so I could not see/record anything.
I was also wondering if anyone who went to the con recognizes/could tell me the name of the artists specifically selling Hazbin Hotel or Helluva Boss merch. The day was so busy and I forgot to ask artists for their business cards.
Please let me know if this Sub is not the right place for this post. I know that Sakura con is one of the biggest conventions in Washington, so I thought there might be some overlap between attendees and artists.
Thank you!
Learned about this podcast this last year at ECCC. My brothers and sisters in nerd life: don’t miss out on this one. A really awesome game play podcast using a pseudo-horror themed RPG rule set from Vaesen in the setting of Seattle’s history. Totally addicted now.
I marked my calendar for when tickets for ECC opened up on on August 22nd and have been trying to buy tickets ever since.
At first I just thought the site was overwhelmed or something. I've tried like 10 times and when I submit the credit card form the page just refreshes. I've tried this on multiple devices, on my desktop, with 3 different payment methods. Every single time it just refreshes the page and the complete order button disappears and the transaction never goes through. Is this happening to others?
Hey yall! I need some help finding this artist! Recently was looking at it and decided really needed more of these shark prints. The issue? There’s no artist signature on it and none of the business cards that were collected were for this artist.
I’m hoping someone else has gotten this or similar art from this artist! Almost positive they had a hammerhead one and some other sharks too. This was from last years ECCC (2023).
Tried reverse google image search and turned up with nothing. Also there’s no archive system for the artist alley on the ECCC website. I’ll continue my hunt but any help is appreciated!! 🫡
I just saw the NYCC list of guests, and it would be insane if we got the Fallout cast and the RDR2 cast of voice actors! Who are you wanting to see come next year?
I want to do a Deadpool cosplay but I’m not sure if bringing a prop gun is allowed or not, I did see a few that had somewhat realistic guns with orange tips. Though I found this one on Amazon and was wonder if I would be able to bring this, another person also used it in the reviews for cosplays
I haven’t seen any emails for 2024 VIP buyers to log in tomorrow to purchase for 2025.
Originally I was going to buy the VIP Celeb for the fast past autographs/photo ops but now that the membership includes this, can I just buy a regular 4 day pass and still get the perks?
I’ve never been to ECCC before or dealt with a separate membership for con related perks so I wanna make sure! I appreciate the help!
I tried doing a reverse Google image search but I couldn't figure it out. I wanted to find their social media page or website. I liked how it reminded me of Winsor McKay, or Mutts.
I want to make a staff out of PVC piping for a cosplay that I also plan on using as a replacement for my cane that day, but idk if it's allowed and I don't want to buy the materials just to find out I can't use them 😭
What's that? You're in the Pacific Northwest and you want a chance to meet Anson Mount, Ethan Peck, Celia Rose Gooding, and Melissa Navia? You're in luck, because all four are headed to ECCC 2025 next March. More details here:

Hi all!
I figured this might be the best place to ask a few questions to confirm some guidelines whole applying for space at ECCC.
I'm an artist out of eugene who wants to apply for space in 2025, and my main products are handmade sculptures, jewelry charms, with a few prints, stickers, and buttons of my 2D art as well.
However I'm noticing the verbiage in the form to apply for AA seems to imply that it's only for 2 dimensional artists and that any 3D artists would need to apply for exhibitor space. Is this true or am I misunderstanding this?
Any help on where to apply would be super appreciated! 💚 Thanks!
Does anyone know what the top age for children for kids tickets is? I can't seem to find it on the website.
We bought this last year but dont recall the nameof the artist. Tried reverse search and everything tp try and find the artist. Not seeing a list for artist alley from 2024 to go through names. Signature looks like it starts with a D?
I have art prints and stickers, but I forgot to grab a business card. The art was mainly cartoony ducks, drawn in an inked style that is similar to the Mutts newspaper comic, or even sort of Winsor McCay.
I got a couple of adorable pet portraits from Katie Cook this year at ECCC and FINALLY made it to a store to find frames for them. When I showed the clerk what I was trying to frame, she immediately recognized the art and asked if I had lost another one.
It turns out, someone had dropped their portrait at the store months ago, and it's been sitting at the lost and found ever since!
I know I'd be devastated if I lost my kitty portraits, so I'd love to get this kitty home to its owner.
There was an artist who was selling enamel pins of different vocaloid songs, I think I remember one being Heat Haze Daze and another Rolling Girl. Even if you don't know them if someone has a list of who was at what table (preferably using their online names), and a map that'd be great!
