Over the years since discovering it, it's been my favorite type of music. The atmosphere, mood, and textures it can create are things you can't get anywhere else. Despite what a lot of people think, the genre can be pretty varied (even nowadays) if you open your eyes to what Dub Techno can be. I've found some house-y style Dub Techno, garagey stuff, experimental stuff (Topdown Dialectic, SW., early-mid Vladislav Delay, etc). Honestly, there's nothing really like it elsewhere. But I still will say, of course, the Chain Reaction catalogue along with Rod Modell and a few others on ~scape (Jelinek, Pole,), Deadbeat, Shinichi Atobe, and some other names are of course still 'the best'. But there are some tracks that come along that can be just as good if not used in different directions that Chain Reaction never went.
I love how most of the tracks are long with gradual progression adding in small elements, or even sometimes a simple loop can be the best thing ever if done right. Groovy underwater beats, or maybe even transcendental ambient dub pieces, or textured dub leaning like Deadbeat. Honestly, it's like the perfect genre for me, ever since finding out about 'The Field' and 'GAS' (which aren't quite Dub Techno, but what fans of it will probably enjoy), i've become quite addicted to loopy tracks. It puts me in a state of tranquility.
But there is definitely a lot of stuff that is just churned quickly out because it can, so you have to search for the good stuff. I do still feel like a lot of artists rely on the basic elements too much without straying from the path. This is what makes Rod Modell stand out, field recordings. But there is still a lot of great stuff.
There are tracks like these that use Dub Techno elements in awesome ways as well: Zzzra - Fatigue Par Induction
A new year, a new album! Finally finished this new album, hope you'll enjoy!
Happy NYE! Hope you enjoy this one.
I know, I know, Spotify bad. But I do think it's easiest to share for something like this. I just want others to find some new music.

Edit: I have cut this down quite a bit and added some new stuff.
P.S: Buy on Bandcamp if you like it that much (I do). There's definitely more dub techno on Bandcamp.
There are lots of Techno classics here, The Field, Loop Finding Jazz Records, GAS, Vladislav Delay, Deepchord, Monolake's Hongkong, Pole, Fluxion, Basic Channel, etc. But also some new stuff, and always trying to find something that stands out.
Aside from all the obvious classics, my highest recommendations would be:
I do think, aside from the classics, everything here is pretty darn good stuff. Maybe not completely innovative, but they still stand out among the rest.
Let me know if there any other oddities I could add.
