Just finished Way Down We Go… it was so freaking good!!! Loved the characterization so much, the banter was so witty and the plot was executed so well!

I read Big Black Sky which wasn’t as good as this but also had Draco in trouble/ Harry being protective later on. I haven’t read any Galla fics but I’m thinking of The bucket list

I would prefer little to no smut but if there is any Harry is the dominant one that’s my only dealbreaker

How do you guys keep track of all the fics you’ve read? I have a list of them all but I’m horrible with fic names and can’t remember what plot goes with what name so I have to open them all to find what I’m looking for

I mean it as that the first time it happens, it's a big moment that leads to their first kiss or is just generally a big deal. Like calling the other by their first name during a heated confession or during a dangerous situation. I hope that makes sense.

It's just a big trope of theirs I thoroughly enjoy. Preferably it ends happy and does not have any dark themes (suicide/major character death/etc.)

okay so i only remember that draco loved in america and he worked in a muggle school where he helped like people who were seen as a threat/had mental health issues. i remember one of the boys was called evan and one was called augustus. SPOILERS: i remember evan suicided and draco initially was put as evan's teacher because they found a note saying he wanted to kill the whole school. he also was bonded to harry in this book where he would talk to harry in his dreams and harry was a jerk at first. after evan died, draco was in his dream crying to harry and then the bond broke?? harry turned up the next day in america and thats all i remember

Has anyone read the fic where Harry is awkward about sex and he physically can’t even though he wants to. I think theres a scene where Harry’s current boyfriend takes advantage of him for it, and they break up. And then Draco comes into the plot, and helps him with it. I was thinking what if they were still enemies but in yule party harry goes to draco and asks to dance with him , cuz they both know that this might be the last time they can be civil and after that year they will participate in war whether they like it or not. Also harry don't wanna have any regrets since he thinks he wouldn't be surviving the war. And convince draco somehow. They dance. It's awkward at first but since they decide to not be jerks to each other tonight they act civil and surprise how good to just talk to each other while dancing of course. And everyone around them shocked by how they look so happy together how they look right and everyone in the party decides to leave them be. All the fifth years knew the tension between them and all of them just accepeted and just go with it. No weird stares, no whispers. Just them being the teens they should have been. And after that they the continued they usual routine with name callings and stuff. But now everyone around them just sad about what happened, they understand why they acting like that too but just can't help feeling guilty and sad.

So I'm rewatching this movie from years ago, The mummy returns, if you know you know, Brendan Fraser being a badass, anyways he has this kid and he gets kidnapped but he is so confident in his parents(the mom also a badass) that he is just smug and such a little sh*t to his captors, and my mind just went like I could totally see this being Scorpius.

like if someone tries to get him for revenge on harry or maybe for blackmail or something like that he would be like: ohh you are gonna regret this, I mean do you even know who my parents are, the effing savior and a former death eater, you are as good as dead lol

Harry is a P.I and his office is somewhere underground and is so private. Draco comes to him to find his missing bf. I don't remember much but there's a scene where Harry sees a picture of Draco with his bfs arm around his neck. then later in the story Harry does the same thing to Draco knowing that he's into it. And also Harry knows Lucius, and that Draco is Lucius son but Draco doesn't know that Harry is familiar with his dad. pls pls pls help me find this fic.

Can you all rec me some fics with Harry/Draco putting Hermione in her place? ALOT of the fics I read she irritates me in most of the fics I read. Constantly bossing Harry around, or being a general know-it-all. I love fics where Draco is actually smarter than her.

I'm looking for a soulmate fic where they knew about the bond before 4th year. Draco was extremely anxious when it came to Harry's safety. I remember when Dumbledore told Harry he was a Horcux, Draco even needed a paper bag to calm himself down. They did research to find a way to save Harry instead of him being killed by Voldemort.

I just wanted to quickly post a recommendation for In Over My Head by greenisthecolour. I've seen several requests on this subreddit recently for Hogwarts era fics and pining Harry fics and this story definitely delivers. Premise: Draco is three years older than Harry. By the time they first meet, Draco is striving to be his own person and no longer believes in blood prejudice. Harry instantly gets a massive crush on Draco.

Harry pines for Draco so hard in this story. It's really adorable, especially when he's younger. I laughed out loud so many times at the antics he gets up to in order to get Draco's attention. Draco is extremely protective from the very start and dotes on Harry like it's his purpose on this earth.

There's some angst- I'd say a canon typical amount.

I hope I have convicted some of you to read this and that you enjoy it as much as I did!

Looking for something in the 60-120k (ish) range, something with character development and a solid plot but not too long most importantly WELL WRITTEN. My favorite type of drarry fics:

• angst—> domestic is the best pipeline
• some sort of hate kiss/sex and refusal of feelings
• anything where they’re on the run & draco comes with
• love lots of traveling
• one bed trope
• slight slow burn, they don’t get together too quickly but also it doesn’t take the whole fic to get together.

it doesn’t have to be one of these these are just the kinds i like. Most importantly though it has to be well written.

Hi! I'm looking for fics where the whole "coming out" and "sexual discovery" thing isn't in focus of the story, and where they are truly starting out as enemies and the bickering doesn't die down and their relationship doesn't happen easily.

I've been searching for a fic for the longest time, would really appreciate if somebody knows which fic this is:

- Draco started a business where he goes to people's homes to banish spirits. From what I remember, he has a female employee;

- Harry has multiple spirits haunting Grimmauld place, so he hired Draco;

- Draco sees a counsellor / psychiatrist (not sure which one) on a regular basis.
