I honestly don't see too many concrete changes that will lead to better content, but time will tell. The proposal to move to Arbitrum was not really explained nor are there any metrics of success being applied nor any reasoning for why Arbitrum would be a better home for $DONUTs. Also noted that DONUTs still will need to be minted on L1 and transferred to Arbitrum, and distributions both for DONUT and CONTRIB will go up 10x from something under $.01/tx to $.10/tx.

Right now DONUT price is on the rise with significant speculative accumulation going on.

voting clearly is driven by OG whales aminok and carlslarson each with roughly 5M of voting power. Without one of them voting proposals usually don't make quorum and fail. There was a proposal discussed to limit voting power, but I think many people didn't think this would help and could expose governance to other hazards/attacks.

There are various new initiatives by folks like Friendly-Airlines - to make a constitution - to create user tier levels based on CONTRIB they hold, etc. Will have to see what happens.

My take on DONUT market cap, trading etc. Moons, Bricks, etc. trade with higher caps but much lower liquidity and in all of these cases - the actual USE case is highly limited and not overwhelming really. There is a very high risk two people could drive through a governance proposal that either heavily dilutes, or causes significant price disruptions for other reasons.

For now enjoy the price rise.

Personally just selling most of my DONUT LP rewards on GNOSIS and accumulating them on ETH. Band trading somewhat. accumulate sub .01 selling trading positions .012 and above.

Most recent large sell was 857K DONUTs on L1 (wallet still holds 300K) for slight ETH loss of about .4ETH on the total.

ok so im not sure when the last airdrop was but i have not recieved any Donuts ever and my metamask eth address is linked to ethtrader. Also i didnt have access to the nft that was available. not sure if i did something wrong. Ive also checked explorer on xdai and nothing there either. any help is appreciated.

Should have gotten Donuts on the last drop, but cannot claim on Aragon. it won't sync Donuts as a token. anyone else have this problem? any help would be great!!! I am proud to be an ethtrader contributor, but am getting soured that I cannot get my Donuts for it.

1. UniSwap cleaned their default Token list. If we want DONUT to be in the default Token List of UniSwap we should file an issue on Github and upvote it!

I was thinking today about an update to donut/contrib issuance that would increase demand/buy pressure of donuts. I am no finance expert by any means so feel free to criticize or tell me why this wouldn't be a good idea:

The current system rewards you with an equal amount of Donuts and Contrib and the donut balance must equal the non tradable Contrib balance to give you your full voting weight. What if we increased the contrib rewards x2? That way to achieve your full voting weight you would have to market buy more donuts.

In the current system your activity on the sub will give you your full voting weight without any buy pressure. Users/contributors don't have to buy donuts at all to make changes/vote about decisions on our sub. And the shit posters just out to earn money will sell every month without caring about voting, subing, buying the banner. This combination doesn't sound good for positive price action.

Why do we need donut price to be high? The higher the price of donuts, the more incentive to participate in our sub. The higher quality posts and submissions (hopefully) It would also give our ethtrader dev fund more opportunity's to do cool stuff. I personally funded a Gods Unchained tournament with donut profit a couple months back. Gaining us to our first official sponsorship? (could be wrong about that)

To further brainstorm, we could also set a requirement of being a paid member of the sub to have your upvote affect donut issuance. This would crack down on the bot upvote farms that i have no doubt are in action. Further decreasing the un-natural (bot) sell pressure. Could also require being a paid member to earn donuts from upvotes in the first place?
