Every time I order a pizza from Dominos and order extra of something on it it’s always inferior to just getting it as is. Whether it be extra cheese, sauce, or a particular topping, I always feel as though it’s never truly superior to an “as is” pizza. Take for example a regular pepperoni pie, Extra cheese isn’t even extra as they just put less underneath and a smidge more on top so it ends up looking like a regular cheese pie anyway, extra sauce is nice sometimes but it sometimes gets under cheesed, and extra pepperoni is honestly just too much as it throws off the balance of the other ingredients tastes. Anyone else have this same way of thinking? I’ve been eating dominos for over 5 years straight at least once a week and some of the best pies I’ve ever eaten are as is pepperoni ones truly.
I'll let you know how it tastes. Wish me luck 🙏
For me they’re a 10/10 straight out the oven. Can never find anything even close besides the lava cakes as well!
the sauce just completely ruins the Caesar’s pizza, even the cheese is just , ugh. There was nothing good besides the breadsticks that we all tried. I don’t understand how someone can call dominos trash , how does that place stay in business 😂
My boyfriend has worked for Domino's for a few years. He started out as a driver and things were good, but then the manager practically begged him to become a shift lead and even though he showed his disinterest several times she coaxed him into it with a bunch of promises that just turned out empty. Her husband works as a shift lead as well, and she now gives him (her husband) all the driving shifts as well as over time while my boyfriends hours have been cut drastically because "corporate doesn't allow anyone more than 25 hours" and she tells him she is not allowed to give shift leads driving shifts when he asks for them. He has been faithful and has done absolutely nothing wrong to deserve this.
Our income has fallen drastically during to this, and our rent has went up because of his "promotion" We're currently on the verge of losing our home now and I don't know what to even do anymore.
I keep threatening to call corporate over it, but he won't let me because he does not want any drama, which I do understand but I don't believe this is acceptable behavior, is it?
I'm in the US and get paid $9.50 an hour with a maximum of 12 hours a week. I'm curious to see the pay difference.
EDIT ****I will call on Monday during non busy time. I just noticed when I tried to set up my order on my computer and carside was no longer an option. Looks like my franchise did opt out. Thank you all.*****
The two nearest Dominos to me have stopped car side delivery. I loved that because I can't walk and dragging a wheelchair around to just have to go inside to p/u pizza was overkill. Is the company removing this service? I am pretty sure it was a COVID response to do car side but keeping it going was convenient for me at least.
My store was doing very little in sales after opening up. People were coming into my store a year or two after opening asking “when did this store open?” The owners didn’t spend a dime on marketing. During a meeting, one of the two franchisees actually laughed when asked how much money he’s spent on marketing. My DM actually encouraged me to use my own money if I wanted to do any sort of marketing, and I was so desperate, I bought things like flyers and beach balls, yard signs and pens. I didn’t hundreds upon hundreds of my own dollars on marketing products because my bosses wouldn’t.
Because of those dollars, I’d go up on boost weeks. I actually made record sales during a 50% off week because of the yard signs and Facebook ads. But normal weeks would still be pretty low.
Anyway, as a result of the normal weeks, my bosses fired me after tricking me into training my own replacement. They paid peanuts. GMs made about 650 a week and had to work 45 hours a week, meaning we only made about $14/hr.
Anyway, that was 6 months ago. I have a better job now, better hours, better pay, and I like all my coworkers which is rare and so valuable. I’m just very bitter about being let go for something that wasn’t in my control and honestly I still miss Domino’s. It was 15 years of my life.
Ok I might be missing it but does the webpage/app actually let you put a tip in anywhere?! It even says "If you're feeling generous, consider a tip!" Ok, but you don't give me anywhere to put one in!
made a marble cookie brownie last night and did two passes with the cinnamon . god tier .
Well done pan pizza, pepperoni and jalapeños. Delivery. Cheese is completely sliding off the pieces. Tastes great as always but I’m just wondering what happened.
Hi there. I live in the northwest of the UK, and the Dominos here used to sell double/dark chocolate caramel versions of the cookies. And they are soooooooo good. I haven't bought any in a while, and when I went to go get my favourite Dominos meal, I saw the caramel cookies have been removed 😢. Is there any way I can request for them to be re-added to the menu? Or could you tell me when they will be available to buy again? Or could you tell me which Domino locations still sell them? Please 🙏. They were so amazingly good.
The people in store told be it was a limited time item.
Will it be back next summer/autumn?
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: I recently finished a diet and I hadn't had them in a while so finding them gone was quite dissapointing and I overreacted.
Anyone else get this from the Domino's delivery app? I'm not even clocked in, so why is it accessing my location?
Why send an email reminder this morning when I can’t even use it? Rude.
I’ve just ordered a Domino’s for delivery and intend to leave a tip for the driver, but I’ve realised I don’t have any change on me! I’ve looked on their website and app and can’t for the life of me find an option to leave a tip (pre- or post-order). Can anyone advise? Just don’t want to come across as rude or ungrateful by not having any cash on me!
My soon to be 6 year old daughter is OBSESSED with Domino's Pizza. Like, I have never seen a human being get so excited when they find out they are having Domino's for dinner. She will eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
So we want to throw her a Domino's Themed Birthday Party. What kind of decorations and activities can we do? Obviously, we will be eating Domino's Pizza. But what else can we do?
man i love dominos. less cheese extra sauce is the move btw
Do you rea
Hi, first time posting but I've got a query that's bugging me. I ordered pizza last night online for delivery. I live in Bedford, UK. And within record time I'm getting called from a Belfast landline number. I was reluctant to answer at first but I did and it was the delivery driver outside looking for my address.. so my question is why is the delivery driver using a belfast landline number to phone me from?!? What's that all about?
So there is a store near me that if you go into the app while it’s closed, it has a long list of possibly all coupons they could offer but once they open most go away. What would happen if I ordered a later pizza with those coupons especially the xl pizza cause you can’t even order that through the menu normally?
I resigned from one Domino's in the UK and moved to another franchise as a driver, due to bad pay, management, etc.
Now when I handed in my notice, I was told that if I don't work the 1 week that I gave my notice in, my pay for the entirety of November might not get pay rolled and paid to me.
I'm on a zero hour contract - so I don't have to legally work any hours they give me.
I rang in sick yesterday, the manager answered and told me to stop lying and to stop messing around during the busy weekend, and that my sister said I wasn't ill (my sister works there too, and didn't even see the manager at all last week, and said she didn't tell anyone I'm not ill)
What happens if I just no show on this weekend? Is it legal for them to take pay away from me, and if they do, what do I do?
Anyone heard of the movement from corporate to get rid of the insider position and move to just drivers and managers?
Why do people order so much pizza the day after Thanksgiving? I understand not everyone celebrates the holiday and stuff like that, but wouldn't you have leftovers to eat after Thanksgiving instead of ordering 6 mediums the day after Thanksgiving??
