I'm sure you're all so sick of me, but I just found out about this 30 min ago and got so excited. Mooch's fans need to know to keep an eye out for him!!
He gets all brand new gear soon, I'm so excited, we are going with a black and blue style! 💙 (Black vest, blue patches)
He tends to bark when he doesn’t want to stay in one place for a long period of time, which of course is not ok😅
Public access training continues as Shaka joins me for a meeting. She behaved beautifully once again!!
I’m over 50% deaf and my 6 year old service dog alerts me of goings on. I’d like to get my 4 month puppy on the road to being a emotional support dog. Any tips?
Here’s a photo of Inca from when I graduated from Kent State. She wore a cap too.
I adopted a retired Explosive Detection Working Dog from AM-K9 two years ago. Her name is Calypso, and she’s an 8 1/2-year-old German Shepherd. She’s been an amazing companion, and I’m curious to learn more about her past and connect with her previous handlers.
Does anyone know of a way to find or contact her former handlers? Any advice or resources would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
I am trying to train my German shepherd to shed hunt. He is great at scent work. And he is great at finding sheds. I cannot for the life of me get him to pick the antler up and bring it to me. I taught him with scent work to sit down as his mark. I am a novice trainer, so I’m looking for some help on how to teach a retrieve I guess. I know he’s not a retriever. But he loves the woods and loves scent work.
Public Access training today included casting a ballot. She behaved perfectly.
A few weeks ago my service dog and I went to an anime convention and she was amazing! (Pic is from a windy day 3 of the convention so please be kind if you make any comments about my appearance!) Any other other SD/AD handlers ever take their working dogs to a convention?
