Hello,
I am new to divination and was wondering if yall ever have says your tools just aren’t working for you? My rods and pendulum won’t respond and I don’t know if it’s because my energy is extremely low this week or what. Do yall have any advice on what I can do?
Hi, I'm new to divination. I have my own dice system and I would like to do readings for others. I've only read for myself and my wife. I am currently searching for groups in my area that I can share my beliefs with, but honestly... I am also a trades person with Christian family so, really there's no one in my life that would support this (except my wife, bless her heart).
So my question is, while I am currently looking for a group, what are some good ways to get some real experience?
Thanks!
Hey I am a newbie here. Doing research on non-sectarian spiritual practices. I have no pre-existing prejudices against the community, since I genuinely believe in the power of the divination.
Wanted people here to tell me three things -
Why do you believe in this? What inspired/ encouraged you?
Are you a believer of any organised religion (Hinduism, Christianity, Islam, etc)? (If "no", why do you believe in divination practices like tarot cards more than an actual religion?} {If "yes", do the religious beliefs go hand in hand with your these practices?}
Did COVID-19 play a role in encouraging you to join this community (this is a personal question as I came across palmistry during the lockdown)?
any advice regarding aqquirement?
TAROT OF THE WEEK: Week of 12/1/2024
TAROT CARD: The Queen of Pentacles
Qualities: Nurturing, Maturity, Prosperity, Affection
Themes: Balance, Family & Financial Responsibilities, Security, Independence, Relationality, Social Status, Down-to-Earth Perspective
ASK YOUR CARDS:
In what ways should I separate my personal life with my professional life? In what should these two aspects of my life intersect?
How do I stay strong to my morals while accomplishing my responsibilities?
In what ways am I on a successful path, and in what ways do I need to change my ways?
REFLECT:
What collaborations are commencing, and what collaborations need to?
In what ways should I take the lead? When should I make decisions on my own?
Am I confident in my decisions? Do I look back after making a choice, or second guess myself? - How can I overcome this challenge?
What ways can I benefit from staying present in this moment?
How do others benefit from being involved with me? Where do I need to grow?
How can I be more comfortable in multifaceted aspects of my identity, and how others perceive me?
How can I practice gratefulness and humility, while aspiring to grow?
I haven't done this in a while, so please forgive me if it's not the highest quality! I thought this would be fun and could maybe help some of you out with any readings!
If you'd like to leave a review, please visit the pinned post on my profile! (This post is NEW!) Thank you!
Hi guys!
Today, I would like to practice one of my oracle decks that's been sitting in my drawer, waiting impatiently to be heard.
It gives detailed insights into past, present and future events. Please ask your question in the comments below and I'll get back to you.
As always, no medical or legal questions!
Happy readings y'all ✨
If you are interested hit me up in the chat. Please ask. your question, I am trying to work on this at a set time every day so I will just respond when I get to it, hopefully within 48 hours. I am using a pendulum but also my intuition to guide me with yes or no questions.
This is a great resource on basic pendulum work that goes well beyond the "use 35789 charts".

❔❔FAQ: What is Lot casting? What does # out of five mean?❔❔
Answer: A lot is a collection of objects, including stones, twigs, shells, buttons, or bones. Each object is designated with either "yes" or "no" on opposite sides. The majority determines the outcome of the throw. I use five buttons from a family collection that has been passed down for generations. One button is made of stone, another is made of mother of pearl, a third is made of what I believe is pig bone, one is made of wood, and the final button is made of Bakelite.
Seeking Your Opinions: Survey on Divination and Mental Health Apps
Hi~ Hello! I’m doing a little survey and wanted to chat with you about some tools we use in daily life, like apps related to divination, mental health, or emotional well-being. Would you be open to chatting with me?

(If you answered “Frequently” or “Occasionally”)
2. What divination-related apps or services have you used? Can you share some specific names?

“Do you remember any features or experiences that left a strong impression on you?”
3. Why do you use these products? What attracts you to them?”
4. If you were to evaluate these products, what do you think they do well? Are there areas that could be improved?”

Not sure if I put this in the right flair. Apologies if not!
I posted about this in a different sub months ago, but I just discovered this sub where some of you may have more insight!
I'm looking to learn the practice of throwing bones. I was wondering if anyone has any insight or experience they're willing to share, or if anyone has any resource recommendations I can check out?
(Note: I'm not interested in modern techniques - moreso older ways, if possible. Things that are ancestral, cultural, or spiritual are incredibly welcomed - I don't intend to appropriate, so I will do thorough research before practicing. But I'm not against modern techniques either. Please specify which your experience/info/resource leans towards!)
So today I went to my local mall which happens to have an apothecary and I bought a tarot deck. I had to hide it when I got home because I am not in a house where I can be openly witchy, but I did shuffle it and pull a card before I pit it away. I asked what I can expect from this deck and got the king of pentacle which, based on the guidebook, seems like a good sign.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been wondering about the practice of keeping a journal for tarot readings and whether it’s truly essential. I’ve read that many people find it helpful for tracking their readings, analyzing patterns, and developing their intuition, but I’m not sure how crucial it is to the practice.
For those of you who do keep a tarot journal, what do you think is essential to include? Do you only note the cards drawn, or do you also add details like your state of mind, the context of the question, and your thoughts after the reading?
I’d love to hear your opinions and tips on how to structure a tarot journal to get the most out of it.
Thanks in advance for your responses and insights!
Hey, does anyone use crystals to increase intuition or any other functions? Has it been talked about here? How do you feel about it?
Please ask a question :)
I feel like I want to buy more, I'm very open to many perspectives, is it too much? These are all from my freshman college lunch money.
I still want to buy Rider Waite, Etteilla Variants, Thoth Decks, other archetype decks, Occult Tarot, and many many more..
Hi! Ive been working with pendulums for about 3 years now, but im wondering if there is a certain prayer or something like a pray I can say before a reading to make sure the reading turns out correct, or to make sure random spirits aren't messing with it.
Hi, I’m just wondering if anyone is willing to get a rune reading from me as I need practice.
Thank you!

❓ Just one question.
💌 Comment and send me a message - find out what destiny has for you!
Don't give me additional information, I just need the question. Ask a concise and specific question of a particular nature.
In case the question includes people, include their full names and hopefully their dates of birth.
Response time may vary.
Include your full name and date of birth and ideally, a photo of your face.
Cordially,

I am 26 years old and through my life I’ve had several prophetic dreams that come true and I am starting to get interested in trying to make this ability better.
I want to know what are your dreaming rituals? And what deities are involved in dream divination?
I’m not all that familiar with tea/coffee readings, but I feel inclined to “read” this cup. I see a few faces and vague flying figures all coming together, but don’t quite know what that would mean. Open to any and all interpretations. Any help is appreciated!
(was told to try and post this here! If its not allowed I'll move to another reddit!)
So as the title says, i think im missing out on a deity calling me. For years I've had this woman visit me in my dreams. I've seen her in multiple forms, (young/old/in disguise) and every time i ask for her name, but when she tries to speak its blurred/bleeped out. But she tells me "I am the Witch of Hell" every time i saw her she either tried to kill me or have me chased down or fought. And at first it was tiresome, it kinda scared me, but eventually i got tired of it and i finally confronted her about this in my dreams. Each time i talked to her, her words grew softer. When i finally asked her why she was doing this she said "I needed to make sure you could handle it if i came to you." And i asked what she meant but she never answered. After that last conversation i began opening up more about deities and spiritually. Its been about a year since I've had a dream with her, and i have taken to work with some deities, and while i do feel they are right, i still feel like im missing someone.
Sooo this is where y'all come in. I was wanting to know who you guys think of when i describe her?? Im hoping to try and find whoever this deity is.
The first time i saw her, she was intimidating and scary. She had on a long black silk looking robe that covered her face. She had wings that were old and battered but still formidable if needed. She had long black hair and a crown upon her head.
The second time i saw her she still had on the black robe but her face was uncovered. I can't remember what it looked like but i remember being in awe and yet somehow felt pity and worry for her. She would use her wings but they cracked and shuttered as she flew.
The third time she was younger, smaller, her wings were hidden and she was trying to work her way into a place. When i saw her in this dream she was worried about my safety and led me out of the maze. She said this was a level of hell and i shouldn't be here. She walked me through and led me out and i woke up. She was furious i was there, but only for my concern.
The next time i talked to her, another woman in my dream said she was waiting on me and would continue to wait until i was ready. I talked to her and she was older, mature, refined. She had long black hair, a black dress, but her wings were folded along her back. She seemed motherly at this point, but in a tough love kind of way.
I have ideas on who it is but i would really appreciate outside suggestions/opinions on who it i or could be. Thank y'all in advance!
Just looking for inspiration
Hello! I’m not entirely sure where this bead came from, but I am wondering if anyone knows anything about it. I reverse image searched it, it said it was used in ‘bone divination’ and was called a ‘mop bird’ but had no other information. I’m looking to learn more as to what bone divination is, and even eras/ cultures that it is found in.
-this is the only site I could find a match for this bird. https://bonesshellsandcurios.com/mop-bird/
I'm just curious as to how people came to use the tools they do for divination. I've used runes, tarot cards, and crystals personally, and I feel the greatest draw to runes, but I'm not sure if it's because it truly feels better to me or that it's more my style personally. Also not sure if I'm drawn to tarot just because it feels more aesthetic and easier for me to explain the interpretation to others.
I'm looking for reputable authors and books that talk about the germanic/angelo-Saxon runes and that system of divination. I'd love to hear what you have to suggest. Ideally outside of the sphere of new-age wicca
