My current WIP of Chappell Roan, a drag pop performer taking the charts by storm. She’s been a huge inspiration for me, and definitely inspires me creatively. I found myself drawn to…well, draw her, and I realized a painting truly captures her colorful style and artistic flair. This is currently 89 hours of work, and as you can see, it is not anywhere close to being done. Hair is SO difficult to paint, and I do not envy anyone else struggling with hair. But I will press on!
I’m still fairly new and adjusting to drawing digitally after traditionally for along time. I’ve seen multiple apps that are fairly popular but I’ve had a hard time finding information about them like are they easy to get used to, what is better about a specific one over another, etc. as of now im using procreate and I like most of the features but I constantly have issues with the canvas being super pixelated to the point you slightly zoom in and that’s all you see. I’ve followed tutorials to fix it and I’ve gotten it to change a bit sometimes but now im kind of wondering if there’s a better app out there so please tell me your favorites and why !!! Including procreate if you like procreate tell me why its better than others you’ve tried 🫶🏼
I am looking for a drawing tablet, i recently bought a Wacom one display and was unable to get it to work as it said it had no signal. I've since returned it so now I'm looking for a different tablet. Does anyone have any suggestions and why they enjoy said product?
What is the best application for digital drawing?(For Android )
Hi, I have bought my daughter (12) a Wacom One tablet for Christmas and am trying to find a suitable companion software package to help her do her art with it. The obvious choice is SketchBook Pro which is available on the Windows Store but I see there are other options. I will most probably install Krita also but my main concern is the interface being easy to pick up. Any suggestions, advice or experience will be greatly received.
Hello everyone, I've recently had to say rip to my xp pen artist 12 unfortunately so I'm currently looking for a new one. the xp 12 gave me some troubles in the years but im still considering other versions of the same brand like the 16 for example? I really do not know. Discounts are ending shortly so i gotta decide fast, any help is welcomed
I am an oil portrait painter; classical realism. Just beginning the move into digital. I've looked at Krita and Clip studio a bit, but just wondering if I should stick with learning Fresco now that it's free.
I've seen extremely impressive results out of Krita. Not as much with the others.
Hey dear friends. I want to start creating characters and simple illustrations for books and stories. I am a total noob in that area and it's on a hobby-based intention.
Do you have any suggestions when it comes to a graphic pad. especially for character-design, which doesnt cost too much?
I am very thankfull for your advices
Been using a Wacom One for a while, was hoping to upgrade to something with a screen (I have powerful PC, but doesn't necessary need to be for PC). So many Black Friday deals seem like shams with small discounts that exist around the year. Any actual good deals/recommendations?
I'm sure this sub is probably going to be inundated with posts like these today, so sorry in advance for adding to the pile 😅
That being said, I've really been wanting to get back into art and drawing lately (haven't done anything on a regular basis since HS, I'm 29 now), and I was hoping for a good recommendation for an affordable device that's good for a casual artist while still maintaining a respectable level of quality?
I know basically nothing about digital art tablets, but I have a buddy who draws on one pretty regularly, and he recommended the wacom intuos pro medium, but I have seen talk around the net that wacom products are overpriced for what they offer, so idk.
As for budget, again, I don't know much about these things, so I'm not really certain what I should expect for general pricing, especially on black Friday, but I'd prefer to keep it in the $200-$300 range (or lower, if you happen to know a very reliable device that's on sale for cheaper)
For a while I've wanted to learn how to draw and I figured, I might as well just go for it. I was wondering about options for a drawing device. I have done some quick research and seen some professional drawing tablets, but I currently have a Samsung Tab S6 Lite. I was looking to upgrade my tablet anyways, so would a newer gen tablet like the Tab S10+ work with my PC, or do only professional tablets connect to desktop. Also, any recommendations if not a Samsung tablet?
I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask, but I need some help on figuring out how big I should make my digital canvas. I'm trying to create a mural-style piece with eleven people featured on it. (Kind of like Ekko's mural from Arcane). But I'm not sure how big I should make the canvas, as I want it to include a lot of detail, and obviously that's a whole lotta people. I use procreate.
