Is there a trick to get the connected items to a hinge plate swivel when you change the angle of the plate? I can not figure out how to get the rest of the sub model to rotate.
Howdy! These pictures were posted a couple of years ago, but back in Winter of 2022, I designed a LEGO Ideas Project based on the iconic Polar Express. The project's actually still going strong (just 583 supporters left 'til 10k), but I figured I should share a picture of the model here. The train itself is designed to feature the same level of detail as on the City trains, though built to 8-studs wide to better fit the scale many AFOL's use with their trains.
Does anybody know if there's an easy way to download the current list of Pick a Brick pieces to create a Bricklink Studio palette? Thanks!
Is there a way to get technic pins to "snap" into place as they would on actual Lego?
It's weird to me that they have a smooth motion across the entire length of the pin, and it seems difficult to get them to actually stick out correctly and at the same depth for each one.
Pressing Ctrl seems to kind of snap them as I'm talking about, but it is weirdly inconsistent, as if you start at different depths before pressing control it still makes the pins uneven. Seems impossible to get consistently and quickly.
Still learning, so any tips appreciated.
My entry to the Valentine’s Day contest on Lego Ideas was selected as a finalist! That means if it receives the most votes, it will become a real set! If you like these little lovebirds, consider casting them your vote over at Lego Ideas/Build From the Heart! It would really mean a lot!
hello I'm currently working on a huge model in studio 2.0 with about 21000 parts is there any fast or efficient way to create an instruction for it cause part of the model is really difficult and annoying to pull off myself and the Studio AI instructions turned out horrible. here is a picture of the model:
I've just begun learning Studio to make digital Lego MOCs and I keep noticing that 2 or more of my steps merge together (so i end up with fewer steps total) and I don't know why it's happening.
Anyone have any guesses? Am I accidentally hitting some shortcut key that merges steps? Has anyone else had this issue?
Hello everybody!
I was wondering if somebody had built the tuxedo cat in stud io. I'd really like to build mine in grey so it basically looks like my cat but I'd like to do that in an efficient way. Thanks everybody for the help!
I want to make some faces for my minifigures using PartDesigner, but they all end up looking a bit out of proportion. I want to know how I can make them look better.
Are there any templates I can use? Are there any sizes (length, width) that could help me?
