I feel like I never see any love for the matchbox moving parts, I personally don’t car for regular matchbox cars but the moving parts line I love!

Specially Schabak which I loved..they had well over 200 real airlines on their line up including Delta, Air France, Federal Express, Qantas, Lufthansa, Pan Am, Singapore, American, Alaska, Iraqi, Avianca and well...200+!

I collect anything Die Cast, specially things that have real life compaany names (promotional) on them...

As a fellow admirer of Hot Wheels, I’ve been observing the recent challenges genuine collectors are facing due to the growing craze in India. Scalpers and resellers have been inflating prices for even the latest models (sometimes 3-5x their MRP), making it difficult for loyal fans to expand their collections. While I respect the effort and investment behind old collector pieces commanding higher prices, the current scenario feels unfair for genuine enthusiasts.

I’m not a major collector myself, but I know a few passionate collectors, and I can understand their frustration. This has motivated me, as an IT professional, to think of creating a non-profit platform designed for collectors, by collectors. The goal is simple: to provide a trusted space for Hot Wheels enthusiasts to trade or buy models at fair prices, fostering a genuine community spirit.

Key Challenges in the Current Market

•	Scalping: New models are being sold at 3-5x their original price.
•	Lack of a Centralized Platform: Trading and buying are currently happening in fragmented groups or communities.
•	Fraud Risks: Many collectors are hesitant to trade in the Indian market due to trust issues.

Proposed Solution

A non-profit platform that addresses these issues and supports the community by: 1. Facilitating Fair Trade: Ensuring collectors can buy or trade Hot Wheels at reasonable prices. 2. Building Trust: Implementing a verified user system to minimize fraud risks. 3. Community-Driven: Run by collectors for the benefit of collectors, not profit.

Need Suggestions on Features

Here are some of the features I am considering. I’d love to hear your feedback and ideas! • User Verification: To ensure trust and authenticity in the community. • Listing Options: A space to list Hot Wheels cars for trade or sale, with fair price guidelines. • Collector Profiles: To showcase collections, interests, and trade preferences. • Community Rating System: Feedback and ratings for buyers/sellers to promote trustworthy transactions. • Trade Request System: A way to match collectors looking for specific models with others willing to trade. • Fraud Protection: Policies and mechanisms to reduce risk. • Nominal Maintenance Fee: A small fee (if necessary) to cover platform running costs without profit-making intentions.
