How should I design TV console area around diagonal wall?

Help :) We need a makeover. We are getting the sectional in the second photo. The wood art stays. The oversized carpet pad has since been cut to fit the rug shown. I need fresh eyes on this please and thank you!

Has anyone used a personalized decor guide?

These are the list photos of my home that we purchased a little over a year ago. We want to begin redecorating more of our style, but just don’t know how to start. I’ve never been a great decorator, but our house is over 5k square feet so I REALLY need to learn lol. Our problem is with the oak everywhere… we don’t necessarily love it and I feel like if we go room by room fixing things up, our house is going to look so mismatched. We will be doing the remodeling ourselves, so how would you begin??

Where do we begin??

Have these cupboards over the washer/dryer in our laundry room.  Any paint color suggestions? It’s a small room, but all white and plain.  Floors are medium walnut.  I’d do wallpaper on at least one wall but the walls are textured.

What would you put up there? I added a picture of the full space and what I do for Christmas. I have attempted a few things in the past and always take it down immediately. Always looks junky 🤔

My bedroom is so boring and sterile feeling.

I feel  like I’ve really tried to make this room  look nice but something just isn’t clicking. It really isn’t an option to change out anything right now like bed I can’t really change furniture. Can’t change anything. But I can’t do is play around with positioning or I could also play around with well I don’t know. Atut the moment this room is looking a bit bleak and “cramped” should I say. Please advise me on what to do because I just don’t have a clue.

Need help as my bedroom looks “scruffy” and untidy.

When we bought this new house, the whole house was painted a very light gray. A lot of the furniture came from my old house and I thought it would look really cool but it turns out it’s washed out looking. Definitely going to buy some colorful pillows for the couch, but I don’t know what type what color or what material? I do have a couple pieces of cool art that I’m going to hang. They both have color to replace the Lucite ones.

Also, which mirror and I want to put a wood wrap around the kitchen hood in the same color as the light brown mirror if I use it. Thank you.

Hi hi, guys! This part of my room is extremely empty, I wanted to put up some decorations. Unfortunately the design and the gray and black colors don't suit me, but I can't leave it the way I like it because it's planned. Anyway, next door there are two shelves with decorations that I managed to get around, there are things I like and some books... Can you give me tips on what to put in this empty part? I want to make it more decorated. 

Note: the Glock is an Airsoft

I’m not sure what to do with this wall!

So we have decided to totally renovate our 3.6m x 3.3m master bedroom and we are in need of some suggestions. 

Our existing furniture & bed frame are dark walnut colour. We are putting in a new laminate floor, like a medium oaky colour. The big item in the room is the IKEA sliding wardrobe (**PAX / MEHAMN**) in the dark grey colour. 

What wall colours would compliment this? And what curtains would also work with this too?

Covering white areas on wall

The whole room is 26ftx14ft. The wall behind the camera has the front door on one side and one window (same size as the windows pictured) on the other side. 

Thoughts on how to design it? And maybe hide/distract from the ugly fuse box?

Moving into a house with one long living/dining space... help

I have a studio. I live with my toddler.

Help me get a carpet/rug

Could you please help us figure out how to have useful night stands (#1 & 2) on either side of our bed? 

The coves are pretty deep and if we just built them with a table top we’d be reaching back to set down/pick up eye glasses. We’re thinking of installing a pullout top so that it can extend out for that reason.

Sad, Tiny Basement Bathroom

Layout Help!

I have a large, blank wall in my bedroom and I’m trying to figure out what to do with it. I was thinking a bookshelf and a faux tree maybe, and my wife was thinking floating shelves mixed in with wall-hung photos.

Blank Slate Bedroom Wall

It’s cracked in the right side (visible in pic). Should we keep the hearth? Should we expand the tile or remove? What about the mantle? It’s cheap and water damaged - maybe reframe the whole thing? We are considering doing built ins around the fireplace. Thoughts? Ps yes I know my TV is too high. There is nowhere else in this room to put it, trust me. If there were I would move it.

I’d love storage there, but I don’t want to commit to buying a lot of furniture unless I am sure because I hate getting rid of big cost items. (3d render isn’t perfect, but it gives a general gist of how this jut-out corner looks.)

I love my bedroom, but I don't know what to do with this blank wall. It's pretty big - 10.5ft total and 8 ft when the door is open, which it usually is. I like patterns (obviously) but I'm not into the extreme maximalism or gallery wall aesthetic. I want something that will match the current colors and vibe without drawing the eye too much.

I've thought about a flower bar, macrame, and vintage inspired travel posters. Inspo photos of all included. I'm leaning towards posters at the moment, but I'm not sold on anything. I've also thought about leaving it blank, but life is short so decorate your walls, I say. 

Thoughts??
