Looking for a radition grade hazmat suit. Any leads are appreciated.
I've been in Denver for over half a year now and wouldn't mind picking up some of these skills as a hobby.
I'm located downtown.
Message if you're interested in even just chatting.
Not only did they have ferrocerium rods, they had magnesium rods, emergency blankets and other cheap emergency supplies. They were coghlin name brand.
My family is considering moving from our home outside of Portland Oregon to the Denver area. We are skilled technologists, and know the area supports our job markets well. In fact my employer has several locations so I would just be transferred to whatever ends up being closest.
That being said, one of the biggest reasons we want to move is it seems like it's the time to give up on Oregon for POTG and for anyone that goes crazy by a governor that goes against the will if the people and her own advisory teams. The PC insanity is also going too far.
We have been considering Golden, but are looking for other ideas that wouldn't be hindered by Denver's existing and potential firearms laws. Prefer to live within 30-60 minutes of "the city" since we are in our 30s and still burdened with needing employment for many years.
As far as property goes, we are also considering having our parents share land with us, so zonig might be considered. Maybe 1-5 acres. A small homestead, not a ranch, if that makes sense. I would only want more space if it made financial sense and offered the ability to plink on my own land.
So, where should we be looking?
Anybody have any plans this weekend? We're heading out to the archery range and picking up a few dozen more arrows. Probably going to head to Costco or Sam's to pick up a few cases of canned veggie's.
Live on the west slope right now, more then likely moving to the front range soon for work. Will be living in or around the Boulder area.
Other then much more snowfall then I'm used to (shopping for snow tires now) what will be the major things to watch out for east of the Rockies? Big wind storms, flooding, other natural disasters?
Unfortunately for me my most advantageous BOL is west, so mapping alternate routes through the Rockies will be a high priority.
Hey, just found this sub. Anybody here?
I gotta go hunting, need someone to look over my gear.
Hey guys! I'm a Colorado native, but I grew up in the Fort Collins area. From there, it's not too far of a drive to the Pawnee Grasslands where I can shoot a little more openly than a gun range allows. I'm not running and gunning or anything crazy, just able to do quite a bit more.
Anyway, thats more of what I'm looking to do. Somewhere outdoors where I can do a bit of a different type of shooting than just standing up straight and punching paper. Any suggestions?
