Yo! While not a specifically Denver-localized event, I wanted to help spread the word about VinCon coming March 1-2. It’ll be held in FoCo this year at the Foothills Mall.

It’s a retro gaming convention that is very family-friendly, organized by good people, and always a blast every time I’ve attended. My video game cover band Airship Overdrive is performing Sunday afternoon, along with 5 or 6 other performers across both days.

Events, tournaments, open play on dozens of consoles, vendors, swap meets, costume contests, it’s got it all.

We've been slowly growing the Killer Queen community over the past 6 months, and we're getting together for our regular Sunday afternoon meetup tomorrow (Feb 2nd) at 2pm at FlyteCo Tower!

What is KQ? It's an awesome 5v5 arcade game that you have to play in person with a group. It's got an active national tournament scene and a really awesome community, even for casual players! Here's a super quick video that gives you an idea of what it's about.

I haven't ever had someone come and have a bad time. You don't need to be good at video games to get into this! We also love it when new players get into the game and love teaching the game, so don't be shy and don't worry about not knowing what you're doing! Hi, it's me again. I couldn't make that board game swap in January - celebrating my stupid anniversary with my stupid girlfriend or WHATEVER - but I just got in touch with the admins of Genghis Con and it's somewhat likely that there will be a swap meet there. So, here I am drumming up interest again, cos I just got gifted a bunch of games by a friend who's moving and I'd like to see em in loving homes.

Why does every Denver gamer I meet have a completely different schedule than me? My wife and I are looking for some friends to form a somewhat regular game night. We enjoy Ticket to Ride, Catan, Villainous, and are open to learning new games. We also enjoy some simpler video games like Overcooked or Mario Party.

About us: we are late 30s, no kids, living in Thornton. We have two dogs and two cats. Our weekly schedule varies quite a bit, so we're unlikely to be able to commit to a set time each week, but if your schedule is varying or flexible we can probably make something work. Our political views are fairly left leaning. We aren't looking to talk politics but if your views differ substantially and you don't keep them to yourself then we likely won't be compatible. We are LGBTQ+ friendly. Alcohol is fine but we don't do any other drugs.

I’ve become a semi-regular at the casual Commander night at Wizards Chest on Thursdays. Every week it looks like there’s also a bunch of folks playing a cube.

I am a new Denver resident, journeying from the West, to apprentice at the local Heroes Hospital (VA) as a mind healer. Landing just a fortnight ago, I was ill prepared for the bitter cold and snow, but by Crom, my upbringing in the frozen North East as a lad has given me the foresight and skills to continue!

I am an XGen guy, came into TTRPG's back when they came in a box with a crayon (insert old wizard voice here), but have returned to the hobby a few years back. I enjoy Dungeon Crawl Classics, Mutant Crawl Classics, Forbidden Lands, 5e, you name it.

I am working on GMing again with some DCC/MCC funnels, 1shots, etc. and would love to get a group together willing to try out DCC/MCC 1shots and perhaps a campaign down the road.

I also really enjoy playing!

We're hosting a Learn-to-play Keyforge (the unique deck game by Richard Garfield). First published in 2018 by Fantasy Flight Games, Keyforge changed hands and is now produced by Ghost Galaxy. GG is releasing a new-player-friendly set, Discovery, which releases on Jan. 31. This event will take place at Total Escape Games (TEG) in Broomfield on Saturday, Feb. 1, 3p - 5p.

New and old players can come and learn all about KeyForge. In this event, folks can play games of KeyForge with members of our community to get familiar with this exciting deck collecting game. We will have experienced players to help assist in learning and answering any questions that you may have.

Entry into this event is entirely free and we will have product for players to purchase if they would like to. There are some free gift bags with all you need to play the game (while supplies last).

My name is Ben and I am a DM looking to get back into DMing after a bit of a hiatus. I am happy to work with new and experienced players alike. I have built a custom world and campaign which allows for a level of customization and integration of PC backstories that playing through a module does not typically afford. I am excited to see what kind of story we could tell together, but before we get into that, here are some basic details:

Schedule: Alternating Wednesday evenings - other potential times negotiable

As I said before, I have built a world and campaign that players will find compelling. I have run a portion of this campaign before I had to step down previously and the players really liked it. There is plenty of room in this world for your character to have their own unique backstory and experiences, and for you to shape your corner of the world with me. My goal as a DM is for players to feel like their characters truly belong in the world, are part of it, and have an opportunity to shape it as much as the world has shaped them. 

New and experienced players alike are welcome. Group will communicate over Discord. The group will meet at my house in Parker, CO. I have a large table, comfy chairs, some lighting, music, battle maps, minis, and more to make the game as immersive and fun as possible. My groups are relaxed, fun, and inclusive. We have one or possibly two spots for a group for Vampire: the Masquerade 5th Edition. We're going to meet Friday evenings, at a location to be determined, but convenient to the SE Denver/Aurora area.

You don't have to have played Vampire to join, but have an idea of what you're signing up for. It's a dark game of personal horror, political plotting, and watching your humanity spiral away. It deals with heavy themes, and while we'll be thorough about session zero and any necessary safety tools, there are some edges that can't really be filed off here.

The group is currently 3 players and me as GM. We're in our 30s and early 40s. Diversity in race, sex, religion, age, disability, gender or sexual orientation, etc., is welcome and we want someone similarly open and tolerant on these fronts. Because of some medical treatments, my immune system is kind of in a state of flux, so while masking is not necessary, please be open to the possibility that this changes.

I've GMed plenty of games but this will be my first time running Vampire. If after a while we want to try another game, I think the group is broadly open to a lot of games and even other people GMing. About the only thing I won't commit to is running D&D or another game that's similarly high-overhead/high-planning.

Hello, I recently moved to the Lakewood area and am in search of places where I can play board games with others and hopefully make some gaming friends! Specifically looking for public places like board game stores where people meet up to play. I enjoy almost everything, but generally go for mid-to-high complexity games (Spirit Island, Wingspan, and the like).

Moving to Denver but it's complicated Hi all. This is going to be a bit of a doozy. My partner and I just got out of a 5 year long relationship with our partner. My wife and I were devastated, but are rebounding and doing better. We are looking to move to Denver from NYC as a reset. We have both lived in NYC at least 10 years and I've been here my whole life. So the time feels right to at the very least take a risk. (Nothing wrong with a post break up midlife crisis imo)

I was hoping to know about an area full of nerdy, poly, kink friendly people near the downtown area. My wife and I frequent online games and would even be down to host a table top night.

I'll be upfront this is also a complete dive in by us. We've never been, it's spontaneous and for us that could be a really good thing cause we are pretty reserved and homebodies.

The way I see it. I already barely leave my apartment in NYC. So worst case i pay a bit less and also not leave my place if we hate it?

My husband and I moved to Centennial, CO recently. I haven't successfully found any active PC groups yet. Hello! I am the Operations Manager for our Esports Arena located in Broomfield. We will be opening 8 more locations along the front range. We have our children's esports and competitive league programs locked in...but....

I want some adult gaming programs! As a gamer myself, I would love a place to meet and play with other people, and I have seen similar interest in this group. So, I wanted to come to the community directly and simply ask, what do you guys want or what would you be interested in? What games would be the best to offer? Would you want weekly programs (such as a League of Legends league one night a week, or a Tekken 8 program), monthly tournaments, etc?
