Soo, I was at a concert the other day for some pretty heavy music and I went outside to go have a cigarette in the smoking area and I went alone so I was bored and saw this guy sitting right next to me and decided to talk to him. We kinda vibed for the night and danced and had fun etc. But right before the night was almost over I slipped and sprained my ankle really bad… i was pretty drunk and don’t rlly feel much of the pain that night I guess bc I was still walking on it. Plus my intention was to go home with this guy and have sex so I didn’t really worry about that lmao. But then we got to the train station waiting for the train and we started talking about ouija boards and things like that haunting etc. he said he went to Japan in the suicide forest and that he had a spirit from the suicide forest following him for years and it did really bad shit etc. I didn’t ask what bc I got a little freaked out. He said it was gone for a few years now and that he got rid of it but hen started thinking he somehow spiritually had something to do with me spraining my ankle because demons prey on pain. I was already at his house after that and still decided to have sex bc that was the whole reason I went there but his house would up being kinda a disaster and he was just having a very weird vibe about him during sex that felt like a completely different person if you know what I mean.. idk maybe I’m crazy but I kinda felt like I was hanging out with a demon… has anyone had this or have any input on how to know if you met a demons disguised as a man? Ik this sounds crazy but yeah..

I work with him, and he’s appeared to me in three different guises. The first one was of a barbaric man, in nothing but a brown cloth and boots. I don’t remember much of his face except that he was tanned, and tall. The second form was of a giant red demon (think of Lord of Darkness from the movie Legend.) and lastly, his third form was of a pale man with long, blonde hair and golden eyes.

I’m curious how he’s appeared to many, and is there a specific appearance he usually takes.

Introduction:

I may be new to occult topics and to arcana and esotericism in general, but something weird is happening and I'm confused by it. I am not posting this as a joke, I am not trying to have a laugh here, I am confused and frankly...kind of weirded out by this. I just thought that, of all places, that this might be a good place to ask questions and try to discuss this situation and experiences.

Context:
I'm not in the Church of Satan or in the Satanic Temple, and honestly I'm not even that into demons and daemonology. When I got a copy of the Lesser Key of Solomon I thought it was odd how it said you needed to conjure, bind, and essentially enslave them to do your bidding. It seemed kind of...I don't know...mean...to do that. But maybe I'm just a softie wimp or something. I dunno.

Most of my exposure to demon stuff is from the monster manuals of Dungeons and Dragons (completely authentic source, I know). So this is a field that I'm really not that well versed in.

I do not have Schizophreniarenia, my psychiatrist and psychologists have confirmed that I do not have it multiple times over the years. Yes, I know it's weird that I keep asking them but quite frankly I'm scared of developing it after seeing A Beautiful Mind. I really don't want to be crazy, I already have to contend with ADD, Depression, and Anxiety. I don't need more on my plate.

Experience:

Lately I have been taking a passing interest in the occult and in magick in general. It's something I never really explored before and I thought it would be neat to do some digging and some research for fun. I've made some magic circles, made a spell, and stuff like that. So far it seems kind of neat.

Then the other day I heard a sort of feminine voice in my head, not out loud. I could tell the difference clearly that it wasn't something that I could hear. This was something I could "hear" in my mindscape/soulscape or whatever you want to call the internal world of a person. Naturally, I got curious, and a bit worried.

This voice said that it wanted to teach me magic and it was very insistent on doing it. It said that it thought I could make a good impact but that it wanted to make sure that I don't screw it up or that I don't make a bad impact. Obviously I was very suspicious about this.

The being introduced itself as Baphomet which I thought was odd. Since, according to my research, Baphomet was likely to a corrupted translation of Mammet which was likely a corrupted translation of Muhammed from the crusades [Source]. An entity fabricated by the Catholic Church to blackmail and destroy the Knights Templar because they were getting too powerful for the Pontiff's liking.

I was suspicious that this was some kind of tulpa, imaginary friend, or some kind of psychological anomaly. So I felt that this should be dismissed as a glitch of my mind.

Then they came back weeks later when I started making a spell, working on a grimoire, and stuff. They were even MORE insistent this time that I allow them to teach me stuff. It's actually getting a bit creepy now. They're not asking for any sacrifices, rituals, or anything. They're literally offering to do this for free, which is its own kind of weirdness.

The heck do you guys think I should do? Does anyone else experience weirdness like this or am I just crazy after all? Every professional I've met has cleared me of that, but...it's still weird right?

Hello everyone I am extremely interested in the posts here but i also can’t help getting a little scared after reading some of your stories. It’s a very similar feeling to watching scary videos on YouTube when I was a little kid. A lingering dread after my curiosity.

Now that I’m an adult I tend to only get scared or experience stuff like sleep paralysis after I research and open my mind to this stuff. Am I just able to perceive entities that have always been around me when I open myself to it? Or am I being haunted through my phone or something like the energy is being drawn to me?

I feel pretty safe in my current home but I definitely felt like my last house when I lived by myself was haunted which is how I started to get interested in the possibility of spirits.

I started seeing and hearing scary shit after I invited demons into the crib with the front door open while trynna mess with my friends w an Ouiji board. Something definitely moved in and we all had to move out.

Should I just be happy with my current understanding. Or should I entertain my curiosity and open myself the energy on this subreddit that kinda makes me feel uncomfortable bringing up past memories.

Hey all, bit of a question. Ever since I was a child I have periodically felt and seen what I'd call, for want off a better term, a shadow figure, black and without features, tall and gangly. (No hat.)

I've worked with various deities for years, none match what I've seen constantly for nearly forty years and the being in question never offers any insight, they simply watch. So I'm at somewhat of a loss as to identify them or their intent.

For the past few years I've been dealing with an entity that visits my dreams, it looks like it's made from a black fog, the only noticable feature other than the fog is its orange eyes. Whenever I encounter it, it doesn't say anything just sits there and looks menacing but it's like I can feel the negative energy radiating off of him and he turns my dream into a nightmare as soon as I see him. I'll have a normal dream, the best example would be me being in my childhood home with my family, then he would appear and doors start slamming by themselves, none of the lights work and I'd be all alone. It doesn't seem to attempt harming me in any way but it does enjoy making me feel uneasy or frightened. If you have had a similar experience please do tell me about it in the comments, I'm not trying to get rid of it just trying to understand entirely what it is and if I'm in any real danger.

About 3-4 years ago I encountered an entity. She claims to be a demon and we been speaking. Her claimed name is Sophie Morningstar she hasn’t caused me any issues not yet at least. She claims that she was sent by a friend to watch over me before that said from committed suicide so now she’s almost everywhere I go along with a few others that I’ll save for another story. So I guess my question is this. Is there any recorded children of Lucifer’s children that I just don’t know about? Has anyone ever had any encounters with them or at least one that claims to be one? Bonus if one of them is this Sophie spirit. Anything helps

For context I’m a 21 year old female with a Christian mother that believes in God, demons and the spiritual world in general. For a few years now, while I sleep I feel my bed dent as if someone sat down and it wakes me up constantly in the middle of the night. I always think it’s my cat jumping onto my bed or something but it’s not. I also feel like my hair gets pulled softly or someone taps me in my sleep but nobody is there. My boyfriend had the same expirences when he slept over a few times. I constantly have this bad feeling like someone is watching me while I’m sleeping and just hovering over me or laying next to me watching me.

Another expirence I’ve had is about 5 years ago I went to church with my mom. I was walking up a flight of stairs at the church to go to the second floor. My aunt who has always seen spirits and had dreams about events that would later happen in real life told my mom that she saw a figure run after me when I was walking up the stairs. My mom never told me what my aunt said but a few months ago, 5 years later, I was driving around with my boyfriend at night by a park with lots of trees. We saw a figure run across the street while waiting for a red light. At the same time we screamed and ask each other if the other saw the figure. We both described it as a really skinny, black, dog looking creature standing on two legs. It was really tall and had really long legs and every step it took was huge and didn’t look natural. I told my mom about me seeing this and she told me about what my aunt saw 5 years ago and how we both described the figure the same exact way. Well right after me and my boyfriend saw the figure, we sped off because we were really shaken up. As we were driving we heard a little kid laugh. The laugh just sounded really sinister and gave me a really bad vibe. It felt as if the kid was right next to my ear breathing and laughing. I couldn’t shake off the feeling for a few minutes. I still felt the presence of the kid next to me. My boyfriend described the same feeling. It was about 2 am when this occured and if it wasn’t a spirit, I have no idea why there was a kid out at that time.

About a month ago I was just hanging out in my room with my little sister listening to music when the light of my room turned off, we were home alone by the way. I’ve been living here for 6 years and we’ve never expirenced any lights turning off for no reason. We got really scared at the moment but didn’t think much of it. A few days ago we were home alone again hanging out in my room listening to music. The same song that we were listening to last time the lights turned off was playing. I jokingly said if the lights turn off again while this song is playing we officially have a ghost. The song finished and we felt a bit relieved when the light didn’t turn off because I kind of got us freaked out by the comment I made. As soon as the next song started playing the lights turned off. We were screaming and crying at this point. It took me about a minute or two to get the courage to open my room door and leave. When I opened the door my sister and I both felt a really cold breeze come into my room. It almost felt like walking into a really cold freezer and the feeling was really unwelcoming. There were no fans on and it was 70° outside that day so the apartment was feeling pretty humid that day. I have no idea where the cold breeze came from or how the lights turned off by themself. The same day I was watching tv and my fire stick kept lagging and restarting. Maybe I’m reading too much into it but that has never happened before.

There have been a few minor things as well like I’ve seen figures and shadows in my apartment from the corner of my eye or this overwhelming feeling that I’m being watched. The other day my closet door opened by itself and I have no idea how because again, I had no fans on and it was pretty humid that day as well. If anyone knows what this might be or has had anything similar happen to them, I would really appreciate the feedback. About two years ago I got accupuncture. This person put a needle in my crown chakra and third eye. I would never consider myself a clairvoyant or medium, but that night a saw a purple spinning vortex that changed colour in my minds eye. That night a saw a big black shadow being walk out of it? Since then I've had continuous night mares and sleep paralysis. I've had something lie on me and feel like a ton of bricks and even grab at parts of my body. I've tried all the protective crystals and herbs and cleansing. I don't know how much money I've spent on soul retrievals or past life regression or on people who think they can help. I'm not getting anywhere. It's starting to get physical and feels like there's pins going into my skins and sometimes feels like there's a screw driver into my head and it physically hurts so bad it sent me to the hospital and they ruled out anything physical. I've probably suffered mental health growing up with anxiety, but nothing compared to what this whole ordeal has put me through. That which Semitic people called Astaroth (Asherath), the Greeks have called Astarte, so this month we're talking about a demon that's a God and a God that's a demon.

Before Astarte got a demon description, they first slipped onto the demonization train by being mention in the bible verses 1 Kings 11:5 “For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.”, 1 Kings 11:33 “Because that they have forsaken me, and have worshipped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, Chemosh the god of the Moabites, and Milcom the god of the children of Ammon, and have not walked in my ways, to do that which is right in mine eyes, and to keep my statutes and my judgments, as did David his father.” and 2Kings 23:13 “And the high places that were before Jerusalem, which were on the right hand of the mount of corruption, which Solomon the king of Israel had builded for Ashtoreth the abomination of the Zidonians, and for Chemosh the abomination of the Moabites, and for Milcom the abomination of the children of Ammon, did the king defile.”.

Fast forward over a thousand years and you land on the modern description of "Astaroth is a mighty, strong Duke. He appeareth in the form of a hurtful angel riding on an infernal beast like a dragon, and carrying in his right hand a viper. Thou must in no wise let him approach too near unto thee, lest he do thee damage by his noisome breath. Wherefore the magician must hold the magical ring near his face, and that will defend him. He giveth true answers of things past, present, and to come, and can discover all secrets, he will declare wittingly how the spirits fell, if desired, and the reason of his own fall. He can make men wonderfully knowing in all liberal sciences. He ruleth 40 legions of spirits."

Pull the time back and what you'll find on Astarte on the wiki is “the Hellenized form of the Ancient Near Eastern goddess ʿAṯtart, who was the Northwest Semitic feminine variant of the Semitic deity of the planet Venus in its role as the morning and evening star, ʿAṯtar. As such, ʿAṯtart was thus also the West Semitic equivalent of the Mesopotamian goddess Ishtar, who was the East Semitic feminine variant of ʿAṯtar.

Astarte was worshipped from the Bronze Age through classical antiquity, and her name is particularly associated with her worship in the ancient Levant among the Canaanites and Phoenicians, though she was originally associated with Amorite cities like Ugarit and Emar, as well as Mari and Ebla. She was also celebrated in Egypt, especially during the reign of the Ramessides, following the importation of foreign cults there. Phoenicians introduced her cult in their colonies on the Iberian Peninsula.”

This makes it a very unique almost dual form of a spirit. As a Goddess Astarte had overseen war, sexuality, royal power, beauty, healing and hunting, as a demon Astaroth oversees giving true answers to this past, present and to come, discovering secrets, all liberal sciences. Making them a very broad spirit. Too broad to be the same spirit some would say.

So, any of you work with this spirit? What are your experiences like with Astarte/ Astaroth?

And if you don't work with the spirit, something to think about would be - is it the name and the image, or the spirit's connection to the area that they oversee that make the spirit? When we create new associations, do we give new knowledge to a spirit, or do we connect to a different spirit under the same face/ name?

These guys are Amaymon, Gorson/Corson (not to be confused with Purson), Ziminiar or Zimimay and Göap (not to be confused with Gaap). I found out about these four from the Ars Goetia and according to my copy their names according to Rabbins are Samael, Azazel, Azael and Mahazeal. The problem is that it didn't specify whether or not they were being named respectively, I presume so since the directions they ruled over were name with East first which Amaymon rules over, but I still have my others ways to look at it. For starters, I have usually seen Göap and Samael as the same since they both seem to be lustful in some way. Could I have some help with this if it's possible, I'll give the page of the translation of the Goetia I got this info from here. As always, thank you for your time!

In the Ars Goetia, there are a few spirits like this.

In Paimon's description, there are two names of Kings mentioned, Label and Abali. Barbatos appears with four unamed Kings and their noble troops, Gaap too appears with mighty unamed Kings.

But the most interesting of these unknown characters though has to be King, maybe an emperor, Amaymon. He is one of the four demons of the cardinal directions, apparently Azazel and Samael are in this group too and one of them may be another name for him. He has power over Asmoday/Asmodai, Gaap and Seere/Sear/Seir, and is titled King of the East. He is also name dropped in King Beleth's description, which may hint at his fiery or poisonous breath, "And thou must have always a Silver Ring on the middle finger of the left hand held against thy face, as they do yet before Amaymon." I've also seen descriptions of him calling him the demon of avarice, which I don't know how liable they are since my sources are from Mr. Mythos and Wikipedia, ol' Wikipedia is self-explanatory as to why it's a bad source, but Mr. Mythos' source to this is unknown. (And before you tell me, yes I already am aware of the other Demons of the cardinal directions (in their Christian names), those being Ziminiar, Corson and Göap.)

Lucifer is also name dropped in Paimon's description, Paimon is said to be very loyal to him. He's also mentioned in Belial's description, Belail was apparently next after Lucifer.

Personally, I do. Seeing as you have Astaroth being Astarte, Bael/Beelzebub etc. as Baal, Zagan as Dagon and many more. This I also why I consider Moloch as a demon too and not just a figure made up by Canaan. If this is wrong though, I presume this idea is widely believed amongst Jews and/or Christians. What do you think?

Every night I have a ritual before I go to bed. brush teeth, clean room, do whatever and check the house for locked doors and windows. I have been seeing what looks like hands and the silhouettes of bodies in the dark rooms of my head. I can look at them, but they disappear after a second or two. I'm carrying a meat cleaver with me to check the doors now. I've also heard segments of music, mostly classical coming from my walls. I've heard whispers and things touching my legs, shoulders. and arms too. But when I check, nothing's there. It's supernatural. Sometimes I can see a patch of air that looks looks like tv static, and it's distorted. If there's any rational explanation for this, I'd love to hear it. This was one of my last resorts. I've been burning sage and incense, and have been doing everything I know that wards off demons, even read the bible and keep it under my pillow. Thanks.

How do I command them to do my bidding?

In the Ars Goetia, Belail is described as appearing as two angels riding a flaming chariot. The confusing part is the fact it's two angels and not one. Is it like conjoined twins, two entities who are the same being, can Belial split into two separate entities and form back into one? I just don't know how it would work if it's like two separate demons, could someone please explain how Belial being two separate entities works?

I swear to god something is living in my house. Every single night when I get up for whatever reason I’m the middle of the night, before I go back in to my room I swear I see what looks like a head peaking out from behind my couch. As if it saw me looking back at it and then it hides again. Please someone help me. I pray every night but nothing helps.
