Chino was recording vocals in May. A month prior he was mentioned after Coachella it was his job to finish vocals as the rest of the album was done. Surely by now, they have a song ready to go. It's just a matter of timing and if the band/label feel like the time is right. I am not expecting it, but I am hoping! We come to San Diego every year for dia de Los deftones and over the years we have been lucky enough to take back the coolest swag! This year will be hard to beat. First thing we thought of was how are we gonna take these back on the plane without them getting messed up. Fed ex / kinkos has a laminating station and I have to say they make it easy. So happy we got these would still love to get the phantom bride one and the hazy ipa green can even the lucky you one is cool. We did not want to push our luck anyways we have some time before the show starts just wanted to share with you guys!

Edit: never been to a show in a stadium or arena type venue which is why I ask. I’m used to smaller venues or halls up in nor cal that really don’t care

On several Deftones songs, he takes his melodies in super unpredictable directions in ways most people would never think to try. My favorite example of this is in the last few lines on the second verse of Feiticeira. So satisfying and weird I love it

Was outside Petco-Park waiting for merch, heard them rehearsing songs. Heard tempest and Change. Anyone else here in SD that heard the rehearsals as well? Would like to know what else they might be playing

I got two seated tickets, then realized I could get field, so I got one field ticket. I'm going by myself from LA and not sure if I should try selling the 2 seats (they seem to not be going for much $ on stubhub) or sell my floor ticket and one seat and get more $ back. What to do? Ive been going for yrars and every other year they haven't had seated tickets and you could wander anywhere so this is new and idk if I would regret not getting on the field.

I remembered the concert during work today as my boss brought up an in-person meeting he is coming back to the state for that's on the Monday before that show, since most of us work remote.

I totally didn't realize that the show is on a Tuesday night (April 6) so when I mentioned this to him, he says right away "Well, you should take both that Tuesday and Wednesday off of work, then! Here's a calendar invite so you don't forget" 💯
