Is there a name for the visual style in the tank? I'm looking for similar art and artists because I really like this style. This rusty ship-like cobbled together environment really appeals to me but I'm having trouble finding similar art online. Anyone have any ideas?
New watcher here, on episode 2. Let me get this right, this anime is about a sentient robot civilization that slowly took over the human race all while these monsters, Gadooll, nearly wipe out humanity, They then treat the remaining Humans like a zoo exhibit while using artificial human bodies as avatars in a IRL video game, killing the Gadoll, to have fun and blow off steam?
What I mean is, it's an MMO to the bots.
The first episode of Deca-Dence blew me away. I loved the characters and was fascinated with the world. But the twist in episode 2 completely ruined it for me – it’s definitely an interesting concept but I felt like the world set up in episode 1 was more than enough to hold up a story. Should I keep watching? I’m feeling unmotivated, but if it’s that good I’ll give it a few more episodes.
I’m not the type to regularly watch anime, but I saw this on Netflix and decided to give it a shot since it was 12 episodes. But man this was really good, such a satisfying ending!
I'm late to the party, but I'm so glad I waited to binge this show because waiting for each episode would've been torture. Seeing Natsume and Kaburagi grew over the course of the series was satisfying to watch. I wished more of the side characters got extra time to shine. Donatello and Jill in particular were extremely fun.
It was a blast from start to finish and now I have that void feeling after finishing a great show.
Loved every single episode, there was a sense of mystery and intrigue in each one that kept me hooked. Not to mention the great characters, world and ost.
Does anyone know when the last two episodes are being released in dub?
Its not hard to see where the creators got their inspiration, and although there's a few things iffy with the show, it was incredibly enjoyable to watch! The whole premise is almost exactly like that of Star Ocean 3: Til the End of Time, and if anyone wants to experience the same premise of the show, in a different format on the PS2 with a different story, I would highly suggest it!
This officially jumps into my top 10 anime list. Truly wonderful.
The entire series was on point and explained perfectly. The pacing and animation was flawless. Love the OST.
Truly amazing series no cap.
Edit: This one https://youtu.be/zR4M-LBKX7I
Should’ve referred to it as soundtrack
Edit 2: I’ve spent a while looking for it in the OST, but I can’t seem to find it, not included apparently which sucks, I hate it when the trailer theme for stuff like this is awesome and they don’t even include it in the OST
Does anyone know when the English dub for episode 8 will be released?
