Debate and discuss issues surrounding vaccinations.
Post news stories, facts, questions and/or arguments for or against vaccinations. Prepare to have your post and comments challenged, as that is what this subreddit is for.
The one rule is be respectful to others. Ad hominems, doxing, and/or other forms of personal attacks can get you banned. Try to use facts and logic as much as possible, however personal beliefs are permitted as argument for or against vaccinations. Just don't expect anyone with a different belief set to be swayed by your arguments.

This is kind of a random question, but can any of you tell what the writing that I’ve circled on my old vaccine card says? I know I had a strong reaction to one vaccine as a child, but my parents can’t recall which one it was. What I circled could have no significance, I just see the word “strong” so I’m just wondering if there could be any connection. Thanks in advance.

Back in the day we never had misinformation or disinformation, we just had inaccuracies and lies. We also had differences of opinion which reasonable people could try to resolve by respectful discussion and debate. In medical and other scientific fields, that process of debating differences of opinion was recognised as a foundational principle of science and the means by which collective knowledge and understanding could most efficiently evolve: the scientific process.
Covid changed all that. Any opposition to the official narrative surrounding lockdowns, masks, vaccines and the like simply was not tolerated. The terms misinformation and disinformation were weaponised to shutdown debate for ‘the public good’. Any attempt at counter-argument was labelled mis- or dis- information and therefore wrong or dangerous.[...]

Sanders - "I asked you a simple question Bobby, studies all over the world say it is not." (Referring to the use of the increasing child vaccine schedule and its relation to nationally increasing autism)
Kennedy - "Senetor, if you show me those studies I will absolutely apologize."
Sanders - "That is a very troubling response."
Makes one think.
So before having my baby I was 100% get every vaccine available to me and I did throughout my pregnancy. My baby is 12 weeks old and ever since her 2 month vaccine appointment something has felt off to me on how she has been acting - fussy, digestive issues, refusing breastfeeding and after researching with other parents I think it’s related to the Rotavirus vaccine she was given. From noticing this I’ve done a deep dive into all things vaccines and I have to say I’m not loving the information I’m finding. I’m scared as I’ve already given her the 2 month shots as well as Hep B and Vitamin K at birth. I’m hoping to get some resources on what you suggest I should read on before deciding which route I’d like to go from here and if I decide to not continue to vaccinate or not fully vaccinate did I already mess her up with what she’s been given?
That's why isolated studies on one vaccine and one ingredient and one health measure cannot prove vaccines are safe and effective. If they're good quality and legitimate even.
Wrong!
In 2023, Pfizer reported total revenues of $58.5 billion. The company invested $10.7 billion in internal R&D projects and allocated approximately $14.4 billion to Selling, Informational, and Administrative (SI&A) expenses, which include marketing and sales activities.
That's from Pfizer's own financial report.
They spent nearly $4 billion more dollars pushing drugs, including MRNA vaccines, than actually researching them. Do those priorities sound right to you? Don't you think that a good drug would sell itself?
$14.4 billion in marketing. There's no way this influences main stream media right!? It certainly wouldn't influence medicine right!?
He clearly said he supports the measles and polio vaccines, and his kids are safely vaccinated. Anyone feel played? Betrayed? Lied to? Used? Add your own below ⬇️
Here you go:
Mitt Romney (R-UT): $3,378,614
Orrin G. Hatch (R-UT): $2,878,132
Bob Casey (D-PA): $2,063,304
Mitch McConnell (R-KY): $2,027,732
Bernie Sanders (I-VT): $1,953,613
Richard Burr (R-NC): $1,642,876
Patty Murray (D-WA): $1,616,081
Charles E. Schumer (D-NY): $1,557,928
Robert Menendez (I-NJ): $1,491,425
Gee, I wonder if this influences them?
When i was around 3-4 a dr put a bunch of vaccines in me and one of them caused a severe allergic reaction that almost took me out for good. The problem is since they were putting a bunch of vaccines in me at once we aren’t sure which one caused the allergic reaction.
As a result, I haven’t been getting vaccines since I was 3-4 and although I don’t get sick often, when I do it’s brutal and often takes several weeks to fully get over sometimes. No, im not antivax; I genuinely want to get them but am anxious.
I’m afraid that since im not vaxxed, an illness is potentially around the corner that will take me out for good; doesn’t seem too unreasonable at this point with how sick I get, mentally im somewhat ready for it. In the past i’ve had to be hospitalized just for simple flu flare-ups. Should I just suck it up and slowly try vaccines again? Or just accept fate for what it is, and hope for the best when it comes to getting ill
When people say "the science supports x", what they often really mean is that; most scientists believe its true, and most of their work says its true..
We must distinguish between what is: truly scientific , and what is: the consensus and production of people in lab coats and the letters PhD in front of their name.
The literature was massively in favour of tobacco smoking and the scientists were massively in favour of tobacco smoking before the mid 20th century.
Science is not merely the prevailing output of scientists... It's a process with very delicate principles that are difficult to adhere to.
Studies... do not = science by default.
Consensus does not equate to science or fact either
Just curious, not judging. I’m vaccinated my baby but would like to know why some people don’t.
Its such an absurd response it's hard to even put into words all the ridiculousness of it.
Thoughts? Comments? I was zucked from sharing this study on my Facebook groups. Would love a real discussion here.
