Debate and discuss issues surrounding vaccinations.
Post news stories, facts, questions and/or arguments for or against vaccinations. Prepare to have your post and comments challenged, as that is what this subreddit is for.
The one rule is be respectful to others. Ad hominems, doxing, and/or other forms of personal attacks can get you banned. Try to use facts and logic as much as possible, however personal beliefs are permitted as argument for or against vaccinations. Just don't expect anyone with a different belief set to be swayed by your arguments.

How do I best go about getting a covid 19 booster vaccination exemption for the UCI health system. I work for a medical sales company, but UCI wants me to get the booster. Honestly, I just don't feel comfortable getting a mRNA vaccine. It says I can get a religious exemption to get out of it. Does anyone know the best way to get one in California?
Kaufman, an MIT trained scientist and Duke University trained psychiatrist, has deep expertise in analyzing scientific papers, data and general published studies and as such has come to believe that the traditional acceptance of germ theory since the late 1800s is not scientifically based but is rather fraught with contradictions, various conflicts of interest and even fraudulent claims. Conversely, Kaufman supports the more broadly defined "terrain theory" which promotes the belief that lifestyle choices alone force otherwise benevolent microbes to transform into pathogens; i.e. the body’s “terrain,” not germs, creates disease. These beliefs made Dr. Kaufman an early rejector of masks and COVID 19 vaccines and the subsequent attacks on our civil liberties, which the widespread societal acceptance of germ theory allowed.
It's nihilistic and while I get feeling despair at times, it's not going to make anything better.
There's still good in the world, not everything is a facade, not everyone seemingly good is controlled opposition.

Everything that has evolved has a right to their planet, every bit as much as we do, even the ones that eat us. It doesn't matter how small, or how much of a nuisance to humans they are.
I agree that vaccines are -on an individual and anthropocentric level- safe, effective, and work as intended. But it's the intent I disagree with. I will never consider intentionally wiping out another another species to be a success.
Which of the vaccines are safe safe.. like real safe and ok. Example polio vaccines.. please list down.
As a child had gotten a bunch, I recently had blood test , I have antibodies only for some. And for some I don’t.
I want this info so that I can decide for my future child too.
Do you suggest getting my 11 year old daughter the HPV vaccine? Has anyone ever had adverse side effects from it? I had the hpv vaccine as a teenager and had no side effects and went on to have a very easy time conceiving my 4 children. My husband made a comment about what if it paralyzes her or she has a bad reaction and that has me afraid and second guessing getting it for her. All advice is welcomed.
The spike protein generated by mRNA COVID-19 vaccines is a substance capable of causing direct harm to the heart. The cardiologist who made the admission stated: "this toxic protein is the root cause of the alarming increase in heart-related illnesses seen in both young and old patients since the vaccine’s rollout."
I believe vaccines aren't the sole cause of autism but contribute alot to the current number of people with it, so, I'm just curious if any of you have unvaccinated kids that are autistic. I heard the Amish, which are primarily unvaccinated have low autism rate compared to the 1/36 of the United States.
Cheers.
