DS2 weapon improvements

How would you change the weapons introduced in ds2 (ie. the detonator, seeker rifle, and the javelin) if the ds2 remake was still in development.

For the seeker rifle I would have the zoom function as a lock on seeking bullet with a moderate lock on time. For special upgrades I would decrease lock on time, have three rounds lock onto multiple enemies/limbs, and increased fire rate. Also heavily increase the ammo capacity in general for capacity upgrades

For the javelin I would keep it the same. For specific upgrades, I would keep the explosive special upgrade from the original, increase the secondary’s shock radius, and increase the secondary’s shock duration.

The detonator is a tricky one, and I can’t honestly come up with a different alternative fire. So I’m just gonna keep the deactivating mine secondary fire. For special upgrades, keep the increased blast radius from the original, increase capacity (I know that’s lazy shut up) , and increase nock back to enemies caught in the blast.

But how would you guys improve these weapons in a remake?

Is there any mod or fix to the frames issue?

I can barely keep up to 20 and then suddenly 60. And then 5.

I have a3060ti. I installed the Nvidia driver I got Vulkan I delete the cache each time I turned on v sync, triple buffer and low latency. I have everything as low as possible.

It runs worse than calisto did which was ultimately good.

I can run re4 on medium to high but this runs like glados in portal 2

Edit: UPDATE! Oh my word i figured out what was causing my issue. I had previously had Bluestacks opened and it was causing some major reduction in my overall GPU available memory ( about 4.5 from 8). I noticed when i was going through graphics setting on RE4 that my total GPU usage was lower than normal. I couldn't figure out why. I went into Death Stranding (which i have been playing recently) and noticed studdering and issues there too. After a restart i opened deadspace and it rungs like butter now on medium settings. Small sutdders but no frame drops.

Make sure your GPU isn't being used by another program. It was the cause of my issue.

I reverted The vsync, tripple buffer, and low latency back to default. I kept Vulkan. I deleted the Cache and i kep the NVidia driver.

Can't get past first level, glitch on pc

So I downloaded the Dead space remastered on ea games, but there is a glitch where I either get stuck on main menu or can't get past the first part of first level. Anyone else having this issue and if so, what is the solution

Pre Leviathan Glitch?

I completed everything to get into the food storage and fight Leviathan, but the doors still remain locked.. I went back on a pre saved slot 3 times now and STILL locked.. WTH? I started back to episode 3 twice and ran through everything, killed all the wheezers, and she says, i will unlock it so you can get in, get there, and its locked! what am i missing? about to trash this game

I'm in a dark room, with the air conditioner blowing on my back. I can literally feel as though I'm in the Ishimura Atrium. Even at minimum graphics this game looks stunning

Fog & Master Override

Someone has probably already asked this but I'll ask again. I am in my new game plus play through and I noticed the environmental change after I made the Master Override. I figured that maybe you might have a few more enemies to deal with but the fog really rolled in after the Master Override was made. It kinda makes me want to run through the game once more but not make the Key just to see the difference. Has anyone experienced with this? Also, this is my Halloween game.

How many people began stomping all the dead bodies they came across?

I just finished the remake and for the most part I loved it! After seeing >!the captain and a couple other bodies get got by the infector!< I instinctively started stomping dead bodies everywhere i came across any number of them together. And it really saved my ass a few times like in the later chapters when >!you get access to the crew deck and there's tons of dead unitoligists who all sacrificed themselves together in groups. I stomped every single one of them to bits and after i got the keycard by the z-ball game i came back and there were 2 infectors in the room and some other baddies but they didn't have shit to reanimate! !< I prevented several traps by stomping bodies ahead of time...but i did spend a fair amount of time stomping bodies who never wound up mattering. Was anyone else paranoidly stomping the shit out of dead bodies like that?

Whats your go to weapon selection? (DS1/remake)

Plasma cutter - always have one with me, plentiful ammo and can choose vertical/horizontal aim to target arms/legs

Pulse rifle - maybe not the best weapon in terms of damage but personally I find the high rate of fire helpful, especially against swarmers + alt fire for a pocket grenade in remake (in original alt fire wasn't very useful)

Contact beam - very effective particularly against tougher necros like Brutes, melts through them like butter

Force gun - knock back effect is useful when you're surrounded by necros
