Looking for servers that really capture that survival game feeling. Preferably high population. Thanks in advance!

I've got the necessary items to access the bunker, still need a light source tho. I'm currently on the peninsula and have t been to the bunker before. The server is on official and is generally around 20-30 pop at the times I'm playing, although I might try and go early morning when it's a lot quieter for my first try. Is it possible to do solo with one full can of fuel and a badly damaged glow plug?
Playing on Xbox.

My main thoughts are the time it takes to go back and forth opening doors and the lack of storage for carting loot.

Hi Me and my friends own a nitrado server for xbox Sakhal. We were trying to make the m4 and dmr not spawn in the speacial crates on the islands and instead spawn in tier 2 3 and 4 military so we changed there spawns in the code from speacial and unique to tier 2 3 and 4 military . The problem is now they aren't spawn at all on the map but all the other weapons are spawning fine. If anyone can help tell us what we did wrong that would be greatly appreciated because we are lost cause we've made these changes before and they've worked fine on other maps but it's not working on this map. Thank you in advance.

I have 740 hours in this game so I know very well what not to do to get cholera. First of all I boiled water in a cooking pot to sterilize it, then I drank it and got cholera. That was weird first of all but whatever. So I cured it completely with 4 tetra. Now I have all white stats. So to make sure my pot of water is clean I used a chlorine tablet to purify the water. So now I have all white stats. I drank the water about 30 minutes after I was cured. This is the purified water, and got cholera again. Did I do something wrong?

So we went down to the bunker in Livonia and we went down the water hole and now can’t get back. Is there a way around this? Or was one of us supposed to stay back to turn the water valves? If anyone is out there that can save us I’ll Venmo you For Gondor!

Just bought the game yesterday, chilling, walking past solnichniy when a ghillied out man with nvgs and plate (with an identical two other players behind him in the compound) makes me aware that I almost stepped on him while Walking along the train tracks. They proceeded to walk me around and settled me in front of a bridge eating human flesh from a campfire. Died from starvation after they provided me food didn't see them again. Now I'm wondering does dayz just have the wildest interactions of any game out there?

Have always enjoyed watching streams of Dayz and like the concept. Finally picked the game up this week since it was on sale, but once I select a server to play on, even on official ones, the second “page” loading the server/game on always seems way out of proportion to my monitor and never fully load, stays basically white and then turns to the not responding error. Do I have a setting wrong or am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated on this. Thanks

Just played DayZ for the first time, took me 10 minutes to try to eat a potato it didn't let me eat it, couldn't find anymore food, got some guns, apparently dropped my shoes somewhere. At this point I had 3 cuts on my shoes, an infection, I was starving, super low on health. So with the little health I had killed some zombies, went to the top of an apartment, used all my ammo on the air, dropped all my stuff and jumped off. I'm now watching the "nightmare before Christmas" with my family.

Hey, yall. sorry if this is an odd post, but I just wanted to see what people had to say. I've admired from afar dayz for SO LONG. Im thinking of finally diving in and getting lost. Im not fully sure how things work server wise but it all looks fun and unique. Ive seen RP servers that look very interesting and it all just seems like a place and setting that i could get lost in and invested.

Also, again not fully sure how tings work, is there proximity mics? is that what ive been seeing? also trying to see just how big maps are, idk sorry this is probably weird to post... just seeing what the community thinks of the game, what im getting into, waht fun there is.

Haven't touched the game since like 2014. Figured I try one of the newer maps and I encountered this wrapped zombie that wouldn't die. I tried hitting it well over 15 times with a shovel and then some with my hatchet. Ended up pulling more zombies so I hid in a house. Do I need a gun to kill these things or is it a skill issue? lol

Would love to find some people to play with. All my friends hate it

I appreciate the option but I sick of thawing out consumables.

And I miss the green green grass and trees of home The old castles, the rugged crags, the how long has this been here moments, still. The anxiety that never goes away in tier 3 forward yes I am old, and I am stubborn. I'm not ready to retire in Livonia just yet.

It's 50% off on steam at the moment. Does this game have offline play as I won't always have internet or is it purely online? Will I need a good internet connection or can I play on a slower internet?
