After rewatching Mauls hallway scene in TCW, I saw a comment that actually got me thinking. I’m paraphrasing here, but it was along the lines of “This showcases the ballence in the force shifting towards the dark”. That was the most powerful Maul we’ve ever seen. Maul was mauling “no pun intended” through troopers as if they were more of an inconvenience rather than an actual threat, and pulling down the hyperdrives with little struggle? He struggled a little but not anything like I would have imagined. All with the force remind you.
I thought it was a pretty interesting theory.

I’ve noticed some odd posts on his Instagram and it seems like he’s going a little crazy does anyone know the story??
I've been wracking my brain about this image - I thought maybe it was from the Clerks cartoon or a throw-away joke in Dexter's Lab or something, but I can't find a source! Any help would be appreciated.
What I mean is that Maul only got 5min. of screen time in the movie, and in my opinion was he kinda a uninteresting character. He played on being the ‘mysterious intimidating danger’ or even though it succeeded was he without depth and a little bit boring. But Mual had one thing really going for him, his character design was metal AF, his double saber was so god damn cool and not to forget, he was marketable.
So even though he wasn’t a great character in the movie , did he create interest and fans, therefor was he developed as a character in the comics, clone wars and rebels. Maul was a mediocre character, that became great because he was cool enough to get fans that wanted to see more of him.
That’s at least my opinion, if you disagree I would love to hear why, and please reason for your opinion instead if jus calling me brain dead or something.
