She’s so perfect! I was scared she would arrive broken but she was well wrapped and only $14.99 at Joann’s!
I saw them sitting around on the shelf not doing anything and thought they deserved a nicer display!
I went out and spent like £4 at a charity shop for a frame and a cushion cover to steal fabric from. I used three foam board panels cut to size to fill out the frame and cut shaped holes into the top one for the props to sit in. Then I laid the fabric on top, glued everything in place, then used some string and buttons I already had lying around to decorate the frame. After that I stained the string with acrylic ink and painted it a bit to make it look old and mouldy, dry brushed the buttons for a bit of contrast, then used my hot glue gun to make the cobwebs as a final touch!
I think it turned out nicely for a wee afternoon project :)

It's an exquisite pattern with a beautiful drape and certainly worth an effort. I'm a fairly experienced crocheter, but I don't know how demanding the pattern really is. Would you take it on or do you have actual experience with it?

Hey, I have sensory issues and some materials I have a really hard time wearing (anxiety at one point almost panic). For example I can knit with a material but then tryng to wear it m, I just can’t. My mom made me a beautiful sweater and I can’t wear it at all without a longsleeve under and have to avoid touching my face or neck when having it on
I want to make a big scarf hood thing and i am not sure what type of yarn to use. I like the ones that are soft and not itchy, but ai allso need it to be warm. I am pretty new to this so if somebody could give me some tips it would be nice.
(Im sorry for my english and my spelling, it is not my first language and I have dyslexia)
I got the mystery Beetle Juice Halloween box from Knitting Is Metal and I looove these yarns! Did anyone else get this?
Still working out what I’ll use it on. Besides socks, what would you make?
