The game really doesn't respect your time when it comes to stuff like Spheda. Having to complete a dungeon each time to do it, only to fail due to a bad dungeon layout and not being able to see where you could land. And it's so slow to power up unless you're using the ride pod, I'm in chapter 3 now and only reason I'm winning is because of the ride pod weapons. The combat is way too clunky for everyone else and they expect you to grind up everybody else to suitable levels when the process takes forever. Feels like the only worthwhile characters to use are the Ridepod and the dragon transformations for land speed, and even then its not fast enough to clear the early dungeons absurd time requirements. And don't even get me started on the missables as someone with OCD, the rough money requirements, the georama being a great idea but the ways you're forced to build dampening its execution. The gift capsule system.
Yakuza 0 this is not.
how the hell do you get perfect on the duels in dark cloud, ive been trying for an hour and i havent gotten perfect once, and i do reset my save every time i try, do i just need to get good?
I’m
I know you synth feeder stuff into your main weapon, but is it best to build up my main weapon into a new weapon as soon as possible or get it to a certain level before building up?
I have downloaded the game from the PS Store, so I can play on PS4 and PS5. There isn't an option ingame to turn on Japanese audio, just subtitles in various languages. The audio is always English. Changing the console language to Japanese also doesn't help. So, I guess I already know the answer, but I wanted to ask anyway.
Is there any way to change the audio to Japanese?
This is a question
So I was going to turn the Buster Sword to the Claymore since that’s what the guide said, and the guide also stated that it doesn’t need Wind.
…So why is the Wind in red? Is this a glitch? Did the guides lie to me? I checked multiples to make sure that this was accurate. Wind is also the only thing in red; everything else is fine.
In DC1, if I started with the Baselard and used upgrades and attachment stones to build it up to the Shamshir, would it have the same stats as the default Shamshir you can find in chests? Or will it have the stats I upgraded from the Baselard?
Eg. The base attack for the Baselard is 8, and the base attack for the Shamshir is 20. If I took the Baselard and upgraded it to the point it had 25 attack, then built it up into the Shamshir, would it still have 25 attack?
I'm needing to farm weapon stat crystals for my challenge run. Does anyone know a decent way to do this like back floors, or a merchant? I'm in Queens at the moment and just unlocked Ruby
Any ideas on how to guess the combination of the invention? There are so many possibilities that it's hard to imagine creating every possible item in the game this way
For example, I combined an umbrella + a pumpkin. What connection does that have to each other XD
Honestly, I guessed a few recipes, but only two elements. Most often, I didn't find the third element at all. I'm in the second chapter, so is it normal?
PS. I play dark cloud 2
I think it was the height difference. Or maybe their big claws.
Creepy.

Are the metals used just to buy cosmetic items from Need? Since cosmetic items are for looks only why would one go through the hassle?
This video focuses on Dark Coud Iceberg touching on Dark Cloud Lost Media Statues, new beta and more!
This is most likely one of the final 1 hour Long Icebergs I create as my health issues with my lungs makes recording 1 hour long videos very painful and uncomfortable.
The Dark Cloud Compendium is a channel that spotlights dark cloud, dark cloud 2 and dark chronicle as well as dark cloud trivia, feel free to check out the rest of the videos!
Over 1 hour of Lost Media research footage, over 8GB, overwhelming love and appreciation. 🌺✌🏼
Hope you enjoy.

I'm a beginner artist and drew this for fun.
Thought you might like it.
Used to love playing these games I always comeback to them every now and then. I don’t even know how many times I’ve beaten darkcloud 1 especially.
Sorry if this is an obvious question! I'd like to replay the games, but I found the weapon-breaking mechanic so frustrating that I'm hesitating. Is there any kind of mod or cheat code for infinite durability that still works?
EDIT: Thanks for all the help folks, I found a cheat table that lets me edit weapon HP, I just had to use an older version of PSCX2. If anybody else is looking for something similar in this, the year of our lord 2024, feel free to DM me!
I'm not sure if you heard but the Internet Archive and Wayback Machine have been forcefully taken down by cyber criminals. Many peices of preserved lost media now find themselves at risk of being lost once again.
Here's footage of a LOST Dark Cloud Flash Game found by the Amazing Shaztopia through using the Internet Archive.
This footage has been preserved on the Dark Cloud Compendium YouTube page to prevent it's existence from being lost once again. It may only be the footage but now with the Archive being down, it's the best we got out of a bad situation.
Here's hoping the Internet Archive gets back as soon as possible, it was an invaluable resource for preserving human history and the internet as a whole.
I've personally always wanted something that can scratch that Dark Cloud itch in the modern era (or an official Dark Cloud 3), so the idea of a spiritual successor has always interested me.
Perhaps it would be akin to how Stardew Valley spiritually succeeded Harvest Moon.
What do you guys think, and if you were to add something new to this hypothetical Indie Cloud 3, what would it be?
