Many of Lustmord's albums say in the description what the album's theme and/or inspiration is, but nothing is listed for Carbon/Core:

Does anyone know anything about the theme or inspiration of this album? Maybe it was mentioned in some random interview done a long time ago?
If not, does anyone have any theories? It's one of my favorites.
Even though it's originally psychelic rock jam on western themes, but after my edition sounds like really intriguing dark ambient. Also in my intent it's an audiovisual illustration of Kent State University massacre. I hope you'll like it!

Well, I needed to talk about this song, and maybe find people to share it with (I've found not many people talking about this on the Internet).
I describe myself as a great music lover. I listen to hours and hours of daily music of many kinds, from EBM to grindcore, folk, shoegaze, baroque music, 90s britpop, black metal... But between thousands of different songs of many different genres, collected all along my Spotify playlists, one song has been prevailing for years: Grayland from Alphaxone.
I'm obsessed with this one. Literally, this is the song I have listened to the most times in my life since I discovered it in 2015. It calms me in moments of anxiety, relaxes me in moments of calm, tranquillity and well-being; helps me focusing and studying, reading, and... Uff, and above all: SLEEPING. I don't remember when I started listening to it sleep, but nowadays, it's hard for me to sleep at one of my partners' houses and not be able to listen to it during the night (I mean, so as not to bother them with my weirdo things hahaha).
This is... So special to me.
