Does anyone know where I can start the LN from where the anime left off at? Idk if it starts at 17 or 18 where bell fights ottar?

So I'm currently on season 3 episode 10 of the anime, I heard sword oratoria is highly reccomended to read after season 1 (I didnt know at the time I finished season 1) I am planning to read danmachi after I finish the anime but, should I read sword oratoria now? or should I just wait until I finish danmachi anime and read it while I'm reading danmachi?

When bell rejected freya what happened afterwards when she told otter to capture him in a more harmful way? ( I think that’s what she said) is where I read that somewhere was curious what happened and if bell has to fight them or did he not do that just yet?

From my memory I don't believe she has ever used her strongest magic yet. At least canonically. Especially as a level 7. Unless theirs short story version.

I hope you're doing well. Since the release of the season 1, I'm a follower of the Danmachi series but never thought about reading the LN's. I searched a lot about the reading order and other stuff but to be honest after watching the whole anime (5 season, SO and the movie) I cannot think about a big or dramatic reason (maybe there is..?) to read all the LNs from the complete beginning. So I'm trying to find a shortcut for switching to LNs.

I read some comments about the anime series that they skipped some important parts and even a complete book, I guess? so I'm a bit concerned about going directly on order after end of season 5. Any recommendations will be appreciated, thanks in advance.

During the time bell spent with Ais he added her as a friend and due to this his subskill, the flame of connection, allows him to connect with her and feel her position and health situation.

Unfortunately, due to this connection the black flame that resides inside her infects bell too. Now hes able to use part of the power himself.

Algos is a greek name for destruction. By using this power bell behaviour becomes much more serious and reckless. At the start he couldnt control it at all and just went in a killing spree of monsters.

While its active a black flames spirals from his chest and adds black flames on his limbs as well as weapons. The flame inflicts unhealable wounds to both the target and the user. The duration is 30 seconds.

The first time was shocking for his friends and he manages not to die only thanks to Armid talent in dispelling curses and their speed in bringing him there.

Later on when he manages to control it it gives ais more time to use it safely and to bell less damage received when they are near eachothers. Bells flame is a cursed flame and as such it works on both people and monsters which cant heal themselves.

This skill prioritized over other skills and cant be called off until 30 seconds has passed. Other skills wont work when under its effect. Thanks to the skill, even the black dragon wont negate the damage.

This fact makes this two even closer to eachother since now they share an important part of their lives. Something that Ais has agonized over for a long time is now a common point that made all those fear dissipate into nothingness. As if she was, once again, saved by the white light.

Excluding the gods, who among the cast would be the most followed on the danmachi equivalent of YouTube (Medium-Long Form Content), Tiktok (Short Form Content), Twitch (Livestreaming), and the site who's links are forbidden (Shit posting)? And for good measure, who'd have the most followed subreddit in verse.

So over the past year or so i have been catching up with all the danmemo stories however i found that the playlists on youtube were often incomplete, unorganized and with a lot of duplicates. While they are not canon they still offer a lot of great stories and they greatly expand on the side characters and gives us a lot of unique character combinations. I keep seeing how people here know a lot about the past of the story, even though they never talked about it in the main story. I saw some people talking about a game, but I downloaded it and I just couldn't download it, but I would like to know the Canon stories of this game and where else can I read about the past, Zeus and Hera family, old heroes and everything.

Today, in Tokyo, in a cinema whose name I don't remember, episodes 10-13 were broadcast.

In this "event", some voice actors also participated.

The duration of the event was 2 hours and 30 minutes.

I read some posts on X and many spoke well of the work.

It seems that episode 13 has been completed a few days ago (I think it is not a question of animation but of the voice actors).

Wanted to try compiling a complete list of every DanMachi story; light novels, short stories, adaptations, etc.; to see how it would look to place everything in the series in, mostly, chronological order.

Decided to focus on making it a "relative chronology", as if it were like a reading list (so for stories that take place at the same time, it'd go in priority of main series > Sword Oratoria > SS's). Also for the SS's, I included an indication of what LNs they were included in, due to just how many of them exist and how hard it is to track them down (thankfully the 2 SS compilations are releasing in English in a few months so that will make things significantly easier soon).

Almost every single book and story is in here so if there's anything I missed please let me know, I'm avoiding games like Memoria Freese (beyond the stories that were adapted into novels) for now due to how even more complicated it'd be to find a complete list of all of them.

So I need he got the upper hand against bell on the rematch, was wondering if anyone who reads the LN can tell me if they fought for the 3rd and final time yet or not yet? And how the outcome was if so?

What if in a some years FulldiveVR headest is release and a Danmachi game is made for it, what familia would you join? Would you think it would be multiplayer? I wanna it to be permadeath, people would play very careful because of how hard would be to rise the falna stats and level up without a skill like Liaris Freese.

In Volume 20, it was mentioned that there were a total of four side stories, one of these side stories was known as the Gamers edition and it focused on an interaction between Leon and Ottar. The post shall make an attempt to provide a transcript and translation for the side story, however it can be subject to inaccuracy. It would be beneficial if individuals that have access to the side story could provide advice and feedback.

The title of the side story appears to be "とある猛者と騎士の一幕" which could possibly be interpreted as "A Scene Between a Certain Warrior and a Knight".

The knight pursed his lip at the 【Warrior's】evaluation, something he would never tell the boy himself.

His smile showed that his conviction was correct.

The reunion between the warrior and the knight was so brief and sudden that the gods would shrug if they were here.

The time has come to an end.

Soon the knight turns away.

"Ottar. Times are changing."

With that, Leon left.

The gods themselves had anticipated the words and they were on their lips, and the rough warrior was left alone in the empty space.

He dropped the words.

"I know."

Considering how brief the side story between Leon and Ottar was, it raises the question as to whether the two of them would ever discuss specific individuals from the Zeus Familia such as Zald and Maxim and specific individuals from the Hera Familia such as Alfia and the Empress in a future conversation. Could it be possible that Leon and Ottar discussed the events of Astrea Record including the latter's confrontation with Zald and ascension to Level 7, considering the fact that Leon returns to Orario every three years since the events of fifteen years ago. Leon and Ottar could have met each other six years prior to the present events of the story and had a conversation regarding the events of Ottar reaching a Level 7 status.

The fact that Leon and Ottar are established as equals and long time friends raises some questions, such as how they initially met, what were their initial impressions of each other, and at what point did they consider each other to be friends. In a flashback in the third chapter of Volume 20, it appears that Leon was on good enough terms to ask Ottar about what he thought of the strike that Zald unleashed to defeat the Behemoth. The absence of Leon in the backstory of Ottar in the Familia Chronicle Episode Freya light novel seems to be an opportunity that could have provided more foreshadowing for his character as a contemporary to Ottar, though perhaps the author could have decided it was better to reveal Leon's presence later or they did not finalize how they would contextualize Leon in the story at the time.

What are the opinions and thoughts on the side story, any interesting details or information that stands out?
