Been struggling even with the appendix formulas and understanding them. If anyone else wants to suffer together I would love to help on assignments. Thanks!
Hello. I recently dropped a course and added a new one in my schedule. Currently it is saying I am in a waitlist. How long will I be in a waitlist? If I stay in the waitlist for too long, won't I be behind my classmates?
Hey guys any dal pych students want to be friends? Message me
Does anybody else think the new art on the outside of the Killam library is a little out of place? The whole point of the Killam’s architecture is that it’s supposed to look like a fortress protecting the knowledge inside. Plus the art is probably gonna get super degraded being outside in the elements like that. I feel like there would be a much better place for it, like inside where it was last year or even just somewhere else inside the actual building.
Shot in the dark wondering if anyone has found a set of car keys with a heart key chain on them, if so please message me so I can confirm they are mine <3
Someone explain why I am being forcefully charged almost 200$ to use the Halifax transit system when its slow, stinky and all in all awful. I never use the buss and it only costs a few coins without the buss pass if I ever needed too. I walk and bike to lower carbon emissions and get health reasons. I looked at the OPT out form and it says these reasons are not legitimate?! This is ridiculous.
Hi, I'm doing a minor in English and I have to change some of my classes this week. I was wondering if anybody took ENGL 2215 or had any classes with Dr. Andrew Brown.
Thanks!!
Hey anyone is stat 3340 regression analysis of variance. I'm on co-op and will likely miss most classes and was just hoping that someone could keep me updated.
Looking to start a band, I’m in second year. Leaning towards blues and classic rock
Semester 3 Nursing Students:
Hello hello hello! Am I the only one who still hasn’t completed their shots for Nursing school for unforeseen circumstances? They’ll be completed in October. What’s going to happen if they won’t allow me to do the clinical placement in Nov? 🤔 How do I make up for it?
Anybody know where on campus I can find access to a free printer? Im in howe hall and have classes in the lsc, mccain building, hicks building and occasionally in the sir james dunn building
I'm in my second year now and it has surprised me again just how many people drop out in their first week. Like fully moved into residence and everything or haven't even moved in yet and have dropped out already. Has this always been normal or has it only been happening in the last like decade or so?
Hi, I applied to Dalhousie this year for an undergrad in science. I’m order to be admitted I need to upgrade my English and Pre cal. Anyone know any free Courses that will be eligible for Dal?

Does anyone know when the round 2 placements will come out?
Is anyone switching out of civil into another program?

Does anyone know what’s happening for hoco this year? Like when are the dates, are people actually going to Magnetic World, and what events are Dal planning? Dates for anything (games/events) would be appreciated!
Hey guys, I'm a first year here attending Dal. For the past couple of nights, I've been feeling awful for my roommate, and what he had to go through. I've been sleep deprived for awhile, almost 3 months now, and I feel that the newly added stress of school is making my sleeping patterns unusually difficult. I fall asleep fine, but I've been having these vivid dreams, and they end up being night terrors. Within the past 2 days.. I have woken up immediately after shouting/screaming in my sleep. The first night he seemed surprised, but all together all right about it. The next instance was last night. At like 6am I let out this bloodcurdling scream for a split second.. and woke up feeling ashamed and upset with myself that I'm letting this happen. He obviously was woken up by this, and I haven't been able to sleep with a sound mind since. I feel horrible and I am anxious that I'll lose a great roommate over this and not to mention have my floor mates (especially my neighbors) to answer to. I'm already a very over apologetic person, and I just don't know what else to do. Any advice or words of encouragement is much appreciated:)
Edit: This is also after I was drunk for the first time, and had an Uber ordered for me from a floor mate. When I got home, I was crying my eyes out, etc. So all in all, not in the best headspace at all lol.
So I'm gonna apply international next year to Dalhousie, and I want to get into the architecture program. So I know that the track is a BEDS then M.Arch, but I'm confused on the first two years. On the website it says:
So essentially is the program transfer in only? Or can I go to Dalhousie for the first two years? And if so, what would that look like? Anyone who knows about this or is in the program if you have any clarification that would be greatly appreciated
Grades:
I've been in an American curriculum school for 5 years now, I took AP Precalculus, Chemistry, and Physics C: Mechanics in grade 11, scoring 4, 3, and 3.
I’m taking AP Biology and AP Calculus this year, but I’m unsure whether to take Physics C: E&M and Psychology. (I heard in Canada they don't care about AP courses, so I'm planning to drop every AP except for Calculus)
Hey!
I have a double room in Sheriff Hall, and I found out (from who was supposed to be my roomate's instagram) that ny roommate is not coming to dal anymore. My friends suggested I take over his half of the room, but I'm worried someone else will be switched into it. How long should I wait?
I need a bus pass and I'm not a student anymore and no way am I paying the full price for transit. If somebody could give me their bus pass from their dal card I'd appreciate it. I'll pay for them to get a new pass obviously.
I’m first year arts and am desperate to transfer from dal to kings, I know it’s possible but finding it impossible to make appointment with academic advisor, does anyone know how to start the process???????

Just moved into a new house and my landlord wants us all to get tenant insurance (4 people). Any good, reliable and cost-efficient companies that will insure me in a house of 4 people? (RBC and some others have a policy where they won't insure you if more than 3 people are living in the house). Let me know good suggestions/experiences you have please!
i know its free but like thoughts? opinions? past experiences? thoughts opions
Hi, wanting to enroll in the HPRO 2255 with C Heggie course and wondering if anybody has the syllabus, wondering what is needed as I won’t be able to enroll in it until I get my student loans and don’t want to start out behind. Thanks!
Hi everyone I’m looking for online courses at Dal but most are full. Do you know of any classes that are on campus but the prof posts everything online (lectures, exams etc) so you basically never have to attend class? TIA
