We were planning a bathroom renovation, pre-pandemic. No walls torn down, and not a complete replacement of the tub and tile, but replacing the shower head and valves, and replacing the floor, toilet and vanity. We had finished the shower repair, and getting ready to proceed with the floor, when I lost my job. So we punted - I painted the vanity, replaced the sink and countertop, and painting/stenciling the floor and replacing the toilet. Here's the build album: http://imgur.com/gallery/4ZUworg
Hubs helped with the plumbing, 'cuz that's his thing. But I did all the rest.
If you're interested in painting and/or stenciling a tile floor, I've got a good explanation of the process.
I understand that my choices for the floor were not optimal, but the budget wouldn't allow the work that I knew needed to be done. And by putting in another laminated countertop, I have virtually assured that the next owners of this house will want to gut that bathroom. So I don't regret my choices. As long as we live in this house, this bathroom only gets used when our out of town family comes to visit - maybe 3 times a year.
I spent 3 hours in the crawlspace, cursing the housebuilders for making it only about 15" of space instead of a full 2 feet. My task was to connect the mud sill to the rim joist with metal connector plates, while he drilled out the concrete, blew the dust away with an air compressor hose and installed foundation plates with bolts and epoxy. I can feel how awesome a friend I am today in my shoulders; his Makita impact driver is a lot heavier than my Milwaukee, but had to use his because we were using up batteries so quickly and he had spares for his set up and I don't. There was a lot of laying on my belly, and holding it up a foot above my head to drill. (Best workout ever. Except for needing to wear full breathing protection. ugh.)
I got about 1/6 of the way around the house in those 3 hours, although at least I think they were the most annoying ones; there was a joist beam SUPER CLOSE to rim joist where all the plates needed to be connected. It was quite the knuckle scraper.
No, I have no photos. I love my phone too much to take it in such places. Apparently I don't say the same about ME.
See "Interior Option" photo, repeat by 20+ and add lots of belly crawling.

Last summer I had a housemate move out, and I realized that he'd owned all the art. All the public-room walls were just completely bare. So I found some for free on craigslist that I liked. Deal was, though, that it came in a pile of stuff and "must take all". Easy enough... I just dropped most of the rest of it at the local "Out Of The Closet" thrift store. But they wouldn't take the 'less-evil-cab-app" branded t-shirts; they said they couldn't sell them. And I didn't want to toss them. So I put them aside with a "I'll grab them to use as rags for some stain project or something some day.
I recently joined r/ZeroWaste and have been seeing everyone make their own produce bags, and hey, that same housemate had been the one to own all of those, too, so I needed some.
And I had a nice, mellow weekend.
So I made some stuff! Just finished the last one a few minutes ago!
And thing two. They watched the process with interest. I haven't sewn much the last few years.
I wanted a lounging area/ bed area/ storage space in my office just in case I have more people over than I have beds for (and also so I can curl up and read in just about any room in my house).
Finished product:
The nitty gritty:

Not shown: The bookshelf build (all the typical steps of making a bookshelf, just add attaching it to the bed), the trim work, painting, etc. Sorry, as just one person it would have been really hard to do the work and take pictures at the same time (and honestly I just forgot). Trim was cut using a small miter jig and hand saw. Added the zig in trim in order to accommodate the door for the bookshelf to the right.
Just over 5 years ago we got a great house, built 1984. It was in some serious need of update and repair. This tidbit is the master bath.

Also lol Between the bathroom and kitchen I don't think I want to tile anymore.
8' desk I made for larger projects and hobbies. It went so well I decided to make a smaller flight sim and gaming desk in the corner! The fun part of having a room that's all mine!
Working on a similar kind of large L shape for the both of us to use upstairs. Thinking 8'x6' so the open space will be 6x6. Get some nice arm mounts for the monitors. But I haven't decided how I'd like to do storage. Open shelves would fit the look and be simple to add. Likely end up looking a mess with stacks of stuff if history is any indication lol
It was so EASY! Including going to Ace Hardware it took me less than 2 hours! Why did I let this project scare me for so long!
