Trails like this are possible with limited elevation. It just takes land managers who are willing to build them.

As of 2019, I'm currently on the 27.5" bandwagon with a Salsa Timberjack hardtail. I am extremely happy with it, I was a little hesistant one the 1x11 gearing but it's sufficient for BWine climbs for a weekend warrior rider. Great bike for Fair Hill and MRWC, and Bwine less the rock garden. Prior bikes 26" Cannondale Rush 5z FS and 29" GF X-Caliber HT w 1x9.
