I'm starting a homebaking business and I want to sell instagram worthy loaded cupcakes. However, I'm a bit lost. I see a lot of creative, beautiful designs online (especially on here, you guys are amazing) but I can't begin to think of creative designs like that for my own cupcakes. I'm just curious of whether or not you guys have struggle with a similar thing with your bakes and if you have a strategy to combat this block.
Any advice would be appreciated!
Made these for a baby shower over the weekend. What do you think?
Super excited and proud of these cupcakes! Plus they were a hit with everyone! ☺️
I'm baking cupcakes for the very first time - for that matter I've never baked anything other than a pizza.
Has anyone used Ghirardelli mix or the simple mills mix to bake cupcakes? If yes, can you please explain the recipe to me like I'm 5 the recipe from start to end?
Also, will whipped cream + oreo frosting taste good on these?
I'm thinking of baking for my daughter's birthday and really don't wanna mess it up.
Thanks! This sub is amazing, btw! 💕
Three dozen cupcakes for a couple of young men having a joint 14th birthday party. The moms were shocked they chose Spider-Man of all things, they were expecting the 14 year olds to choose something more "grown up"
I absolutely love that these guys are still letting themselves be kids and are enjoying the things they love without caring what others may think!
My mom is making the press for Thanksgiving, but we are having more people than usual this year and she is concerned there won't be enough dessert (4 pies, 19 people), so asked me to contribute cupcakes! She doesn't make an apple pie (pecan and pumpkin), so I'm trying to translate those flavors. I'm planning a vanilla cake, baked cinnamon apple filling, Italian buttercream, and caramel drizzle. My question: how would you flavor the buttercream for these cupcake? Should I lean more cinnamon, or try brown sugar for my meringue?
I was also working on my son's birthday cake simultaneously, but received a request for a set of gender reveal cupcakes ASAP. The father is leaving for some time on Monday, and I absolutely hate making people wait a long time for gender reveal cupcakes.
Made everything fresh from scratch, vanilla cupcakes with vanilla American buttercream.
