Some of you may have seen our post a couple of months ago where we were looking for people to trial our business, for those who didn't here's a quick rundown. A friend and I thought it would be cool if you could turn any photo you want into a paint by numbers kit. That way you can paint your dog, cat, partner, the whole family or whatever you want without having to be an artist.
We looked up the idea and found that the current stores in the market were ridiculously expensive or only offered kits without a frame or with a DIY frame (who wants to put together their own frame? Don't you just want to open the box and start painting). So we looked around and talked to a bunch of suppliers and eventually we were able to produce custom paint by number kits cheaper then anywhere else and already framed.
We reached out to you here on Reddit asking you to test them out at cost price and we've received some amazing feedback as a result. Thank you if you were one of our OG customers! We want to continue to grow and get more feedback and reviews though so we're re-opening the offer in case you missed it the first time around or you want to order some more kits.
You can use the code "COSTPRICEREDDIT" to get our kits for cost price (our margins are pretty slim right now, we want to be as affordable as possible). You can get up to 4 kits at that price so feel free to buy a few and plan a date night, family activity or just get your Christmas shopping done early. If you've already ordered with that code it has no been reset so you can get the deal again!
We look forward to getting more feedback and hopefully you'll love our kits enough to spread the word to your family and friends!

Looking to relocate to Cumbria, my wife and myself only, now my daughter has moved to London, butw3 can't afford the house prices In Keswick. Cockermouth appears to be prone to flooding so puts me off. We love Keswick and Windermere, my wife doesn't drive so we need to be within a mile of a train station. A couple of decent pubs and a good Indian restaurant are out only must haves. Wigton house prices seem to be good value and the estuary views look spectacular. We are 50 and my wife is British Carribean so she has to feel comfortable wherever we move to. Any advice would be great.
Bit of a weird one.
My mum was born in Barrow-in-Furness in the 70s, but to parents who were both from Northern Ireland and she was taken back to NI a few days later. Her birth was registered when they returned home, but she wasn’t raised by her birth mum so never got to ask questions and unfortunately, her birth mum has now passed away. She has no idea if the date on her birth certificate is even correct and has never known her time of birth, or what hospital she was born in.
I really want to find the record of her birth for her (something she has always wondered about) but I have no idea who I would contact. Would the hospital she was born in back then still exist? Or would anyone know where to contact to get the records? I’ve tried to Google but our system in NI differs a lot to the one in England and it’s hard to search what I’m looking for without getting loads of ‘here’s how to get your birth certificate’ results lol.
Any help is appreciated!
I've always lived in private rentals where I've payed a security deposit upfront and anything there's a problem with when leaving gets deducted from the deposit.
I moved in with my other half who lives in a homegroup property, from what I understand there was no upfront deposit but they then invoice you for any issues.
The house isn't wrecked by any means but it's been well lived in for 9 years and it's in need of some modernization and the back garden has a few broken slabs.
What kind of things will they look to charge us for?
Hello!! I hope you all have had a good weekend!! I'm a 27 year old paranormal enthusiast from Workington looking for friends! As the main interest I stated tends to scare people away, and thus, I have no friends that I can actually talk with on a daily basis as a result of it. It's the sad life of being a clairaudient hahaha. Though, in all honesty, I don't think I actually know how to make friends if I put the question to thought.
I'm into the paranormal, of course, gaming ( Such as Minecraft, Pokemon, Animal crossing, Fall guys ) Drawing and going for long nature walks, music, animals.
the TV shows I watch are Supernatural, FROM (tv show), Grimm, Merlin and Hazbin-hotel!! But if you have any to recommend, then I'd be happy to hear them!
I would love to go grab a coffee with someone and have a chat or go watch a film! If anyone has any suggestions as to how to reach out and find new people, I really would appreciate it.
Or, if you prefer talking on discord instead of Reddit, I am singedsky.
Created a brand new sub r/TheNorthEngland as there's currently no active subs that are just for the North. I'm hoping it becomes similar to this sub, but for questions/discussions regarding the whole of the North of England. Hoping it will become active and would super appreciate anyone who's interested or has the time to join/post :)
Hi everyone,
I am an A-Level student currently studying Geography. As part of my course, I am doing coursework looking at housing in the Lake District, and Keswick. I would really appreciate it if anyone would be able to fill my questionnaire in. It is 100% anonymous
Many Thanks

Hi everyone, I’m 41M and have been living in Whitehaven for a few years with my wife and have been struggling to make new friends (who knew it was difficult as an adult)
Interests include Gaming (both boardgames and video games), listening to and playing music (I’m learning the piano), photography, the outdoors, and watching Newcastle United.
If anyone fancies meeting for a coffee, beer, or anything else then give me a shout. Pretty laid back really just looking for nice people to hang out with.
Do any even exist in Cumbria? The closest I've heard of is Manchester and I'm based near Lancaster. Really hoping for local ones to make some friends and join the kink community as ive been interested in it for years. Bonus points if they're beginner and lgbt friendly
24f living in Cumbria while sofa surfing. Nearly two months ago I left a domestic relationship where I contacted the council on several occasions on moving to hostel. The only hostel they suggested is where I've been in the past that my ex knew at. I couldn't live there due to that fear. I suggested other locations where they now say there's no room.
Nearly two weeks ago by wednesday I had been assessed for council flat temporary for homeless. All I got was "you'll hear from us again for sure & your on the waiting list" I'm worried for how long it will take as my mental health is struggling more now.
I have ADHD , depression, anxiety & eating disorder. I'm assuming they only allowed me on the flat accomodation due to my ADHD.
Really need a clue for how long I'll be waiting & if anything I could do to make the process quicker. Thank you

Hello everyone! I (30/F) am looking to expand my social circle in Carlisle. I am from Hong Kong and have been here for more than 5 years. Apart from colleagues, I have been struggling to connect with people in the area, so I am just wondering if anyone has got any tips? I’m open to suggestions for activities, clubs, or events where I could meet like minded people.
A bit about me: I enjoy crocheting, crafting, gaming, reading, and exploring new cities. I love plants and pets. I’ve got 2 guinea pigs, and I love them to bits! I'm also really into true crime.
Thank you! ☺️

Hello! My family and I are looking to relocate to Kendal. Been many times as tourists but now wanting to visit as a local. Looking specifically for "places to take the kids", places we would usually take them down here. Like parks, open play areas, woods etc. I know there is a play park in the centre of Kendal and an indoor "Mini Kendal" type play cantre. But can you suggest anywhere else? Children are pre school age. Thanks!
Thanks for all the great suggestions!!!
I recently sent a speeding ticket acknowledgement letter back to the ticket office but didn't put the barcode on the stamp which I've now read means the letter won't be posted.
I can't find any info on contacting the ticket office, the only way being a form that requires the details on the letter (which I no longer have).
I don't think it justified ringing 101 so figured best to ask here.
Thanks!
Not my thing, but I have seen posts from people looking for this kinda thing
So this is an information only post from me, :-) hope it is helpful to someone :-)
