Estaré visitando Ciudad Cuenca una vez mas después de 4 años, usualmente me hospedo en el Hotel San Juan por el centro pero me gustaría tratar algún otro hotel local similar. De preferencia que sirvan desayuno (no tiene que se gratuito o incluido en el precio de estadía).

Visiting Cuenca one more time after 4 years, my usual to go is Hotel San Juan, like to try something different along that hotel style that at least includes breakfast (no need to be free or include in the rate)

American in Cuenca. I was really impressed with Don Colon. The owner greeted me at the door. Basically gave me the best deal on food. Tasted great. Good price. I probably will never be back in Cuenca, but this place will never leave my mind 😇

I am trying to follow the coronavirus events in Cuenca from overseas. Is it correct that the social distancing phase may begin 4 May?

I've developed an interest in Cuenca since reading about North Americans who have retired there, or chosen to live in Cuenca for a number of years. It is a city similar in size to my own in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, and it seems to be blessed with the world's most perfect climate.

In any event, I am curious as to whether the protests have significantly impacted on Cuenca.

I wonder whether it would have been better for Ecuador to adopt Canadian dollarization rather than US dollarization because the $Can moves in accordance with the price of oil. The exchange rate would thus have moved more in accordance with the natural rhymes and rhythms of the Ecuadoran economy, rather using the $US.
