We do not allow pure LFG posts nor posts explicitly asking for/or offering carries on this site. This subreddit exists mainly for the purpose of finding or requesting a Crucible Sherpa to help improve your skills and expand your PvP knowledge. Any LFS posts need to include details of what you would like to learn in the Crucible. Asking to get to the lighthouse is not the Sherpas goal, nor should it be the students. If you want to become a Crucible Sherpa, we recommend you post a Sherpa Card. Please see this page for information on how to do this. Gathering feedback on your Sherpa Card allows you to work towards earning Verified Status and the perks that come with it.
Sherpa card comments are for feedback only. Feedback left on a Sherpa's card must be from a run that originated on the /r/CrucibleSherpa subreddit. Please message a mod for further information or clarification. All non-feedback comments on a sherpa card will be removed.

Is there a coach/group or clan of PvP players that still work with others that are serious about PVP? I can hold my own but I genuinely want to get better & dedicate time. For a plus I also do everything PVE.
So I recently dove into comp for the first time hunting for the new shotgun, it looks cool. I got my rank and have been playing a few games, but no comp weapon has dropped for me so far, so I'm starting to wonder if I'm doing something wrong.
Do they just drop by chance or do I need to open engrams?
I read somewhere that you need to have all the other comp weapons in your collections before the shotgun will drop. Is this true?
Is there a tonic that helps with the luck?
edit: I have now played 3+ comp matches on two characters. Will see if obtaining previous comp weapons is necessary.
Edit 2: so it seems that you start to get the drop the week AFTER you get your rank. Then you will see a yellow icon in your director like a weekly challenge, play three comp games to get the gun.
Every other special weapon starts off with at least 1 round after a death. Lord of Wolves doesn't. Is that supposed to happen? My guess is no.
Does anyone have an actual good clan with active players willing to play im 15 and ngl im pretty bad
I just have to say, returning to trials after taking around 6 years off may have been the worst experience of my life. By no means was I expecting to go flawless after so long, but I have never had my ass kicked like that. I was doing fine in regular crucible but, but this was just different. I went flawless plenty back in the D1 days before I went off to college and stopped playing.
Anyone have any tips for just getting “competent?”
Any help would be greatly appreciated, note, i’m around 2000 light, but I get dropped to 1990 when I load into a game. Can anyone explain why that is or how the power system works nowadays?
Thanks y’all.
I’m decent, can solo flawless usually. Comp is a nightmare. Really trying for platinum to finish the seal, but I would really like to snag the emblem once. I play well with good players. I know how to stay alive and support aggressive players. I can occasionally 1v2-3. Any help would be appreciated.
It's so frustrating playing comp as a solo player. If you don't run into 2-3 stacks , its your teamates with a combined .50 K/D. It seems so hopeless with current matchmaking. Does anybody know if bungie has plans to bring back freelance? I feel like I had somewhat better teams when freelance was active
I've never gone platinum- hell never gone gold but I've made it to Gold(ish).
Looking to see if there is a group of two out there I can +1 to get to platinum.
Hello, I am new to destiny 2 and crucible. I have managed to make it to 1801 light level just by playing the game and doing weekly’s. But I am now at a point where I want to polish my stats, I am a titan and want to run rec/res/disc at 100 but I am not sure how to obtain this gear. Is it obtainable by doing crucible only? Thanks for any help.
I can't carry, need super duper pvp'er whos nontoxic in the team, need "carry" for seal. Doing this tonight. USA timezones. We're on console and prefer console lobbies.
Card already started, I think we have 3 wins, kept running into 2.0 duos
Streamers welcome. Can sub on twitch too.
Besides obvious comments that cant be avoided such as "get good and skill issue".
I took a break from d2 pvp a while back and just came back to this nee meta and changes. I was always a decent player in trials could consistently get a few games in to a card at least. These new change i find myself really struggling in pvp. Im no where near a sweatlord but im not complete ass🤣
Question is what really changed. Did ttk and damage become different entirely?
Just the TTKs seem wack from autos and what not or am i just not ready to admit i took too long off.
I'm 1 triumph away from getting my flawless seal but I cannot carry. The triumph is Safe Harbor.
Looking for those who are 1.0+ and have not been flawless this season. Console strongly preferred. Trials is f*cked enough I don't need to be in PC lobbies.
I am in the US.
When is Mayhem next? I cant find this.
Also can I private match this and go in and kill each other 25 times? Anyone willing to try?
Looking to go flawless. Can take directions and am learning. If anyone is interested in helping lemme know. DM me for bungie tag. Cheers!
N
I'm so close to getting flawless seal, I just need to help 3 people who have not been this season. Unfortunately I don't think I can carry satisfactorily and asking for help. If there are people who are adept at pvp (1.0+ or so) and haven't been to the lighthouse, which is unlikely but I'll try, please respond or dm. This is my last triumph and done!
(console please)
I’m bad at sniping, any tips? Also needs to be mentioned that I’m on console
I’m planning on training my hc skills. Never used hand cannons as a main source of damage. Which archetype should I start with?
Hey everyone, I’m LFS to help me improve in PvP, and expand my understanding regarding perks, mods, traits, aspects, subclasses, abilities etc., basically anything to do with the character, armor, and guns as far as optimizing builds around the activity or weapon/armor piece I want to use. Likewise, I’ll need help creating different builds to save for different playlists and activities. I play sporadically throughout the week, heavy on nights and weekends. I would say I’m probably average skill level in non-competitive playlists like control or rift, I really haven’t dabbled in competitive playlists, but since I refuse to use the shotgun melee meta I’d assume I’d probably be low to mid rank in those. If all goes well, I’d like to add some people to my friends list so I have more people to play with. Please PM me in addition to commenting as I sometimes miss notifications.
Any handy helpful guardians want to help a guy get to plat to finish the title?
I remember used barely see this type play style with threading’s. Now go up against whole squads popping off threading’s. Am about unluck new aspects for hunter and warlock to join the fun in trials this weekend. Lol
Communication is key in playing trials and yes you can go flawless not talking. Yet if really want win try using the chat feature to communicate with your teammates.
I am looking for 2 guys who want to be on a Trials team. I am alright but im just tired of matchmaking because most of the teamates i get are terrible. There either bad or i get some half decent people and we play against people who have guilded flawless 5 times. I am not good enough to carry so if you want to join to see if you can get some easy flawlesses please dont. Im not great but i would say im slightly above average. Im down to learn and grow with a group but dont be a blueberry.
Like honestly was surprised at amount bad loadouts I saw in pvp this weekend. So many people using masks from lost festival in trials. Lol
I got a crucible suspension in trials because I left the game after a loss the game had been concluded 3/5 saint was talking and I left and it gave me a suspension. How and why is this a thing the game was over or do I legitimately need to sit through the scoreboard?
Like the title says, I wanna talk about it. I love it! Gotta whole build for it. So I run a Behemoth build with Hoarfrost-Z. Aspects – Tectonic Harvest & Cryoclasm Fragments – Hunger, Shards, Conduction, Durance Double Outreach and Utility Kickstart on class item. Everything else just weapon dependent. Stats
Mob – 50 Res – 103 Rec – 52 Dis – 23 Int – 61 Str – 104
I am usually either running a Swashbuckler primary (smg or sidearm) with a sniper or a Swash slug shotty with a pulse.
Fly in with shiver strike, double punch, proc Swash, get streak, smash barricade for instant melee again, repeat!
Let me hear any feedback or discussion! Cheers ^_^
Edit: ANSWERED
So I didn't realise you had to be flawless in order to have a Sherpa count so I don't want to make a second mistake with next person I run with
For the Sherpa to count do I need to play the entire card n get all 7 wins with that person n help em get flawless
or
can they already be at 6wins and we win the next for them to go flawless and it'll count as a Sherpa
Title, don't know if that sounds too op or anything but would mean that I for one would build into threadlings and would be quite good in pvp aswell Could also have normal threadling kills emit a suspending burst? What are your thoughts on this? To unbalanced?
Looking for a comp partner or 2 to journey to Ascendant. Have made it to Adept III solo this season. I feel like Ascendant is within reach and I fell short last season. But I’ve been up and down in Adept III the last week
Hoping that having teammates can help cross that finish line.
As title says, what exotic do you always have in your inventory and never vault despite never using it For me it would be black talon but when I do use it, I enjoy the thrill. Especially in gambit and some crucible playlists
