Hey hookers, wassup. I need help ID'ing this pattern so I can recreate it. This is my son's baby blanket, I want to make him another matching it so it can be put in storage. (We all know this one will eventually have seen better days.)
Here is the link too: https://forms.office.com/r/kzLvWHWNAW
There are only 12 questions to answer. Hopefully its not to big of a ask

This pattern is called the Campfire Blanket. I made this with the red heart super saver Aran fleck (as noted in the pattern) but used premier ever soft in cocoa and charcoal for the accent colors. I love how it came out. It's cozy. It's bigger than a throw but not overly huge.
I completed this with a 5.5 mm hook. It took 2.5 months of breaks and lunches at work (I took up crocheting to help me quit smoking so I was avoiding going to smoke on my breaks). I'm so proud of it but also so proud to be DONE.
I am on page 17 of 20. It has been a work in progress for over a year. I just have no desire to do it.
It will fit a queen size bed. The page in corner is 8.5"x11" for size.
I crochet as a form of therapy since I'm at home almost all of the time (some chonic illnesses). Mainly baby/kids blankets, some shawls/wraps etc. Once finished they go to the Salvation Army, who gives them away to people who don't have a lot of money. This was my latest batch 😅. 8 blankets, 2 wraps. All made within 3 months.
I really need some help learning how to crochet a baby blanket?
Any advice? Do I make the length and width of the blanket by counting the stitches? I was thinking of doing a blanket about 33” x 33”- do y’all think that is the right size?
Haven't finished this one yet but I'm about one skein into it, it's a lovely pattern. It's creating a gorgeous waffle texture that's very soft and pretty, and the size of the blanket is going to be amazing when I finish it!

Just finished this yesterday for my new baby nephew due in June.
Tl;dr: Looking for advice on how to finish my wonky blanket, especially border recommendations (stitch, color, etc.)
This is the first crochet thing I (mostly) finished. It’s wonky and that’s fine (there’s the ruffle stripe at the top that was just my learning curve because my eyes just couldn’t seem to make out the stitches at first and then there’s the variations in width that I didn’t even notice until I laid it out on the floor and got on a step stool to take a pic.)
I was thinking about adding a border partly to make the wonk a little less noticeable and maybe just add a little polish.
If anyone can give me suggestions for various stitches/colors/etc that might work okay with this I’d much appreciate!
(Also, does anyone think blocking would help? I’ve seen mixed things about how effective blocking acrylic yarn can be, plus this is pretty big.)
My friend wants an all white blanket! What would be a nice crochet stitch for all one color?
Here’s my big project finally almost finished after 2.5 years. My first baby blanket (well blanket in general). Right now it’s at 43”x43”. I still have to finish the boarder and ran out of yarn but it’s coming in tomorrow so I’ll hopefully have it finished by next weekend. Then I’ll take close up pictures. Also the baby will be 2 this Monday the 6th
I used….
I love crocheting and I have seen beautiful blankets here, but find myself skipping any patterns that have "gaps" in the stitching because I think they would be unenjoyable because your toes would get stuck in the holes as you pull it up or throw over you.
My sister made me a dc throw blanket but my toes kept snagging and I just don't like it, hence my aversion to loose styles.
Maybe these kinds are really for display, but don't we really expect our creations to be loved and used? I know I do.
Just wondering if i am alone in the world.
