I know how insane this sounds, but I had this thought while reading ROW the other day, and I genuinely cannot get it out of my head. Help.
I'm sure you could ingest them, right?
Would they just taste flavorless or would they taste like what they are in the Phyical Realm?
If the latter, could those in Shadesmar make a game out of it? Pick up a bead, eat it, guess what you just "ate"?
Because they're not already enough of a choking hazard, would someone be able to soul cast, say, a cabinet bead when it's in someone's mouth and explode their jaw?
This thought started off as a joke in my head and now I'm genuinely curious lmao
i made this at work so technically i got paid to do it
What would this inkspren’s name be?
We start our book with the prelude, some guy named Kalak doesn’t want to go somewhere because he’s going to be tortured so he leaves his friend to be tortured instead and tells everyone they won even though they actually didn’t. What a hero.
After that prelude we get introduced to the main character, Zim Zim Zalabim. Zim Zim Zalabim (Zim for short) is an assassin and he’s wearing white on the day he is to kill a king. He tells us about the magic system and has some cool powers like the ability to stick people to roofs and draw arrows to nearby objects and whatnot. Anyways Zim kills a few people until he finds the king, unfortunately for him, the king is protected by a shard bearer. Zim beat up the shard bearer but plot twist, the king is the shard bearer. Zim then kills the king and then the king tells Zim that Thaidakar is too late and Zim goes “Who?” Then the king is like “ if it isn’t Thaidakar who is it? I bet it's that bastard Sadias” and Zim tells him it was the Parshendi. The king then goes “What?” and dies but not before telling Zim to tell his brother something (it's not important, I doubt it’ll come up again).
As it happens, Zim isn’t actually our main character, it's actually this guy named Sein. Anyways, he’s in the army and he thinks he’s going to die in the battle that he’s in. An older soldier tells him that he’s in the squad of this “Kaladin” guy and apparently he’s really good (I wonder if he’ll come back later). Anyways Kaladin manages to do the battle really well and no one dies but Sien does get wounded. But it's fine, Kaladin sends for some people to take him to a sa… Oh. He’s dead. Well, Sien’s dead, our new main character is that Kaladin guy.
Kaladin is a slave now. Another slave asks him for help escaping but Kaladin already gave up on most of everything. Kaladin decides to try to poison the slaver so that all the slaves die of starvation trapped in the cages, unfortunately for Kaladin (and fortunately for the other slaves) he accidentally destroys his poison before he gets a chance.
Turns out Kalaidn isn’t our main character either, it's actually Shallan. She’s a noble woman and she’s trying to become the ward of Jasnah, the daughter of the king Zim killed in the prologue. She then intends to steal Jasnah’s soulcaster in order to pay off her family’s debts. Not a great plan but it's not like she has a priceless artifact that she never uses just sitting around that she could use to save her family or anything so I guess it's her only option.
Y'all nasty

Words of Radiance, Chp 13, p 226.
I'm halfway through Words of Radiance and only just now Googled how he's supposed to look. Apparently, I missed a few things in his descriptions from TWOK.
I just started The Way of Kings, hopefully I'll understand it soon? ....Go sticks!....?
