so whenever i join a custom game on a custom map (any map) it works completely fine on my friends's end, but on mine it keeps crashing, just exiting cs2 not even providing an error message.

Is it possible to reach Global Elite in competitive matchmaking after valve changed the ranking system a couple months ago? The highest rank i’ve ever seen was Legendary Eagle Master, but no Supremes or Global Elites.

Im playing since cs 1.1 and halflife, real cs community know exactly that cs had stopped since cs 1.6, i mean cs 1.6 was good but all new versions after that are not, new members in valve have removed the core cs concept and the special style of aiming which was crispy, accurate and cover big angle of view.

The main problem after searching for 2 years is:

In csgo and cs2 valve changed the mouse control axis, i mean we all know that weapon in cs2 is located bottom right of the screen but since they update the new agent shape and new legs mechanism this has affected the aim accuracy, since the left leg now is preceding the right leg so the agent is like rotated to the clockwise so the centre of garvity of mouse is not accurate (the centre now seems somewhere in the middle of screen and it's wrong it should be on the right and at the same line with weapon, they ruined the mechanism of aiming) it's not towards the target and not aligned with weapon anymore cause the weapon is aiming diagonally toward the left and agent is looking toward the right; two opposite directions so it's tilted and they interferes so when you put your hands on desk you need to put the right hand above the left hand...

Also they messed with the viewmodel it's not the same anymore and not giving you the accurate field of view (x,y,z) also with the size of weapons and length...

They add crouch fatigue and kill competitivity and they removed the special bhops and bob movements..

All these things that i talked about are the core of the classic counterstrike game and should not touch them at all, these settings which make cs so special and better than all shooter games.

So all new players, they just run and shoot and benefitted from the subtick system and the game latency..

Hi guys. I've bought cs 1.6 from steam. I tried a few matches and saw that I am terrible at this game. My reflexes, aim skills and general strategy infos are very bad. I will watch videos to get better knowledge, but how will i improve aim? I always die so can't practice in matches.

faceit Level 10 player and last night I ran into number 48 on oce leaderboards using wallhacks in a premier match. The guy with a kd of 3, was blatantly tracking through walls, and shooting me through smokes. I was in a 5-stack, and my mates and i were calling him out to kick him but the other team didn't want to kick. We all reported him, but somehow he's still not banned. How is this still happening? This whole VAC 3.0 vac live think feels like it’s letting these cheaters get away with it

My friends and I play cs for casual, we just wanted to have fun like old days. We said the more we lose the easier opponents we will face so we won't have to try hard. My other friends account around 15k but the opponents are playing much worse. My account is around 3k because I wanted to play casually but the opponents are always harder with usual one taps and flicks. Why this happens ? Thank you.

Any guesses why there is no sound and damage after falling from such height?

Infact most of them don’t seem to work.

So, I've been playing CS2 for a few month, with 100 FPS on high graphics. But recently, the framerate dropped and even on lowest can't get higher than 40-50 FPS, also, even though the game tells me I have good ping, rarely it teleports players instead of movement. I can't normally play CS2 anymore...

Is it just a matter of preference or does it impact gameplay?

I used to have it not moving? Now its moving? Cl_dynamic crosshair does not work? How to fix this issue?

I wanted to check out if this guy was wallhacking or not, I am 99% sure but the demo got the "download incomplete" alert...

I'm unable to connect to my friend's server and neither can they join mine. We created the server from the 'Create Server' option in the main menu. Things to note:

1. Can't connect using IP as port forwarding is not supported by our ISP (We both have the same ISP)
2. The weird thing is we can easily find and join each other's servers in CS 1.6 and CS:CZ but we're unable to in CS:S for some reason
3. Most VPNs are far away from where we live and the community servers are all 200+ ping. We're from Asia.

If anyone's able to provide a solution, I'll gift them a small gift in return for the help. Thank you.
