This was maybe his 3rd or 4th game ever hahaha
No, this is not a soundbite. Yes, he is like this every game we play hahaha
I was looking at the logitech g333 since ive seen cs2 pros use them but im hesitant
I play competitive, hella cheaters. I play premier. Even more blatant cheaters. Is there a way to actually enjoy this game? Or should I switch to a game with working anti cheat since valve clearly donโt care?
Do you think counter strike 2 is going backwards from the other counter strike like 1.6? I like competitive game play but the maps are so limited. Remember rat maps in cs1.6 that was so fun!
Hey everyone!
This is the sixth follow-up to my previous post, "Grinding CS While Getting My Fat Ass in Shape."
For everyone that is new here. My name is Eduard, I am 20 years old and work as a Software Engineer. Ive been obese almost my entire life and decided to change that from this year on. Even though health is pretty high up there when it comes to my priorities, I mainly got the idea to start this project due to me believing I can't get any better in CS without putting serious effort in myself outside of the game.
I am using Reddit to document my journey, maybe motivate others as well to keep a better look on their health ๐ซก.
Sup guys ๐,
my main focus last week were walks once again, I basically worked until like 7pm each day during the week, did my walks, played a couple rounds of CS and went to bed. My walks are also being longer and longer. Last month I averaged on around 8k steps/day, now I am at 50k for February already, and Ill try to keep up the past for the future.
I also got myself an Airfryer to cook some stuff without oil, I'm sure it will pay out over time.
No clue what caused the sudden drop of 2.1kg this week, been eating properly, feeling well, so ig we'll take it boys.
^Still my current routine that works great in recent times!
As promised, once Season 2 of CS2 is out im gonna sweat my balls of there lol. At the moment I am at around 20k elo and ngl, until 25k noone seems to really shoot back haha. I am averaging a 1.5 HLTV 2.1 rating so yeah, at the moment I am basically smurfing ๐.
^((For everyone who doesnt know, I basically played Premiere in season 1 until January of 2024, peaked at 19k, then never played it again since I switched to Faceit. Until now I basically just played Premiere for fun!))
I won't play much Faceit until I am atleast at 25k + 125 wins in Season 2. Depending on if I really want to grind or not, I might even go for Gold (30k+ rating).
Due to Reddit not letting me upload my images on Here with the post, I uploaded them on Imgur:
Last 20 games of Premiere with stats:

I am, in the scheme of things, new to CS. Started following tier 1 pro play in 2016, and getting to playing Collegiately and casting, so I know I am to new to have played the story co-op operations. If I wanted to play them in order of Canon to learn more and experience the story, what would be the order?
I used to play with a cousin and he was REALLY bad... it was all fun and games. but one day we went to play and he got 30 kill... then 40, then 20 something.
i checked the replay and it was REALLY sus the way he was playing.
I talked to him and he swore to literally everything he is not cheating, and he never gets banned. (I reported him cuz I KNOW HE IS) is there a way to check fr if he is cheating without asking to see his files etc? or a way to get him banned without me being the bad guy lol
im just not playing cs anymore cuz he always joins
Shoot me a msg if u got one will buy through trusted 3rd party website only
Hey everyone,
I played CS2 for about a week when it came out, just to try it (I had stopped playing CS:GO and have around 2,500 hours). Now Iโm back to playing more often, mostly casual games.
But Iโve noticed that in about 7 out of 10 casual games I play, there are fewer than 10 players? The only time I get a full lobby is when I join a game thatโs already almost over. And in these smaller games, if one side starts winning, people just leave, which kinda sucks.
My PC runs the game at around 150 FPS 'older' maps and 100 'newer maps, which is why Iโm avoiding ranked or Premier for nowโฆ (I know Iโd just get frustrated with the performance, frames, stutters, and all that).
Am I missing something?
For context: I have prime enabled and usually play almost every day between 7 and 10 PM CET.
I started playing CSGO about 10 years ago, I think. And I'd like to come back to CS2. I've obviously already tested the game when it came out etc. but I haven't played it much more seriously than that I've had a few years on Valorant as well. But CS was always my first competitive game, so I have a certain attachment to it.
Now here are my questions:
Is FaceIt still the most popular/less toxic competitive platform than ranked or does the world prefer to play in prime mode?
Are there any youtubers/streamers that are interesting to watch in order to progress?
Overall, how do you learn to play CS2 in 2025?
Has anyone had issues queuing with friends you previously were able to? I queued my first couple Premier games this season with my friend who has always been roughly 2-4k ELO apart from. I was a 15k ELO and he was 17k at the end of last season. We are now being told one of us is to far apart or doesn't have an established rating and can't queue together. Though our ELO's have never been even close to 10k apart. (Neither of us have won 10 games this season yet)
Anyone else running in to issues like this this season?
When I was a child, I played a map on a lanhouse and I couldn't find it later on. I'd like to know its name, but I only have a vague description of it on my mind. It consisted of two sides, one blue and the other one red, on the opossing ends of a rectangular-shaped map. On each side, there was sort of a wall, atop of which people could fire snipers. Between the sides, there was a battleground with some covers and I think a small river in the center. Does anybody know which map I'm talking about? I'd be very glad if someone could help me. Please, if you think you know what map I'm talking about, just post a screenshot here, so I can see and identify it.
So it turns out, there is some hidden mmr that does not allow me to queue prem with my friends. Im 2Matches into my placements, wanted to queue with a duo yesterday and it said that our skill rating is to far apart to queue together. (Dont have a screen, but it is the usual message we got back in csgo when having to high rank difference)
Anyone noticed the same problem? I see no reason in queueing prem if i have to solo every damned match.
Hey everyone,
Back in the CS:GO days, I used to host 24/7 servers using Google Cloud by creating new accounts and taking advantage of the 3-month free trial. It worked pretty well for what I needed. Later on, I tried Oracleโs free tier, but the performance wasnโt great compared to Googleโs services.
Now with CS2, Iโm looking for recommendations on virtual machine services that are either cost-effective or even free, if possible. I just need to run at least one server reliably.
Does anyone know of any good options out there? Would love to hear your suggestions!
Thanks in advance!
Hey everyone, this is my first post here! Iโve been experimenting with some new strats videos, and I wanted to share a quick video showcasing strat from EF. Iโd love to hear your thoughts or suggestions on how to improve it. Let me know if youโd like more strats like thisโIโve got a few of them!๐
Enjoy and GLHF! ๐ฅ
