Can anyone clear up my questions? This is causing too much stress in something - Costco - we really love! We spend loads at Costco and don't want to run afoul of the rules and potentially risk losing the cash back for the year / get kicked out.
Specific situation (and feel free to comment / contrast this with other Costco memberships:)
On an executive business membership with corporate address 'A', we pay $130. That gets 2 cards / allows 2 different people on that card and both earn the 2%, right?
When I look on:
it talks of 'Includes a free Household Card'. Realistically, the corporate address 'A' might not be a residence. Or might be the owner's home.
It's the holidays! When buying an appliance / computer for a non-costco member as a gift or supplied by the company (for resale, and the business membership is set up for resale / tax exempt when buying it):
For costco concierge support / 2nd year warranty, my experience is they ask for the member number and your personal info (that was a while ago though.. really haven't had to call much at all).
Do you need to give the recipient the receipt / your member number so they can call?
and say they are the member? Or can they say they got the item as a gift from member x or bought from member x? Does this answer vary if you buy under a gold star vs. business membership?
When you buy that appliance with an extended warranty to either give as a gift or for resale, does the situation (the recipient wasn't the person that bought it at costco) affect the extended warranty?
Anyone know if there's any 'non transferrable' clause in the warranty?
(Which I think is usually inteneded to mean - f you buy a TV, use it for a year and then sell it, you can't sell the extended warranty with it... but giving as a gift or resale to another person... you ARE tranferring the warranty from the costco member that bought it to a potentially non-costco member.)
THANKS!
I'll now go take my OCD meds (that I get at a great price at Costco Rx!) : )
Here is the link they used last year: https://www.costcotravel.com/Travel-Offers/Travel-Holiday-Deals
The two side panels were loaded upside down.
Anyone have insite into the olive oil selections? Over the summer they had a lot of variety of single country sourced. Now they just have kirkland and another in a plastic bottle. Located in SC. Hope to see my variety come back.
They were sold in tall duo-pack bottles last year.
I was out of the country for the last month, and now that I’m back, I need new contacts…thing is my prescription expired about a few weeks ago. Think Costco will let it slide and let me buy just a box to hold up until I get new prescriptions?
I am waiting to get new prescriptions because I’m switching to a cheaper plan in January.
Have you tried the French Toast bagels from the bakery? I spotted them in Pleasanton and Fremont, CA but haven’t liked the bagels in general since they changed them so I didn’t get them. I was tempted though!
I picked them up and I hope they’re good.
Okay okay. There’s a recent post on this, and I think there may be another reason behind the contradicting reviews (other than people having different tastes, of course).
I had those cheesecakes when visiting family in Southern California this Thanksgiving. And holy crap it was awesome. Creamy, not too sweet, and rich without being a calorie bomb.
I went back home (Northeast) and eagerly bought one from our local Costco. And omg it was icky. It had a weird perfume-y/chemical taste to it, and the cream just felt… oily. 2/10 would not recommend.
N=2, but my conspiracy theory is there’s either some regional or dramatic batch variation to these little suckers.
After the stove was delivered yesterday (which went smoothly except they were like an hour early from their window of time, which was completely fine) we noticed today that the cooktop portion is loose. If I push down on it in the back left side, it moves up and down. The upper right also does it. Will Costco just swap it out? I don’t really know how it works since this is my first appliance from them.
Hi all, I am writing to ask what to do here. I dont want to get in any trouble or lose my Costco membership for any reason.
I purchased 2 TVs from Costco on the app last week because of Black Friday. In preparation for these purchases, I opened an account with the Citi Costco Anywhere card so I could get some cashback. I used the temporary card information they sent me while I awaited the physical card delivery. When I purchased these TVs, I had no idea, but they only charged the warranty prices ($65) and shipped the TVs. A day later, I received the physical Citi Costco credit card, so I activated it. I could only see the credit card transactions AFTER activating this card, btw. Later, WHILE the TVs are out for delivery, I get 2 emails, one of which is attached to this post. The transactions for the rest of the TV prices were both declined, but lo and behold, I now have 2 TVs that are not paid for.
I called Costco customer service yesterday to inform them of this, but they told me everything looked fine on their end and just to call them back if there are any issues with the deliveries.
I really dont want to get in any trouble, but what should I do? Should I call Costco again, or maybe talk to Citi bank?
Thank you in advance.
I have a bunch of things we bought but never ended up needing for our thanksgiving party.
I’m not talking about buying folding chairs/tables and then returning them like a free rental. But we bought extra chicken stock, martinelli’s, tin foil trays, etc that are sealed and unused.
Is it cool or am I going to get judged?
Came out pretty good. Way more Turkey then we expected. It will last a few more days. Cranberry sauce was good. I got a container for the Organic Cranberry sauce too (marked down to $2). It was too watery.
Only thing I didn't think was great was the green beans.
Does health insurance start at 60 days or 90 days after hire? Recently started as a depot driver in California.
I feel like costco had sold hot choclate in the costco food court. I just have this blank memory of having it. I'm not sure if it was a dream but I have been thinking mabye people had also had it??
The grasshopper is still available. There are cacti, palm trees and much more to choose from.
Figured maybe someone wanna know or looking. 6-8 feet
Does anyone know when Cyber Monday sales start? Is it midnight local time? Midnight eastern time or something else?
Tastes really good while having minimal real ingredients. How is it this good?
It’s been years since I last bought croissants from Costco, and I remember them being incredibly crispy, golden, and perfectly flaky. I recently picked up a pack expecting the same buttery goodness, but something feels off. They’re still tasty, but the texture isn’t quite what I remember—less flaky and a bit softer.
Has anyone else noticed this? Did they change the recipe, or is it just nostalgia playing tricks on me? Curious to hear if others feel the same or have insights on why they might be different now!
